Re: The Wonderful 101: Remastered Smashes Its $1.5 Million Stretch Goal, Platinum Reveals Two More

@BarefootBowser I will say, as much as I personally loved Wonderful 101, I was shocked that it was so well funded so quickly because I had heard it only sold 5000 copies.
Yes I'm worried that every single person that wants the game will fund the Kickstarter and then nobody will buy it off the shelves, but we'll have to see what happens. The good news is there were like 13 million Wii U systems and there are 50 million Switch systems, 100 million PS4 systems and I have no clue Steam accounts so I figure it's got a chance to be successful.

Personally I'd love to see it sell so well they they make a sequel

@BarefootBowser @BenAV
Sounds to me like this game just doesn't appeal to you 2. I'm cool with that. One of the reasons there is such a wide variety of games is that we don't all like the same games.

For example, I'm an odd duck in that I don't enjoy Call of Duty or Halo. I think both of them are mediocre, but I wouldn't pay money to play either and if I was gifted them they would just gather dust

@BenAV @BarefootBowser I know this will come of as accusatory, but I must ask if you guys that didn't like this game played enough to get the hang of it?
I ask because I played the demo and decided the game isn't for me. Then when the price dropped to $30 I decided to try it anyways and (after getting the hang of it and starting to understand what the game is actually trying to do, I realized how incredibly fun this game actually is.
If you gave it a fair shake and still didn't like it then you're good, but if you just tried the demo I have to suggest you give it another try

@KingBowser86 controls without the touchscreen were already in the game. When I played it, I used the touchscreen controls for several hours, then I used the joystick controls for several hours and I MUCH PREFERRED the joystick controls so I stuck with that method.

@LUIGITORNADO you're complaining about what they're doing with the story... And you don't even know what it is yet?

Maybe they planned this all along and it will feel right after playing.

In just saying don't bash on what it does to the story until you know what it does to the story. From the trailer I think it sounds interesting

Re: Feature: Game Of The Decade Staff Picks - Xenoblade Chronicles

@pipapaul hard? You just have to learn the mechanics and strategies.

@ShinyUmbreon I disagree, @bozz it's the only JRPG I've found that I love. Yes figuring out the combat system was a challenge for me, but the game was so good it was worth it

This game is my all time favorite game. I can't wait to play it on an airplane on my Switch!

Hopefully Xenoblade X is next (this probably only happens if it sells really well)

Re: Poll: What Other Wii U Games Do You Want To See On Switch?

leo13

How could you only let us vote for 1?
When I saw all the ports happening, I sold my Wii U, figuring it was a safe move. Now I'm considering buying a Wii U for Xenoblade X, Wonderful 101 & Nintendo Land. I absolutely LOVED those 3 games and I really want to play them all again.

I'm 100% buying Xenoblade HD!!! That's my all time favorite game and I can't wait to play again! I"m hoping for a collector's edition.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions is interesting, but I struggle with Turn Based RPGs

If Breath of the Wild 2 comes out then I'll be all over that, but I really don't expect it until next year.
