@Pirlo_ze_sniper I understand the desire to get games like Darksiders on PS, but for me the answer is always Switch (if that's an option) because being about to play on work trips and random errands SIGNIFICANTLY increases my gaming time
It's not in the list, but I spent last night and this morning playing NBA Playgrounds 2. I bought that game over a year ago, but I recently finally unlocked all the players so I'm finding LOADS of new fun.
I really wish they would port Monster Hunter World to the Switch for guys like me. I understand they would have to downgrade the resolution maybe even down to 540, but I'd take that
@BarefootBowser I will say, as much as I personally loved Wonderful 101, I was shocked that it was so well funded so quickly because I had heard it only sold 5000 copies. Yes I'm worried that every single person that wants the game will fund the Kickstarter and then nobody will buy it off the shelves, but we'll have to see what happens. The good news is there were like 13 million Wii U systems and there are 50 million Switch systems, 100 million PS4 systems and I have no clue Steam accounts so I figure it's got a chance to be successful.
Personally I'd love to see it sell so well they they make a sequel
@BarefootBowser @BenAV Sounds to me like this game just doesn't appeal to you 2. I'm cool with that. One of the reasons there is such a wide variety of games is that we don't all like the same games.
For example, I'm an odd duck in that I don't enjoy Call of Duty or Halo. I think both of them are mediocre, but I wouldn't pay money to play either and if I was gifted them they would just gather dust
@BenAV @BarefootBowser I know this will come of as accusatory, but I must ask if you guys that didn't like this game played enough to get the hang of it? I ask because I played the demo and decided the game isn't for me. Then when the price dropped to $30 I decided to try it anyways and (after getting the hang of it and starting to understand what the game is actually trying to do, I realized how incredibly fun this game actually is. If you gave it a fair shake and still didn't like it then you're good, but if you just tried the demo I have to suggest you give it another try
@Supadav03 they already hit they $50k...20 min after it launched. They've also hit the Steam and PS4 goals... They're almost to $1 million which unlocks the first DLC a 2D side scrolling adventure
@KingBowser86 controls without the touchscreen were already in the game. When I played it, I used the touchscreen controls for several hours, then I used the joystick controls for several hours and I MUCH PREFERRED the joystick controls so I stuck with that method.
Of how I wish Fire Emblem Awakening and Xenoblade 3D and A Link Between Worlds (my 3 favorite 3DS games) could have sold more... They truly deserved it.
However, I'm happy to see that my 4th favorite, Mario 3D Land, made this list
@mariomaster96. @Ladasta I'm so in the minority here, but I don't MK 9. I love MK8 & all my friends have MK 8 so plant online works really well. Another DLC pack would be nice though
Sounds like I'm going to be VERY BUSY this year. In order of priority I'll be playing
1-Xenoblade Definitive Edition 2-Astral Chain (I got so sucked into multiple Playthroughs of Fire Emblem that I never bought this) 3-Fire Emblem Three Houses DLC
@pipapaul hard? You just have to learn the mechanics and strategies.
@ShinyUmbreon I disagree, @bozz it's the only JRPG I've found that I love. Yes figuring out the combat system was a challenge for me, but the game was so good it was worth it
This game is my all time favorite game. I can't wait to play it on an airplane on my Switch!
Hopefully Xenoblade X is next (this probably only happens if it sells really well)
So I have 4 I desperately want. 1-possible, but not likely-Wonderful 101 2-possible, but very unlikely-Xenoblade X 3-possible, but incredibly unlikely -Nintendo Land 4-impossible-Spiderman
I'm TERRIBLE at predicting what Nintendo will do. However, if they release a Pro Switch (that actually switches I don't have any use for a docked only system) then it's almost a guarantee that I'll buy it even if it's pricey (over $500)
How could you only let us vote for 1? When I saw all the ports happening, I sold my Wii U, figuring it was a safe move. Now I'm considering buying a Wii U for Xenoblade X, Wonderful 101 & Nintendo Land. I absolutely LOVED those 3 games and I really want to play them all again.
@Cartune really? I thought Splatoon 1 was mediocre at best, but I LOVE 2. I probably didn't put more than 20 hours into the original and I've put about 150 into the sequel
It's like you're taunting me. Yes I was hoping to get Astral Chain for Christmas, no it didn't happen. Yes I plan to buy it now (after I finish my 3rd Playthrough of Fire Emblem Three Houses)

By the way, if you don't have it it's in sale right now for only $7.50

@guamyankee absolutely. I've played it alone quite a bit and my son loves to play alone, it's just I really enjoy it with a group
Re: 2K Kicks Off Nintendo Switch Sale With NBA, WWE And More Heavily Discounted (North America)
If you haven't tried it yet, NBA 2K Playgrounds 2 is like a mix between NBA Jam & NBA Street.
It's super fun, I just played it this morning with my son

I'd like to second NBA 2K Playgrounds 2! We've had it for over a year now and it's great fun especially for a group

@PorllM are you sure? I could have sworn Nintendo published it on Wii U

It's going to be a busy year
Re: Fire Emblem: Three Houses Gets A Fourth House In The Next Wave Of DLC
@LUIGITORNADO you're complaining about what they're doing with the story... And you don't even know what it is yet?
Maybe they planned this all along and it will feel right after playing.
In just saying don't bash on what it does to the story until you know what it does to the story. From the trailer I think it sounds interesting
Re: Poll: What Features Would You Want In A Switch 'Pro'?
Faster CPU (and more RAM)
Smaller bezels
Bluetooth for my headphones
We DON'T need 4K use the faster processor and RAM to achieve better games not higher resolutions

@Jayofmaya I also like that they did Byleth. It's a great game and I'm excited to play smash with him

Fire Emblem Three Houses!!!
I'm close to beating it with a second house

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 4th)
Fire Emblem Three Houses
Splatoon 2
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Re: Splatoon's 'Happy New Year' Message Appears To Tease Something New
@Cartune really? I thought Splatoon 1 was mediocre at best, but I LOVE 2. I probably didn't put more than 20 hours into the original and I've put about 150 into the sequel
Re: Nintendo Reveals The 25 Most-Downloaded Switch Games Of 2019 (Americas)
I'm very said to see Fire Emblem, but what about Astral Chain?
Re: Talking Point: Astral Chain Proved That New IP Can Still Succeed In 2019
This game is still on my list of games I'd like to try! I need to finish Fire Emblem 3 Houses first as I'm halfway through my 2nd playthrough
Re: Feature: Our Most Anticipated Nintendo Switch Games Of 2020
I'm 100% buying Xenoblade HD!!! That's my all time favorite game and I can't wait to play again! I"m hoping for a collector's edition.
Tokyo Mirage Sessions is interesting, but I struggle with Turn Based RPGs
If Breath of the Wild 2 comes out then I'll be all over that, but I really don't expect it until next year.
