@Jese_1 Sorry but I don't think a new Earthbound game will be happening anytime soon. I think Nintendo will make a new Ice Climbers before they make a new Earthbound.

I'm guessing we'll get Mother 3 localized at some point though.😃

@S-Miyahon I think it has been stated that a new Metroid could possibly come early in the NX's lifespan.

I like how he tries to lay the blame on the retailers. I've seen pretty much all of the amiibo barcodes/racks/names in stores but you know what, those racks were empty. A retailer can't stock shelves if they have no product. It's a supply/manufacturing issue, but nice try Reggie.

Criterion created one of my favorite games of all-time in Burnout 3 Takedown so of course I would have loved to see a new F-Zero game from them. That being said I'm not as disappointed as most people seem to be about this. The conversation was a long time ago and I haven't been expecting a F-Zero game for a long time.

I've pretty much given up hope for amiibo. Nintendo seems to be "restocking" shelves with 0-10 amiibo per store but the chance of finding them is still slim to none. I'd really love to get the pixel Mario but I'm already expecting limited to no, most likely the latter, availability. Nintendo could be making millions from amiibo but they seem to have a major problem which still isn't solved 7 months later.

It's great that amiibo use many different games and each new game that comes out raises the value of the amiibo that I purchased. However, I want the other costumes and features that the other amiibos provide which I can't get because the amiibo are out of stock. Take Wii Fit Trainer for example. I'd love to get the costume for it in Super Mario Maker, but there was and is no stock of the amiibo. Why release content that only a small fraction of players can get. I realize that it great to add that extra content for players who have that amiibo, but what about those who don't? I want that content too. How can I get it without paying the ridiculous prices on eBay? I'd love to find the missing Toads in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker but amiibo is almost impossible to find making this an awesome but unused feature.

This has been a problem since the very beginning of amiibo and I don't see it getting any better by the end of 2015. I can actually see it getting worse because as new amiibo realesed, the old ones get phased out. If Nintendo re releases the old figures again scalpers just buy them all and sell them at a premium price.

This game was definitely the highlight of the presentation for me. I haven't had the chance to play the other Mario & Luigi games but I have played all of the Paper Mario games and (mostly) loved every one. I hope this has the 3D effect that Sticker Star has because, in my opinion, Sticker Star has the best 3D graphics of any 3DS game so far.

@NibelsnarfNoob I figured the story was different in each. I might pick it up since its on sale in the eshop.

Not very good deals overall. I might pick up Uprising since I don't own it. I have played it though and it was great.

I'm considering buying Fates as my first FE game. Do you think I should start with Awakening first?

Metroid did much better than I expected. Personally I don't really want it.

The games I want most are Yoshi's Wolly World, Super Mario Maker, Xenoblade Chronicles, and Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.

@IronMan28 Agreed. If it didn't have Metroid Prime in the name it would have been received a little better.

@aaronsullivan Honestly I'm not a big Animal Crossing fan. AC:NL was my first entry into the series and some consider it the best. I found it to be really slow and I kind of gave up on it sadly. I think Happy Home Designer would be awesome DLC for New a Leaf and would get more people playing it again. That's just my opinion though.

I'm also a bit disappointed about AC Amiibo Festival. Based upon the current amiibo shortages I'm not sure it's even playable. It seems like a game like this came out a few months ago. Oh that's right Mario Party with the amiibo feature. I could also see this game as DLC for Mario Party. AC:AF priced at $10 (remember you have to buy the amiibo to play) would be a great addition to Mario Party.

@aaronsullivan Honestly I wasn't really expecting anything huge. Maybe a few new games here and there. The new games were a bit disappointing and it seems like they spent more time talking about games that were in last year's E3.

Basically anyone who hasn't watched this year's E3 and/or hasn't seen last year's E3, watch that. It'll show you the same games plus Zelda, minus Star Fox. It might get your spirits up too if you just watched this year's E3.

@Fidu I was expecting some sort of backlash. I'm sure the game will be great for some people but I don't think it's for me (at the moment).

@Fidu I wasn't really a fan of Hunters and it doesn't appear to have Samus in it. I think I'll be skipping it.

If we hadn't of gotten Metroid we would have complained. We got a "Metroid" and we were still mad. So either way they were screwed with what they had.

Back to Splatoon. I'm just not sure it can sustain the Wii U by itself for another 6 months.

I'm predicting loses for the fiscal year. Unfortunately if you recently bought Nintendo stock, you might be loosing a fair amount of money.

@MarioPhD They transformed their games into spin-offs but it doesn't seem like Nintendo is doing any transforming when it comes to the game/console features of today's market.

@Ryu_Niiyama I thought it was great but all of the costumes that I want come from the amiibo that I can't get. So its a useless feature for me.

Who voted "I loved it, awesome". I think you're lying to yourself. Just kidding. Overall it was pretty disappointing. It's probably the worst E3 Direct/Press Conference since 2013 and I think it was more disappointing than that.

The best NEW game is probably Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam.

PS: The puppets/muppets theme was good at the beginning but after that it was useless I don't think it helped with the flow of the presentation. I enjoyed the Robot Chicken version more.

Don't really care (mostly because of the cost). If I get anything it wont be for a couple weeks anyway.

I can see $4-5 for new characters but $4-5 for old characters is kind of lame. I'll fire up Melee and Brawl and play them for free.

I've kind of lost the excitement for tourney mode. It seems like it was announced a long time ago. I'll still play it it just doesn't have the same hype as it did before.

The Youtube feature is great but, like in Mario Kart, I'll probably never use it.

Kind of pricey for me but I'll get the characters and stages eventually. I'm not really into the costumes. I haven't even bought the ones from before.

@Sakura I'm not sure I would call it the national championships either. The closest location to me was almost 800 miles away.

After I found it was 12 hours away I completely lost interest.

@NintendoFan64 Problem #1 is probably more Nintendo's fault than it is the retailers. Nintendo needs to pay retailers more for more shelf space.

To be honest I gave up after Rosalina. If I see a rare one I'll pick it up but other than that I could care less about amiibo anymore.

Btw I love the game and will definitely be playing it for months. Some of the decisions made were good but some of the are somewhat strange.

What other features allow you to play this game strategically? There is no voice chat and you can't even switch out weapons and gear based on the selected map. Don't get me wrong Splatoon is still a great game, but it some of the decisions that the design team made are a bit strange.

It's a good thing I have unlimited minutes on my phone so I can talk to my friends while I play.

I voted Splatoon but I will be picking up the hard copy.

@Jayvir Agreed. The nearest event from me is almost 1000 miles. Needless to say, I won't be attending. It's strange that there is no event in Denver, as it is one of the major cities in the midwest. It's still 200+ miles away from me but I would definitely consider attending.

Also why is a competition this big (in Nintendo's eyes) not on Wii U? Seems like a major championship should be held on a home console, not a handheld. Plus the Wii U needs more publicity (although I don't think anyone, except for hardcore Nintendo fans who probably already own a Wii U, will care about the World Championships).

They definitely missed the ball on this one. However the Best Buys will certainly be crowded all day so Nintendo will undoubtedly use the successful attendance numbers in a future press release, even though they could have had a lot more if they did a few more stores.

Pretty lame overall. Not many locations for the "World Championships". I'd barely call it the "National Championships". I don't think I'll be driving 1,000 miles to play NES Remix.

@DreamyViridi I'm not quite sure why Sticker Star is so hated. It had great 3D visuals and the gameplay was pretty creative. I thought it was a pretty good game compared to Super Paper Mario. That game was super challenging it was hard to complete the game with out going on the Internet to find the solution. I believe it got rid of the turn-by-turn battling as well.

I just replayed Sticker Star last week and it was just as fun as the first time I played it.

If you haven't played it it's definitely worth a try! One of my favorite games and I do plan on rebuying it on Wii U. Any idea how much the discount is if you purchased it on the Wii?

I really don't see Zelda getting delayed until the NX. Just think about it. Zelda was supposed to be released this year. I'll give it another year (holiday 2016). Nintendo has said that the NX will not be shown at this year's E3. The span between the Wii U debut and its release was almost a year and a half. The 3DS had almost a year between its debut and release. This puts the NX release date between March 2017-November 2017. It makes no sense for Zelda to wait that long.

However Zelda will be one of the last games released on the Wii U unfortunately. It could end up like Twilight Princess, appearing on the Wii U and the NX, depending on the gap between Zelda's release and the NX's release.
