@KevinLo9 I’ve only put 15 hours into this game so far so I’m still undecided to conclude if this is better than MK8/MK8D. the reason I only have 15 hours is because I’m still engaged with MK8D! I am still playing it regularly for the sole purpose that I’m trying to reach 99999VR and I’m less than 1K away from accomplishing my goal 🏎️🏁🏆
I’ve only used it once but it was a cool experience. I only played with one friend and we were each playing a different game but ended up chatting for quite a while
I purchased the camera along with my system + MKW so I’m definitely looking forward to the experience. It’ll be a blast to connect with people and see how they’re experience with the system and MKW in the first couple of weeks
that’s crazy! I own 77 of these titles! a big thank you to Hamster for bringing all these classic arcade games back and for letting me relive the good old 80’s and 90’s of my childhood!
I was really hoping for Delfino Square from DS and Shy Guy Bazaar from 3DS. but all in all, I’m more than happy with all the added 48 courses! great job Nintendo!
Universal Studios Hollywood is less than an hour drive for me so I’m extremely fortunate. as a huge Nintendo fan, I’m definitely going soon. but as an introvert, I’m going to wait a bit until the first wave of big crowds are done. might even go on a Tuesday to avoid big crowds
as a hardcore Mario Kart fanatic, I’m definitely getting this. although I won’t be able to ride it, I have a few young nephews and nieces that’d be more than happy to drive this!
I, for one, am glad about the existence of this article. I’m 41 years of age and was thinking to myself,”who the hell is Dream?! and why is his face reveal a thing?!” 🤷♂️
as a long time Mario Kart fan, I have to disagree with the quantity over quality…MK8/MK8D is the most balanced and entertaining kart yet! I, for one, am in total favor of Nintendo going for not only above, but beyond!! I’d always post about how much I’d pay money for DLC of MK8D. I’d been happy if the first two waves were the only ones released but to double up on courses is insane!
as for the topic of discussion…I loathe Baby Park. I get your point but as a competitive player, I prefer courses that are less chaotic and simple to a complex course where driving skills are really out to test 😎
I still have my Wii U so it’s nice that I still have access to Windwaker HD, and Twilight for the old Wii. with that said, it would be nice to have these titles on Switch but not must buy purchases if they did release
…on the other hand…if they did release…and if the rumored GB/GBC/GBA Nintendo Switch online were to release, the Switch can have the potential to have all Zelda releases on a single system! (they’d also have to release DS/3DS Switch on line service to have them ALL completely…sorry CD-i Zeldas)
I’ve had this one since launch as well. I only seem to play this when I visit family that love to play vs Tetris. the characters, as annoying as the voices can be, are the icing on the cake for me. I loved when the character id choose would always shout “what an easy win” after a victory.
thank you for the article and sharing your memory of this game. it’s a great couch competitive game!
I’ve been keeping an eye on the site for quite sometime and I was able to purchase a pair of both the SNES and Genesis pads. I bought the pair of NES ones when they were on sale a couple of months back.
now I’m waiting for the N64 ones to restock like everyone else here…
…and yes, what’s the deal with the pricing on the Genesis pads?!
@Tandy255 that’s exactly what I was thinking!…I believe this is the first week since the release of the Switch that Hamster does not have an Arcade Archives release. five years running and it was quite a run
that’s great that they’re having these discounts in the eShop! the “MAR10” sale started over the weekend at local retail stores and I managed to pick up an extra copy of MK8D and a pair of Mario and Luigi Home Circuit karts for 33% and 40% discount
I purchased the digital copy of this game when it was released on day one. I’ve been enjoying but haven’t gone through the whole game. it’s a 20.2GB download for the digital version
the one out of all of these that stands out most is Mighty Milky Way! simple concept with difficult/addictive game play. the soundtrack and graphics in this game are great!!

Re: Talking Point: Will You Be Buying Any Game-Key Card Switch 2 Games?
in 8 years of Switch I’ve only purchased 4 physical carts. everything else is digital.
my problem at this moment is where can I purchase an SD express card? with all great future titles I know it’s going to be much needed. 1TB minimum
Re: Mario Kart Live Developer Warns Of Layoffs After "Major Project" Axed
they did an awesome job with Mario Kart Live: Home Circuit!

Rastan

Re: The Legend Of Zelda: Oracle Of Seasons & Oracle Of Ages - Which Should I Play First?
Seasons…it’s the one I started with when it first came out and it’s the one I’m starting with again.
I also own these two games on my 3DS but sadly never got around to finishing them 😔
Re: Random: Sakurai Explains Why True Twin-Stick Controls Weren't Possible For Kid Icarus: Uprising
I still have the stand that comes with the game. IMO a great game that’s been overlooked by many. I need to find me a copy and re-indulge in this game

Re: A Japan-Only Mega Man Game Just Shadow Dropped On The Switch (US)
Switch pretty much has every Mega Man game!
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (July 23rd)
I’m with Gonçalo as I’ve been playing a lot of retro goodness in Capcom Vol 2. Side-Arms is just awesome with the volume turned up!
and I agree with Ollie. Ocarina of Time 3D is the definitive and better way to play (especially when it comes to the tedious Water Temple)

Re: It's Official, Nintendo Has Withdrawn Super Smash Bros. From EVO 2022
