@Not_Soos I think Nintendo knows that the current sales (although still good) won't have the exponential surprise to satisfy the shareholders. I can easily find a new Switch in my country, they are in piles everywhere. But PS5 I still need to see one in real life.

What's the point in buying physical copies now. Half of those developers release an unfinished game which requires huge patch downloads weeks later, making the physical copy an Incomplete Edition.

Announcing that a new system is coming without giving out any sort of details or even an approximate release year is pointless and that coming from Nintendo's president. I could make the same announcement for every tech brand.

@jsty3105 Thanks, I guess I could figure it out if I really wanted to. This is my first Metroid game, I enjoyed it very much, but expected it to have clear indications (maybe a a highlighted next destination on the map) Old metroid fans willl will like the wandering around and finding out by themselves where to go. But to me it is just too time consuming when you walk through the same room 20 times.

This game has been in development for an entire console generation.

I am stuck in this game, enjoyed every battle, but most of the time I just don't know where I need to be to progress resulting in wasting hours wandering around.

Given that digital sales channels slowly take up more and more of the sales proportion, Nintendo will probably only keep 1 big office for the entire country in the future.

It's time, Nintendo was simply lazy with its Oled version.

People who are only aware of Sega arcades in Japan because one of their iconic arcade location closed should wake up...there are thousands of arcades across Japan, yet people think the very last of them closed.

Strange that these contestants while submitted a fantastic build but choose the base on an older game version. I think it would be more logic to base on Zelda/Link of Breath of the Wild instead of an earlier game version, same with Metroid since the last game (not Dread) was released more then a decade ago. Because I think both lego and nintendo would like to capture the younger fans instead of their parents.

Praising an almost 3 decade old game for being a perfect console port? I like the game but practically everything can run it perfectly nowadays.

PC emulation proofs Nintendo is being too lazy with the oled model.
Dread could have been the first official 4k Switch title if Nintendo wanted it.

Personally the Oled Switch system is just not what I expected, hoped for a faster system but got the same one with a better screen.
