One of the major Switch exclusives arriving this month is the Atlus RPG Shin Megami Tensei V. It's looking rather promising and ahead of the game's launch next week, there'll be an official live stream taking place. In fact, it'll be airing the night before the game's release, Japan time.
You'll be able to watch it over on YouTube - keep in mind, the stream is in Japanese. According to Atlus (via Gematsu), the broadcast will introduce 100 demons - with commentary from the development team, and will also share details about new merchandise. There'll be a Shin Megami Tensei series medley performed by a string quartet, too.
Atlus has been doing a lot of promotion leading up to this game's release. Last week, for example, we got a look at the "World in Ruins" trailer, which you can check out in our previous post. Here in the west, pre-orders for the game (arriving locally on 12th November) are available now - this includes a special launch edition for $59.99 USD.

I've been watching some of the demon reveals on Atlus' YouTube page. The design of the monsters is so detailed and creative.
Why can't it be the 12th already?
Already declared news blackout on anything SMT related. Just waiting for the release date. These past few weeks just feel so long lol
I get the feeling this is a Marmite game, you either loved it or hated it the first time you saw it. Pretty sure all these reveals are doing is ruining the game for the people that are getting it.
This game has been in development for an entire console generation.
I can't wait for it.
Really looking forward to this game. However, I dislike this new trend of revealing so much before release.
SMT5 releases next week so I'm staying away from anything SMT to avoid any possible spoilers
I've been jumping on any and every piece of info about this game, but I'm not gonna watch another stream, lol. I'd like to leave SOMETHING to the imagination this close to launch.
I’m just waiting on release day. I hope they got a ton of views though.
All I've taken in about the game outside the trailers are the 190+ article titles of demons in the game, which are religiously reported by Gematsu daily. I do not want to get more information about the game; I have already purchased it, and am ready to play come next week.
@MrGawain It's conflicting, I love SMT, but I stopped watching a lot of these trailers to avoid spoilers. Though I'm still glad they're actually trying to advertise it, I hope the game does well.
I still don't know how I feel about this game. It looks like they made smt 3 again with the mechanics lifted from 4 and a bit from persona 5. It just seems a little too safe. I mean, 3s a cult classic and all, but it 5 looks like they just made smt 3 again full stop. I mean, world ends in the first 20 minutes and you play in a desertified Tokyo as a half demon hybrid and by all accounts rely on environmental storytelling to piece together a sparse plot. Which game is that? I hope it does something to differentiate itself. I had problems with 4, but at least the story felt innovative and pushed the series.
