Re: Quiz: Which Of These Games Is On Switch?

@Magician 19/24
I got caught out on Overwatch to. Control was memorable because it was cloud only. There’s so much available now, I can’t think of any particular recent release I’d like to see.
On the retro front(16-bit era), Mortal Kombat hasn’t made an appearance yet. Compared to other franchises where games have been released on multiple collections. Sonic 2, Street Fighter etc.

I don’t think Nintendo could go wrong with GameBoy games for NSO. That’s a much beloved console. Would be good to kick things off with Goldeneye N64, hopefully this month.
As for new games that aren’t Zelda, maybe there could be a new 3D Mario. Donkey Kong has been absent for a while. There could be a third 2D game with a port of Wii DKC returns so the trilogy can be owned on Switch. Unless a 3D platformer is realised again for Donkey Kong.

Re: SEGA Announces The Mega Drive Mini 2, Boasting 50 Games

Was hoping this was going to be announced. The first mini console included Micky mouse games, castle / world of illusion. I wonder if Micky mania or other Disney games will be included. Mortal Kombat was big on the Mega drive but even with 3rd party on board, Sega may want to avoid giving the product a Pegi 16 rating.

I preordered this from GAME and it arrived this morning. The blue label is when the game is on the cart but an additional download is required. The orange label is for empty boxes with download code for the digital version. If that helps.
4 new outfits for Alex was the pre-order bonus.

Re: Retro: How A Remarkable Street Fighter Port Soured The Relationship Between Capcom And Nintendo

It’s good that as soon as Nintendo started using CDs with the GameCube, that Capcom would resume strong support. It seems like it took longer for Square Enix, less I’m mistaken.

There were some strong reasons for going with cartridges. For real time 3D games using polygons to run smoothly without load times. A Rare developer mentioned dynamic music as a benefit in an interview.
If the first 3D Mario and Zelda games would have been far less than what they were, then cartridges can be seen as a wise move. Is it possible that on CD, those games could have been as well realised?

DK mountain from the DS entry. Not sure if that was it’s name but it was covered with snow, so would look nice with an HD remaster.
They could also have a bowser castle collection as well. The N64 course is my favourite.
The wii entry was good but the metal half pipe wasn’t used well, as you were forced to trick of the edge to get through it. It would be better to have the racers drive down the middle. The boulder shot from the bowser statue would be more of an obstacle.
