@MattmanForever the charities are all administration fees. They give the cash money to the actual animals. They use it for bedding mostly and when the poachers come for the animals they steal the cash and leave the animals safe and sound. Everyone’s a winner 👍🏻

You think about yourself and I think about everything and everybody. You couldn’t possibly understand anything that isn’t serving you what you want. You lack the ability to see things from someone else’s point of view. You don’t know why people do things and wether these things are admirable or not so we cannot have a discussion because you lack the ability to discuss.

@Dang_69 I feel sad that you wouldn’t root for passionate teams of workers who want to create something special and I feel sad that you would set out to sabotage something potentially special by over reacting to the tiniest bit of information about it.
These reactions are common these days and I see them as needlessly dramatic and ill informed. An I don’t like this so I won’t buy it or a let’s see approach is rational.
You being outraged that a game you have no input in isn’t exactly how you want it to be isn’t rational.

I’m an old man who has waited for over 15 years for a new Metroid Prime game.
I’m going to remain calm until the game releases and I’m going to play it and I’m going to enjoy it.
I’m not going to do a deep dive on a tiny portion of the game and act outraged and disgusted that the game exists.
It’s a game that at one point seemed very unlikely due in part to the ridiculous fan reception of Metroid Other M.
That game was pretty fun if you skipped the cut scenes.

You don’t care how well the game sells and Nintendo really cares how well the game sell's. If you had spent £70 million of your money you too would care how the game sells 👍🏻

Metroid Prime sales have never been as good as the quality of the games. I believe a big reason for this is the isolation.
I completely understand the necessity to attract more casual players with a less oppressive atmosphere.
Hopefully they’ve hit on the perfect middle ground with this title as Metroid deserves more love and more games 👍🏻

@Willo567 I agree with you. People saying nonsense is annoying. What has clearly happened is the game and the dlc were planned from the start to be released separately. This is a money grabbing practice but it was known about before the game released. Game freak and Nintendo have been transparent about this. It is not an extra unexpected charge. So why do people make up their own narrative and act outraged?

@coolioam I think outlaws has done a much better job compressing data and using lower quality assets.
If you look at Maddens file size in comparison you will understand that you are comparing apples to oranges.

I’m going to take a punt on Mario Galaxy 3 being made for Mario’s 40th anniversary . I really don’t think it’ll just be another bunch of rereleased games.

It’s been brilliant. Backwards compatibility with improvements and actual 3rd party support with many more developers begging for development kits this is a console that you can safely invest in.
People just love moaning these days.

As a huge Daytona USA fan/Sega Saturn fan I find all this talk about fps the equivalent of a mass temper tantrum.
I agree that people who are sensitive to these things shouldn’t buy this game but the anger and betrayal shown about everything not running 60 fps these days is embarrassing. God help these people if they ever have a serious problem in their lives.

I was playing it last night and it’s a fun game. I was getting my arse kicked by some NXT guy who I’d never heard of.
There seems to be plenty to do outside of the micro transaction ridden online modes.
Also the offline modes easily surpass the classic late 90’s early 2000’s wrestling games content wise.

I would be gutted if mine is cancelled. But I would also be £440 pounds richer come the 5th of June with the knowledge that the Universe wants Me to buy a new garden strimmer instead.
I would then hate the Universe 👎

I’m very interested in Metroid Prime 4 multiplayer. I’m convinced that it’s gonna be a big deal.
You never really know what Nintendo are gonna announce next.
That’s why Direct’s are so exciting and often a touch disappointing.

The hundred line is a great game. I’m playing through the demo. I’m pleased to see the developers use every trick in the book to sell this game. It’s such a shame when a great game is overlooked due to bad or no marketing.
I decided that I’m going to buy it as soon as I saw a coffin drone and burst out laughing 😀

From the description it sounds rubbish as do all 3d Platformers. The magic is always in the gameplay. This one does sound especially rubbish mind 👍🏻

@karatekid1612 I would prefer physical but it’s becoming obvious that physical copies for games are on there way out much like DVD’s for Movies and CD’s for music have become relics.

It was about 5 years ago when talk of a Switch Pro started maybe longer. Switch 2 has been a long time coming….
but not long enough for all the crybabies who have boycotted it because Mario kart on cartridge costs £10 more than they expected.

It’s not coming to Switch 2 as it’s the most expensive game ever made and it’s been built for the most powerful systems available. It’s liable to be a multiplayer cash machine until at least 2036.
Please stop insulting our intelligence with the possibility of this releasing for Switch 2.

Most of these games wouldn’t be on Switch 2 carts if the prohibitive costs of having a memory card containing the game was cutting into publishers profits.
If the choice is more varied content with the same restrictions that Xbox and PlayStation have had for years or having every game on a cart. Then why would you not want people to have a choice?
You can still sell it for the next 5 years at least. I’m sick of all this fake outrage about something that is an industry norm.

@BTB20 true. Not the exact words. But he does say there is no right time to launch a games console before explaining that Nintendo chose to launch in the summer and the reasons why they chose the summer those reasons were summarised into one line by Me.
Other good reasons for a summer launch would be the competition not aggressively marketing their consoles like they do in the Christmas run in and a general lack of big games releasing in summer compared to the end of the year.
Either just say there is no right time or say summer is a great time. Or say the world is ready for Switch 2. That’s what Reggie would have said 👍🏻

@Suketoudara I think we all miss that duo. Reggie was so enthusiastic and a living mascot and Iwata’s honesty , transparency and lack of corporate jargon made him so interesting to listen to.

@johnedwin I’ve just started it and it’s story is pretty wacky. Otherwise it’s similar to Scarlet Grace. I absolutely love the battle system . I do wonder if the frame rate will improve on Switch 2 but being turn based the frame rate doesn’t really matter 👍🏻

I would like to see boss fights taking place while traversing dangerous areas of the open world. Actually I would be very surprised if this wasn’t the case.
They could have treasure maps with reskins and outfits as treasure.
They could cameos from other Nintendo franchises. They could do a lot of stuff they’ve likely been working on this for a good few years.

It looks like a dream come true console. Actual third party support with actual new third party games ( not special made for Nintendo rubbish games).
Also you have all the first party magic that you would expect all with the portability that made the Switch a success in the first place.
It’s a shame that it’s expensive but It’s absolutely amazing 😍

Many people bought a switch and maybe only bought a few games. Nearly everyone bought Mario Kart and many people played it for years and it works out at less than £50 extra if you get it downloaded on the console so the £80 or $90 price tag is irrelevant…. Yet it’s all anybody is talking about. Is everybody stupid or am I clever 😩

It looks amazing. I’m shocked that people think that it looks the same as Mario kart 8. I would recommend that said people need to get their eye sight checked as some things cannot be disputed and the fact is this looks better than Mario kart 8 and if you disagree you can’t see very well.

@Anakin I’ve also pre ordered from Shopto but the wording was a bit vague about if it was locked in or not.
I pre ordered the Switch from them mind and had no problems 😀

@OorWullie Yes. Mario cart looks unreal and F ZERO GX is one of My favourites that I’m terrible at unless I’ve played it for about 5 hours in a row. My old man reflexes really struggle with that one 😀
Fast fusion also looks amazing but I do hope the colour switching mechanic is removed. Ridge racer has always been a poor man’s Daytona but I still enjoy it and who doesn’t love Kirby 👍🏻

More expensive games but it’ll only matter for first party games as third party games tend to drop really quickly.
When you see how many game developers are going out of business it’s pretty obvious that prices need to go up.
If you don’t want to support your favourite developers wait for the price to drop and don’t complain when they go out of business 😀

@OorWullie the Switch has been awesome especially for old RPGs. I do hope the Switch 2 does the same with old racing games 👍🏻

Ridge racer Ds is My favourite Ridge Racer and it was apparently a port of this one so I’m looking forward to giving this a try.
I always found the PlayStation Ridge Racers had a floaty disconnect and that it controlled too well. I like to fight the controls a bit in racing games.

@Vivianeat I’ve got plenty of games backlogged also but unlike you I’m a sucker for short load times so I’ll be getting a Switch 2 for that. Now that I’ve typed that out it seems like an unnecessary expense…..

@Anti-Matter I watched Sonic 2 on the plane to America the other week and it was surprisingly good. I agree that the first movie wasn’t the best. I reckon 3 might be good after watching 2 👍🏻

It’s a great game. Improvements are always welcome. Claims that this game is average make Me want to scream.
