DQ 8 was one of the best PS2 games, played it almost as much Gran Turismo.

So us Andrpid folk get this newly annoinced Fire Emblem before we get Mario run...?

I would really like to see a Red Steel 3 or Zombi2 release for Switch. Both series had so much potential that just fell a little short. Dual handed shooter a la Red Steel seems like a perfect fit for those joy cons. I know that I am in the minority on this but I'm picturing aiming a la Resident Evil Chronicles with a full the range of analog control movement of mpdern shooters.

Really wish they had just taken a bit more time to release a full Mariokart 9 release but Splatoon and Zelda look amazing.

@BensonUii OMG an HD collection of Path of Radiance and Radiant would be amazing. Those are my favourite 2 Fire Emblem games.

It had ups and downs but was fairly good, that price though is just too high. Where are the launch titles?

So first the bad, where are all the launch games? Nintendo supposedly has learned from their mistakes to not launch a console with a paper thin lineup. We all know Zelda is going to rock but what else is there? That price is high, $400 Canadian without a game is off-putting. Nintendo has to be making mint off of each console. Where the heck is Metroid, Fzero, Punchout, Excitebike/truck and the other dorment franchises that we as fans clamour for.

So now the good, hardware looks quite nice, cool tech, future games look great, Mario, Xeno 2, Skyrim.

I feel quite mixed about this, unless Nintendo is hiding a ton of unannounced, early release games I feel they will not do as well as they could have. I will pick up a Switch but not until at least holidy 2017.

Am I the only one that thought this game was Soul Axiom Verge?

.2 million NES classics were sold, that's how many Nintendo made, are you kidding me? They could have sold 2 million on launch day alone.

Taking preorders on a product is generally the best way to anticipate demand for it. This one definitely seems like a misstep on their part.

Just give me Fire Emblem and Pokemon, then a Xenoblade sequel please.

Would really love it if Switch could this kind of momentum. Even if Pokemon Start came.next fall it could lead to massive sales of.Switch. Pokemon is coming to Switch without question, the only question is when it does.

Ok so this rumour I hope is true, we'll except for the no Zelda at launch. How long do they need for this Zelda?

Is anyone surprised by the lack of sales for wither Paper Mario Or Metroid federation force? If you do the exact opposite of what fans are asking you to do, don't expect the game to do gangbusters.

@evenflow403 AM2R is one of those times where Nintendo should just pay for it and put it out on VC.

So the Metroid game that noone asked for or wanted, plus it received tons of hate, didn't sell well. So does that mean that Nintendo can pull it's combined head out of its butt and perhaps actually listen to what the fans want out of them? Federation Force could have been cool as an online shooter for Wii U, sort of a Halo vibe you know.

I'm glad this kickstarted game seems to be up to the standard that fans expect, can't wait to play it.

I'm getting an NX regardless so I'm not the market they need to target. This time though I think Nintendo needs to get their collective heads out of their butts. If NX launches with anywhere near the same capabilities/power of the Wii U, the NX will flop. The NX doesn't need to do 4k gaming but it has to do no less than the PS4 at a bare minimum. They need to stop trying to reinvent the wheel, wheels are still run on cars, no one has flying cars yet. If they have somehow thought of some gimmicks that actually grabs people's attention and becomes an industry standard innovation then great. I just don't hold much hope for something like that, I love my Wii U but after 4 years they still haven't proven to the mainstream why they NEED it. That is marketing 101, find the consumers need and fill it.
