Looks so good and will fill an F-Zero sized hole but faster than F-ZERO GX it is not. Still nice and fast though so I'm not complaining. I'm hoping to b u at midnight
Nintendo really needs to spend some of that cash in the bank, either on purchasing more developers of just hiring more. They can't currently handle development for 2 consoles at the same time.
If development kits are just going out now, I'm certain that NX releases in 2017 not 2016. This about it for a second, how will it have third party support at launch given a single year of development. However 2 full years and third parties could be coming out the wazoo
I've said all along that the best thing Nintendo do can do for themselves is expand all of their studios and or purchase others. Their content is unparalleled in the industry
Is anyone really surprised by this? It's a tragedy that he lost such a sweet job but his comments came off very negatively. We all know how Nintendo likes to remain positive with any Public Relations.
This all depends on what NX is revealed to be, could be a Nintendo phone for all we know. I am 100% certain that Vita is Sony's last handheld though, really can't see them ever trying to launch another one.
@Wolfgabe the did get $400 million for Rare, can't say Microsoft has made that investment back though. This game compilation should make a good dent though.
This does look like a great compilation, it's really quite sad what Rare has become since Nintendo do sold them. Microsoft didn't even trust them with the Killer Instinct revival
@Kirk I can agree with most of your argument, however, stating that ZombiU in anyway pushed the Wiiu on a graphical level is plain comical. I would go as far as to say that the graphics in ZombiU are barely bett er than Resident Evil 4 for Gamecube. Even Metroid Prime looks better than ZombiU. I thoroughly enjoyed ZombiU and my only issues with it were the glitches, the under par graphics and the lack of consistency with the cricket bat damage. I had a game breaking glitch right at the end of the game on my first playthrough and the cricket bat would explode a Zombies head in one hit sometimes while taking as much as 8 hits on another. Oh and the glitch I experienced was not being able to use manholes after I dow load/uploaded the cure at the end of the game and died.
It didn't look like a straight port to me, I noticed some melee weapons not found in the original. Graphically the same though, too bad as they needed a remaster not port.
What Nintendo either doesn't understand or fails to recognize, is that the fan anger is based less on what this games is or us not and more based on them announcing this and not a sequel to any known Metroid series. People would have been much more welcoming if either a sequel to Prime or Super Metroid had been announced in tandem with this game. I don't have a preference to 2D or 3D Metroid as long as they make another one and soon. Nintendo do waits far to long between releases of games not titled Mario.
I'd rather the controller be a Bluetooth shell that you snap the phone into. I already have one like it in the shape of a 360 controller and it works quite well.
Crash 'N' the boys street challenge was both overlooked and excellent. As long as they do the IP justice I want them to make all of the old Techno games.
The only problem ZombiU ever had was being rushed, don't know how the graphics will land with PS4 XBone owners. They weren't exactly pushing the Wiiu hardware so I wonder if they are planning on upgrading them? How much does that cost vs how much can they sell?
@BinaryFragger for example, can't play Mario 64 without an analog stick, the ds port had terrible control. Can't play Wii Sports without the Wii mote. F-Zero GX and the analog triggers. I will admit that Nintendo has really messed up proving why the gamepad is appealing with the Wii U. I do agree that the games are more important than the hardware but my point was that Nintendo innovates games by innovating hardware. They just forgot to actually do it this gen
@bluedogrulez I understand your sentiment but I disagree. The new super Mario series hasn't really changed much in a long time but they still make them. F-Zero is a game that fans are clamoring for, same with Metroid. Nintendo's refusal to provide these fans with what they want is both maddening and concerning. I love Nintendo but sometimes they make ridiculously bad decisions, Wii U second screen isn't one of them but failing to prove why it is necessary is. ZombiU is still the best use of the second screen and that was a 3rd party launch game.
@rjejr if Nintendo goes 3rd party I'll stop playing video games entirely. The whole point of Nintendo games is that the are created for the hardware concept of the system they are on. Albeit that they have been much more conservative in that approach lately but that's neither here nor there.
While this E3 wasn't reassuring that Wii U will have a life beyond next year, it didn't spell the doom that thus article is fabricating. Knowing Nintendo, they will show NX at next year's E3 only to release it in holiday 2017. What they do to fill the gap between now and then is the real issue. Nintendo held their cards close to their chest for a long time but recently have been much more open. I'm hoping they can surprise us in the next 6-12 months, otherwise Wii U's future does not bode well.

Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 4 - 2006-2010
Maybe I'm wrong here but I'm pretty sure that Snorlax's pre-evolution is Munchlax not Deoxys.

Re: Eiji Aonuma Talks Linkle's Origins and Appearance in Hyrule Warriors Legends
Let us pick between Link or Linkle at the start of Zelda in the same manner that Pokémon asked if you are a boy or girl.
Re: FAST Racing NEO Release Date and Pricing Speed Into View
I just hope this games sells well enough to show Nintendo how much we're missing F-Zero.
