Re: Skies Of Arcadia Dev "Really" Wants To Make A Sequel

eRaz0r

Best RPG from SEGA of all time ... my Top 3: Skies of Arcadia, Grandia 2 and Phantasy Star Online <3

1 and 3 need a remake ;D Grandia 2 is already out on Switch <3

Dreamcast was like WiiU - So many AAA First Party Games on there, to push sales ... If the WiiU were more succesful, we might never saw Games like Splatoon or Bayonetta2. Like SEGA in the past, Nintendo tried to push the console with high quality games (shenmue, skies, rez, the sonic adventure series, pso on dreamcast / splatoon, tokio mirage, 3dworld and more on wiiu) but on both sides, that sadly didn't worked out as much as it should.

hope sega will port those gems someday over to switch as part of the sega ages lineup

PS: sorry for my bad english, it'S early in the morning, i need coffee hahaha

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? (January 11th)

eRaz0r

honestly, i am having still dead by daylight fever hahaha 1k hours and counting ... but i wanna start botw again . bought the season pass finally during the christmas sale - but everytime i start my switch, i end up playing dbd xD . and tetris 99 of course ;D also bought the big block dlc and i try to unlock every theme with those stupid tickets hehe

Re: Switch Named Most Fragile Product Of The Year By French Consumer's Association

eRaz0r

My 1 1/2 year old black joy con (L), which wasn't used that often (pro controller ftw) - startet to crack while using the stick. something inside is kinda "blocking" while moving .... i have used the joy con probably 100 times in these 500 days since i bought this replacement switch.

even my pro controller's stick is in a really bad condition. the plastic around the stick is horribly frayed. and i am carefully using my hardware ... i love the switch and it's hardware, but at the same time i hate it'S build quality, which is really low .... especially if you think about the price tag!

for me, it seems like nintendo tried to compensate the HIGH loss with their wii u system ... produce cheaper, sell more expensive, to fill their bank account ;P the wii u pro controller was higher quality, than the switch's one ...

70bucks for the pro, 77+ for the joy cons ... (€) - my 38€ xbox 360 for windows controller from 2006(!!!!) is in a better condition than the 1 year old pro controller .... and i'm using the xbox 360 pad daily since 13 years now ...

i really hope the quality from the switch lite's built-in joy cons is higher ... if my light is starting to freak out in a couple of months - i'll say bye bye nintendo hardware and hello sony hahaha ;D

Re: Switch Could Enjoy An Extended Lifespan And Even Outsell The Nintendo Wii, Claim Analysts

eRaz0r

Since Switch is my last Video-Game console (xbox se(x) and ps5 does not interesst me in any way - i've never cared less about an console launch) i would be happy, if we can get a 10+ years lifespan. switch is all i need, i have even sold my xbox one a couple of days ago, because for 99,999% of my time, i only play on switch. and in 10 years, i am 45 years old, so who knows if i am still interessted in "new" technology. all i can say is, that i hate "realistic" graphics in games. that's why i prefer japanese games anyways. i prefer colorful - graphics and good gameplay, over realistic "pew pew pew" games that's why xbox was the fail system of this generation for me.

For example Shenmue 3 - i love that game. It's "new" with pretty graphics, but still - not realistic. Everything is colorful, humans look like a mix of realistic and anime - style. that's what i like

Re: Review: Super Monkey Ball: Banana Blitz HD - Improved Controls Ruined By Some Odd Design Choices

eRaz0r

@RupeeClock Not only ps2 & gamecube, also on psp.

but even SMB 1&2 were available on XBOX and PS2 - called Super Monkey Ball Deluxe - Basically SMB2 with a lot of SMB1 level as an extra.

https://twitter.com/raz0r84/status/1188855909595914240

btw. i've got the game day 1 - sure it isn'T as good as smb 2 - but still a great game (the main game) - mini games like snowboarding are litterally trash - but the main game is awesome. i'm lonving it.

i just cannot understand, why they haven't included monkey bowling or billiard ... those were my fav. mini-games in the series. especially bowling, which i have played more often than the main game on gamecube hahaha

and i don't know why people complaing about the price tag - there's games out there, which are maybe worth 15 bucks, but they cost 60 bucks, for example zelda links awakening. in my oppinion that game is a 4 / 10 game and not worth more than 15 bucks.

Re: Review: Dead By Daylight - Fun Online Horror Action That's Ugly And Expensive On Switch

eRaz0r

i really love the game on switch. i also have the pc and xbox version. pc, of course, is the best one - the switch version does look like the initial release from the xbox one back in 2017. and for a unreal engine 4 game, it is impressive in my opinion. look how ugly fortnite looks and runs on switch, especially the shadow - draw distance in front of your face - or the upcoming dauntless - ugly af - same engine. behaviour did an awesome job, and i'll bet they will improve the graphics over time, now that also the mobile version is out (beta). but i really think, it is the best looking UE4 engine game on switch so far and runs way better, than the first release on xbox one back in 2017 ... on xbox that game had massive fps issues - very often below 20 fps all the time - switch version runs mainly at stable 30. and for a 35€ game, that is pretty good. the dlc prices are expensive, but the good thing is, you don't have to buy them. or not all of them. most of the dlc survivors you can unlock with ingame - currency, which you earn from playing the game. that will take a while, but it is possible. 2 weeks out - 150 hours played already on switch and i am loving it sure alot of bugs there, but they are on all plattforms hahaha

Re: Rumour: Switch Port Specialist Virtuos Believed To Be Working On Alan Wake Remake

eRaz0r

i already have it on steam and xbox 360, but would be awesome to play alan wake on switch too - reach more people.

hopefully the "real" alan wake, if the rumor is true and not the bad american nightmare XBOX Arcade game .... that was horrible.

i just hope for a second game, to finish the story! alan wake is and was the last good remedy game for me .... i've played quantum break ...but meh ---mediocre. the new game - no interest in playing it - but gimme alan wake back and i'm happy

Re: GRID Autosport Speeds Onto Switch On September 19th

eRaz0r

5 years ago, feral interactive did also port this game over to linux! they're doing an awesome job with these windows ports. the game runs great on linux & mac - so i guess it will be as good as possible on switch too.

they've also ported tomb raider (1st one and rise of), dirt rally, dirt 4 and more titles to linux. so my guess is - if this game does well, maybe we'll see also tomb raider in future on our little number 1 console ;D

i would buy rise of the tomb raider or shadow of the tomb raider on day 1 - go feral go!!! <3

Re: Poll: How Would You Like To See Dreamcast Classics Arrive On Switch?

eRaz0r

@Tandoori Yes, Logo, package and games where all in blue.

because a company in germany (afaik) did have the "same" logo as the dreamcast with the same orange color. so sega made theirs blue in europe, to avoid legal problems.

https://twitter.com/raz0r84/status/1170729384799551490/photo/1

but i loved the blue color - i mean, sega's logo is blue. sonic is blue, so the blue swirl was a perfect fit ^^

Re: The Switch Version Of GRID Autosport Will Support GameCube Controllers

eRaz0r

I think i will pass on this one. i've already bought it 2015 for linux. feral did also the linux port of this game - it's awesome, but not worth to buy it again on switch.

but they did an awesome job on linux - the game looks absolutely gorgeous on linux with ultra settings.
so i am looking forward to the switch version beeing also excellent.

but i was hoping, to get dirt rally 2 on switch instead .... this game is just too old to let me buy it again, especially when i have it already.
the linux port from dirt rally 1 is also from feral - so they have experience with porting codemasters games from windows to other operating systems / consoles ;D

they did also the alien isolation port from SEGA for linux ... another game i won't buy again (already have it on linux and xbox one ...) but at least "we" know, the games are in good hands - feral interactive is just awesome when i comes to ports of games.

Re: SpeedRunners Is Finally Racing Onto The Nintendo Switch

eRaz0r

I just hope the port is better than the xbox one version, because of aweful online lag ... basically no online game possible - no NAT problems, constant 75mbits <- only speedrunners had problems on my xbox. i loved to play the game on my linux pc system - no problems there with the same internet connection.

let's hope they'll release a demo ... i don't need another "mario maker 2" lag - fest (even with usb lan adapter mostly unplayable hahaha) - mario kart, warframe and other games - no problems there ...

Re: Elder Scrolls Online Director Says The Nintendo Switch Isn't "Powerful Enough" To Run The Game

eRaz0r

I guess the Switch will be strong enough, but the crappy Game & Engine isn't ready for such Hardware.

To be honstest - Other Online Games like Warframe or DC Universe are awesome on Switch.

But even if the Graphic on ESO is REALLY dated, the game still runs like poo on XBOX One S. Framedrops to below 15 alot of times. So it might be an Engine / Gamecode Problem, rather than the lack of Hardware power ..

I mean, the xbox one does have alot of crappy ports with bad framerate, but we all know how "powerfull" the xbox one can be, if treated right. like the switch. the ESO engine is an unoptimized PC thing... and they still struggle to get it right on xbox (probably also on ps4). so, it's better they skip that lagging mess on switch

Re: Microsoft Reiterates That It Would Like To See Xbox Game Pass On Other Platforms

eRaz0r

i bet they'll wait until xcloud is ready for the public and then try to bring it even to the switch. just a simple 3mb app ... and all the games are playable over streaming. if that is the future, i will refuse to buy any new game console ;D i always wanted to complete or "restart" my sega saturn libary. so if streaming is the future, my future are retro console collections only ;D

Re: Poll: Have You Ever Had Problems With Nintendo Hardware?

eRaz0r

SNES - R-Button Problems - even with brand new controllers.

N64 - 4 Controllers - 4 Dead Analog Sticks

Gamecube - 5 Controller, 3 of them had L&R Button Problems after a couple of months.

Switch - After 1 Year the joy con batteries last only about 7 hours. i haven't used them often! probably 20 times in that year.

Pro Controller - really bad and spongy d-pad ... also L&R Button problems and a really loud clickin' ZR Button. And also the battery only lasts 10 to 15 hours since the beginning! Nintendo refused to exchange it ....

My new neon green and neon pink joy con set does have really sharp edges on the "dpad". so a fabrication error more or less - cheap plastic.

the only company where i never had any issues, not matter how old the hardware is, is SEGA. even my 21 year old dreamcast runs and plays game like it's brandnew (the dead batterie inside is an exception - but that's normal after over 20 years ...)

Re: Sickhead Games Helped Out With The Grandia HD Collection

eRaz0r

i wonder why they refuse to tell us the price .... maybe a bad sign? but because i have grandia 2 already remstatered on steam and the original - working - dreamcast version - i wouldn't pay more than 30 bucks for the collection. i have already played grandia 1 on saturn back in 1997, bought the ps-vita ps1 port ... so if it is more expensive than 30bucks for both games - no buy ...

but i believe, because they don't wanna talk about the price tag on twitter, i guess it will be way more expensive ...

Re: New Banjo-Kazooie Merch Fuels Fresh Speculation Over A Series Revival

eRaz0r

Banjo Kazooie was awesome. So much better than Mario 64. I've finished it more than 50 times haha. But Banjo - Tooie ... I haven't finished it a single time. Don't know why, but the Second Game wasn't really good at all. Especially if you compare it to the first game.

and since microsoft bought rare - every banjo game was basically golden crap ;P

But i don't think i would rebuy them on switch ... have the "16:9 remasters" already on xbox 360/one. Good game, but not worth to spend money on it again .... And a new game? Rare isn't rare anymore - see Sea of Thieves. SoT is a nice game, but has nothing to do with the masterpieces from rare, we saw 20 years ago (DKC1,2,3, Goldeneye, Banjo...)

Re: Hands On: Building Upon A Solid Foundation In Super Mario Maker 2

eRaz0r

@Galarian_Lassie sure i have, everything on master system, mega drive, and even today - sonic mania, cuphead. but those games are both at 20bucks, that's a fair price. to pay full price for this minigame, just don't feels right for me.

but if you enjoy it, it's awesome. for me it is just like a 10 bucks android minigame.

and btw. i would never touch activision crap like cod the only good games acitivsion has ever released, was the THPS series.
