@retro_player_22 transformed on wii u was like all the other console versions 25 to 30 fps. only pc had 60+ fps.
team sonic racing on switch does have NO framedrops, much better visuals and buttery smooth 30 fps. so much better than transformed on wii u or xbox 360.
Who cares? i have bought the game 3 times, switch, xbox and pc. and on xbox and pc i always skip the intro as fast as possible. just annoying.
the game on switch is awesome! who cares about a stupid video? graphics are absolutely great on switch, best racing game graphics so far (besides the framerate, absolutely no difference between xbox one) - the visuals just looking awesome on switch and the game is hella fun!
@Godlike_Virus but, the crush 40 song is playing in time trial mode. idk if it is a bug or if sega just wanted to save costs for the cartrige. on xbox the game has 20GB, on switch it'S 8 gb according to the eshop. they could just have put the intro in an extra download, maybe it is just a bug. but - i for myself, really don't care. the game is great and makes so much more fun than mario kart 8. see ya online
i have bought the switch and xbox one version. and to be honest - i preffer the switch version! the xbox one version has serious fps issues - framedrops from 60 to 25 sometimes. so it is not a fluid 60 fps experience, where the switch holds the 30 without any issues. a friend with the one x can play that game in 4k with rock solid 60 fps, but not on the xbox one s. also the lighting and shadow effects are better on switch than on the normal xbox for whatever reason. - switch version is my love for now steam version is comming soon to - but after i have bought the game already twice for 40 bucks each, i will wait for a sale on the pc version haha - but - i frkn love this game. not as good as transformed, but still a great game, especially for only 40 bucks

@Franklin i don'T know where you are from, but as far as i know, this game has region lock for the online multi. i bought my copy for 30€ on amazon a few months ago (think it was in january) - since then, i NEVER could find a online match. the longest time i waited 45 minutes ... i only bought that game, for online play ... same problem with worms, uno, trials (kind of - never full lobby, nly 1 or 2 others), that futuristic racer (forgot the name), grip, monopoly, trivial pursuit and many more ... only 5 of my 48 games i own, are good for online gaming - mk8, diablo 3, smash bros, rocket league (only with xbox or pc players - switch only takes also at least 5 minutes of wait time lol) and fortnite ... all others games are basically dead at launch. at least in europe. that's why i canceled my dead by daylight preorder on switch. its an online only game, where you need 5 players. even on xbox its sometimes hard, to find a quick match, so i guess it will be impossible on switch.... nintendo consoles and online play = baaaaaad. sadly ...
i am not satisfied with that service ... ok just 20 bucks, but all online games i wanna play, are basically dead (worms, uno, mario tennis - in my region, thanks alot nintendo to region lock that game, monopoly, even warframe EU servers are basically dead and that game is free 2 play and does not need an nintendo online membership subscription(!) and many more ...) i even canceled my preorder for dead by daylight, because i am afraid that game is dead at launch, due to the low members. i don't wanna waste 50 bucks for a game, i "probably" could not play, because its online only. i am not interested in nes, never liked that system ... we need at least snes and a friendslist/messaging system! it sucks that you cannot even write messages to your friends or join their game inside that list. no wonder why no one wants to subscribe. even such games like trials rising are "dead". everytime i search for a playlist, with luck it sends me to a lobby with 1 or 2 other players after 4 minutes. never had a full lobby in that game. online & switch = ouch. i will keep my preorder for team sonic racing,because it does have an offline / story mode too, but i guess i will need to buy that game twice on steam or xbox, to enjoy the multiplayer. but we will see .... i wish it would be a NAT problem, but nope - my switch does have open NAT, so it is also no internet connection problem. i openend all ports ... just no one wants to play online games on switch, besides mario kart or splatoon ;P
@yandman i don't think they will need "months". every sega ages game came basically at the same time in all regions. only phantasy star took 3 more weeks outside of japan.
i don't wanna mess around with accounts and region settings. also, i have no credit card i have still not finished alex kidd and: 16 not played switch games including xenoblade, shining resonance, valkyria chronicles and much more. in aprox. 2 weeks saints row gets delivered and in 3 to 4 weeks i will get team sonic racing .... argh - game overkill hahaha. but ... i have enough games to keep me entertained for the next 2 years on switch hahaha. so, i can def. wait 2~4 weeks, for the worldwide release of virtua racing.
can'T wait for the EU release! i remember, when i was a child, maybe 8 years old - i was stunned when i played this game in a local arcade. and i was so happy, when i got this expensive beast for my mega drive played the poo out of it - even when i was really bad and never made it in time to the finish hahaha. but wow - even on the mega drive, that game had so much better graphics than starwing (star fox for our american readers )
the 3d rendered "flying" sega logo alone, when you started the game - and i still get goose bumps - good memories ... and great game back then.
All i want from EA is Mirrors Edge or Mirrors Edge Catalyst on switch. Haven't bought a game from EA since Catalyst. No interesst in fifa or online only multiplayer shooters.

I never had a NES, i never liked the NES ... compared to the master system, the NES "graphics" hurts my eyes .... such an limited color pallet. i am a nintendo online user since day 1, but i have only started the NES app twice ... played the first world of mario bros 3 and stopped ... back in the 90s, i have first played mario bros 3 on snes (super mario all stars remake) - snes was my first nintendo TV console - i grew up with all sega systems, started in 1987 with the master system, all i've had from nintendo till that day, was a gameboy. but i was always playing game gear instead... good old times. but i wish i could play that snes remake version ... probably soon, if snes games are ever coming. maybe nintendo switches the plattform every year ...so in october, when switch online has birthday, we'll get a new system. i hope so ... snes games are fun to play even today .... but NES ... nope. master system, in my oppinion is still "better" for today, because it had more colorful games. but to see "mario bros 3" in those ugly brown / black / green color tone ... c'mon nintendo, give us 16bit games! i neeeeeeed 256 colors

Panic Button for Switch is, what Feral Interactive is for Linux ;D Ferals did native Ports from serveral Codemasters racing games, dead island, Hitman, Deus Ex , Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and more for Linux. Panic Button should team up with feral and port those games too ;D (Grid is coming to switch already, but Tomb Raider would be awesome too <3)
i still need to play it .... my switch died after 170hours in breath of the wild, due to an system update, before the cloud startet ... right before i could beat the end boss ... now i struggle to play it again, but when, i think i will use that glitch to make it easier hahaha
@Medic_alert yeah the gpu is much more powerfull, but not the cpu. like in the wii u - modern gpu - crap cpu. switch has a much better cpu than wii u had, but compared to the 360, the switch has less cpu power. that does not mean, that it is impossible to convert games (we've seen alot good games, like warframe now), but it's a lot harder to port such games, like forza, when they were programmed, to use all the power PC - Cell CPU cores on 360. (360's cpu was also a cell ibm powerpc processor, like in the ps2/3)
the wii u had a pimped GAMECUBE(!) cpu, like the wii had ... but basically the same chip, who was created in 1999/2000. really old and weak
but the cpu is the reason, why so many games cannot even stay at 720p in docked mode. or else we have stutters / lags. tegra is a good chip, but not on par with the old xbox power pc chip. gpu power isn't everything
best place since release was 3rd, but not over last weekend ... my best place last weekend was 4th ... average 8~12th place. no money for me then ;D but the game is fun, even without being a winner haha
they should at least port the "handsome jack collection" - borderlands 2 & pre sequel. but no matter what, i don't think, i will buy it (again) .... i bought it already for xbox 360, xbox one, pc, psvita (worst version ever - stuttering / crashes / 5fps ). it's a fun and awesome game, but to buy it the 5th time lol. no thx
@blecch it was planed to create cam enabled / gesture controlled games for dreameye, but beside video/voicechat in games, no games were released for the camera, due to the "bad" dreamcast sales. and unfortunately, sega never released the camera outside of japan, even it was planed, to release it worldwide.
all we've got in europe, was the microphone, to "party chat" during online gaming.
@elpardo1984 me neither i have installed it, but haven't played it since july hahahaha. i was playing it alot on xbox and when i got my second switch in july, i played it for 2~3 weeks. but i got bored and now it is installed, so i am be able to play, but i don'T like the performance on switch. it lags too much - stupid unreal 4 engine. not really well optimized ... even on pc, thats the engine with the most performance issues ... sadly, more and more companys are using it
@elpardo1984 why? many ppl. already wrote this, but you're still be able to party up with xbox one / pc / ps4 players manually. only when you play solo with automatic matchmaking, you're only be able to play against mobile players. but if someone from your epic account friends on xbox one invites you to a lobby, you can still join and play with them in a squad
@fafonio i have it, trust me and luigi u is more like a modification, rather than a "seperate" game. and yes i prefer every sonic game over 2d mario. and new smb is the worst game ever made in my opinion, but like always - everyone likes other things glad you like that short flash game with cancer music
sadly i bought it digitaly, to get that stupid 6€ eshop cashback thing. if i bought it retail, i could sell it at least. maybe the coop is fun, but no friend of mine likes mario, or plattform games in general haha
i will stay with mario odyssey. also a short game, but way better than 2d mario games. at least the "new" ones. mario world 2 - yoshis island is a masterpiece, even when it is not really a mario, rather than a yoshi game
@BenAV it's not as "good" as other 3d sonic's, like sonic unleashed, sonic colors or sonic adventure 1 & sonic adventure 2 on sega dreamcast, but it is way better than sonic lost world or sonic generations (i hated generations ... bad controls)
but the best games are still his old mega drive games, especially sonic 3 & knuckles, followed by sonic mania.
but i've enjoyed all his games. the only game i have never played is sonic boom, but i never had a wii u ... so ;P

but yeah, i never would call forces a bad game. it was short and the music from the classic sonic stages is horrible, but for 40 bucks its a decent game with 8 hours of playtime. and i am still playing it, collecting all the items for the avatar. especially the OST is great

I love all his games, even sonic forces was a great game (way too short), but it was priced 39 bucks new, so who cares. only the classic sonic stages where horrible.

I've played the Trials Stresstest Demo, so i know about the graphics The fact is, Switch could do more. It's just a "fast" port, like most of Ubisofts games (sadly).
i am not supporting this. no matter if it is ubisoft/ea/sega, whatsoever. is the port bad or rushed, no money that's why i don't preorder games like mortal combat or saints row ...first i wanna see REAL ingame graphics, before i decide if a "new" games looks worse than some others on switch, i won't buy it. what the switch can do, you can see with games like warframe. absolutely stunning graphics, like on xbox one. sure less fps and unsharper textures, but overall - a great port. trials does not look good in my opinnion.
and even ubisoft has tried to fool people, while putting some xbox screenshots on the eshop, instead of real switch ones ...
At least Ubisoft exchanged the "wrong" eshop photos for trials (xbox one / ps4 / pc screens), and replaced them with the ugly, shadowless switch ones xD
trials may be a good game, but the team behind this port, did a bad job ...switch could handle better graphics, so no buy for me. not that i need graphics (my fav. game on switch is still an old mega drive game ), normally i don't care about graphics, but only, if the port is well made. and it seems, ubisoft didn't do a great job, porting trials over to switch ...

@able_to_think press and hold menu + start inside the store app. this will open up a menu, where you can disable video autoplay
but yes, i'll agree with your other complains ... the xbox OS (windows 10) is slow, laggy and buggy as h***, like on pc that's why i have 8.1 and 10 in a dualboot config on pc, but mainly using 8.1 for games ;P 10 only for play anywhere titles or dx12 exclusives.

Panic Button for Switch is, what Feral Interactive is for Linux ;D Ferals did native Ports from serveral Codemasters racing games, dead island, Hitman, Deus Ex , Tomb Raider, Rise of the Tomb Raider and more for Linux. Panic Button should team up with feral and port those games too ;D (Grid is coming to switch already, but Tomb Raider would be awesome too <3)

i still need to play it .... my switch died after 170hours in breath of the wild, due to an system update, before the cloud startet ... right before i could beat the end boss ... now i struggle to play it again, but when, i think i will use that glitch to make it easier hahaha

@Medic_alert yeah the gpu is much more powerfull, but not the cpu. like in the wii u - modern gpu - crap cpu. switch has a much better cpu than wii u had, but compared to the 360, the switch has less cpu power. that does not mean, that it is impossible to convert games (we've seen alot good games, like warframe now), but it's a lot harder to port such games, like forza, when they were programmed, to use all the power PC - Cell CPU cores on 360. (360's cpu was also a cell ibm powerpc processor, like in the ps2/3)
the wii u had a pimped GAMECUBE(!) cpu, like the wii had ... but basically the same chip, who was created in 1999/2000. really old and weak
but the cpu is the reason, why so many games cannot even stay at 720p in docked mode. or else we have stutters / lags. tegra is a good chip, but not on par with the old xbox power pc chip. gpu power isn't everything

@blecch it was planed to create cam enabled / gesture controlled games for dreameye, but beside video/voicechat in games, no games were released for the camera, due to the "bad" dreamcast sales. and unfortunately, sega never released the camera outside of japan, even it was planed, to release it worldwide.
all we've got in europe, was the microphone, to "party chat" during online gaming.

@elpardo1984 me neither i have installed it, but haven't played it since july hahahaha. i was playing it alot on xbox and when i got my second switch in july, i played it for 2~3 weeks. but i got bored and now it is installed, so i am be able to play, but i don'T like the performance on switch. it lags too much - stupid unreal 4 engine. not really well optimized ... even on pc, thats the engine with the most performance issues ... sadly, more and more companys are using it

@elpardo1984 why? many ppl. already wrote this, but you're still be able to party up with xbox one / pc / ps4 players manually. only when you play solo with automatic matchmaking, you're only be able to play against mobile players. but if someone from your epic account friends on xbox one invites you to a lobby, you can still join and play with them in a squad

@fafonio i have it, trust me and luigi u is more like a modification, rather than a "seperate" game. and yes i prefer every sonic game over 2d mario. and new smb is the worst game ever made in my opinion, but like always - everyone likes other things glad you like that short flash game with cancer music
sadly i bought it digitaly, to get that stupid 6€ eshop cashback thing. if i bought it retail, i could sell it at least. maybe the coop is fun, but no friend of mine likes mario, or plattform games in general haha
i will stay with mario odyssey. also a short game, but way better than 2d mario games. at least the "new" ones. mario world 2 - yoshis island is a masterpiece, even when it is not really a mario, rather than a yoshi game

@BenAV it's not as "good" as other 3d sonic's, like sonic unleashed, sonic colors or sonic adventure 1 & sonic adventure 2 on sega dreamcast, but it is way better than sonic lost world or sonic generations (i hated generations ... bad controls)
but the best games are still his old mega drive games, especially sonic 3 & knuckles, followed by sonic mania.
but i've enjoyed all his games. the only game i have never played is sonic boom, but i never had a wii u ... so ;P
his best 3d plattform game from the past years, in my oppinion is unleashed, followed by forces.
best other game is sonic & all stars transformed. i frkn love that game on pc (xbox 360 version is bad, due to framerate issues)
hope team sonic racing will be as good as transformed
but yeah, i never would call forces a bad game. it was short and the music from the classic sonic stages is horrible, but for 40 bucks its a decent game with 8 hours of playtime. and i am still playing it, collecting all the items for the avatar. especially the OST is great
for me, the most horrible game in the past 10 years was new super mario bros u deluxe ... omg ...for a 60€ priced game ...it's short, it looks ugly, like a flash game ... that is what i call a bad game, even when i bought it hahaha. and the music ... ear cancer alarm hahaha. i def. prefer the 3d mario games like galaxy or sunshine .... i will never buy a 2d mario again xD

I love all his games, even sonic forces was a great game (way too short), but it was priced 39 bucks new, so who cares. only the classic sonic stages where horrible.
but i'm not gonna watch this movie, if sonic looks like this when it comes out .... no ....never ....it'S like the crappy super mario film from the 80s hahaha

I've played the Trials Stresstest Demo, so i know about the graphics The fact is, Switch could do more. It's just a "fast" port, like most of Ubisofts games (sadly).
i am not supporting this. no matter if it is ubisoft/ea/sega, whatsoever. is the port bad or rushed, no money that's why i don't preorder games like mortal combat or saints row ...first i wanna see REAL ingame graphics, before i decide if a "new" games looks worse than some others on switch, i won't buy it. what the switch can do, you can see with games like warframe. absolutely stunning graphics, like on xbox one. sure less fps and unsharper textures, but overall - a great port. trials does not look good in my opinnion.
and even ubisoft has tried to fool people, while putting some xbox screenshots on the eshop, instead of real switch ones ...

At least Ubisoft exchanged the "wrong" eshop photos for trials (xbox one / ps4 / pc screens), and replaced them with the ugly, shadowless switch ones xD
trials may be a good game, but the team behind this port, did a bad job ...switch could handle better graphics, so no buy for me. not that i need graphics (my fav. game on switch is still an old mega drive game ), normally i don't care about graphics, but only, if the port is well made. and it seems, ubisoft didn't do a great job, porting trials over to switch ...

@able_to_think press and hold menu + start inside the store app. this will open up a menu, where you can disable video autoplay
but yes, i'll agree with your other complains ... the xbox OS (windows 10) is slow, laggy and buggy as h***, like on pc that's why i have 8.1 and 10 in a dualboot config on pc, but mainly using 8.1 for games ;P 10 only for play anywhere titles or dx12 exclusives.
