Re: Random: Some 3D All-Stars Players Aren't Happy About The Visible Debug Cubes In Super Mario Sunshine

eRaz0r

@TG16_IS_BAE honestly, even the "old" nintendo had a lot of problems. back in the snes days - WITHOUT bad treatment, so many snes controllers gone bad in a short time period (l & r buttons got stuck or just did not recognise button presses anymore - that drove me crazy in the spider-levels in donkey kong country 2).

also my 2 "original" nintendo DS consoles, had bad left speakers (crackling noises at louder volume settings) - nintendo 64 - bad quality control sticks and and and .... same for 2 of my 3 gba consoles (weird speakers which weren't built in correctly)

never had such quality issues with a sega console (master system, game gear, 32x, mega drive, mega cd, saturn or dreamcast ....)

Re: Random: Some 3D All-Stars Players Aren't Happy About The Visible Debug Cubes In Super Mario Sunshine

eRaz0r

The Emulation from Sunshine isn't perfect anyways. Some graphical glitches & slight stutters are always present (missing mirroring inside the flood whater when using the hover mode for example) ....

honestly, i also tried the game on dolphin (since i also own the OG sunshine gamecube version) and the gamecube version on dolphin runs absolutely perfekt. no stutters, whatsoever, the switch version ... when turning the camera in levels or delphino island, there is always a kind of stutter visible.

galaxy on the other side, runs perfect and mario 64 - of course ... even a calculator nowdays could run mario 64 ;P

Re: Nintendo Switch System Update 10.2.0 Is Now Live

eRaz0r

it's still way to unstable .... my drif issues are not stable enough, one day it's less, one day it's MOOOAAAAAAR.

please, give me more stability quickly..... also the kickstand could use more stability - please implement that in the next update

but seriously, i haven't seen any changes or optimizations. i have not even seen new profile pics .... might have been a good way to add some mario64, sunshine and galaxy pics, but nope.

or increase the stupid 10 letters nickname lock

Re: Random: Can You Hear That? Sounds Like Super Mario Galaxy 2 Music In 3D All-Stars

eRaz0r

Stop complaining about the missing galaxy 2 ... This collection just features 3 mario titels from 3 different consoles. marios first 3d adventure, his second and his third.

and it's nintendo ... if we ever get galaxy 2 on switch, it will be a zero effort 60bucks standalone port
Because Nintendo now sees how many people want galaxy 2 - so .....i can clearly see the $$$$$ sign in the nintendo CEO's eyes.
ka-tching - standalone release - much $ for almost zero work

Re: Rumour: Nintendo Is Reportedly Asking Switch Developers To Make Their Games 4K-Ready

eRaz0r

With those "ugly" "new" Joy Con patents (the ones which are standalone) i could think of a TV only switch.

so nintendo would have a portable only, a system that can do both (2017 model) and a tv only model with raised power.

i think, nintendo HAS to do something, i mean with the xbox series s on the horizon at 299 bucks ... with MUCH MORE POWER than the switch, for LESS money.

2 options: nintendo must reduce the price for the switch MASSIVELY, or bring a better revision + reduce price for the actual models.

Re: Stardew Valley Creator Uploads New Screenshot Of Update 1.5

eRaz0r

maybe i will give this game another try when this update got released ..... played that game for hours in 2017! then my switch died after a firmware update .... no nintendo online service were launched - so no ways to backup your savegames.

well, nintendo replaced the motherboard, could not save my savegames, lost 100hours in stardew and 250 hours in zelda + 80hours with mario kart .... so i never started that game again ... did not want to start all over :/ but since 3 years have passed, maybe i start again ... now with nintendo online, at least my savegames are "safe" haha

Re: Jet Force Gemini Style Platform Shooter Tamarin Unlikely To Come To Switch Anytime Soon

eRaz0r

I miss the times, when Games were programmed for each platform individually.

back in the 90s, when there was a version for sega mega drive, master system, NES and SNES. then the same for sega saturn, playstation and n64, same with dreamcast, psx, n64 & ps2.

even when the xbox launched, there still were "specific" versions of some games for weaker systems (ps2, gamecube).

nowdays no company is willing to do this anymore ... and IF they do it, the games for switch get delayed 12~15 months.
like activision with tony hawk pro skater 1&2 remake - i mean c'mon - there were switch docked, switch undocked files in the demo, even for each available controller (pro, joycon, docked, switch lite)
but if the game will come to switch, i bet i will get delayed like spyro the dragon. i think it was close to 12 months?

i miss the old days and honestly, i think switch will be my last system for ages. the "new" console generation, even the ps4 and xbox one - i do not really care about them. i've had an xbox one, but sold it. was the "weakest" system i've ever had with the least fun .... switch & pc - that's all i need

Re: Guide: How To Fix A Drifting Nintendo Switch Pro Controller

eRaz0r

@Zuljaras it does! my 2 pro controllers - both 10 months old - drifting like crazy ... as much as i love the switch, but i will NEVER buy nintendo 1st party hardware anymore. why paying 70+ bucks for a device, which is defective in a short period of time ... 30 bucks 8bitdo will do it too .... maybe better than the OG one ;(

the only thing i do not like with 8bitdo - i hate the playstation like stick placement ... i love asymetric stick positions since the dreamcast, so much better to control ... having the stick below the digipad just does not feel right haha

Re: Mojang Launches Its First DLC Pack For Minecraft Dungeons Next Week

eRaz0r

i like the game - got it on switch, but i am not willing to spend any money on that game's dlc. especially as long as the game runs like trash (serious fps issues) - i can live with the base game but since i have no friends to play with - it would not make sense to buy the dlc - a server browser to play with randoms would be nice ... i am the only guy on my xbox live friends list, who is actually playing that game hahaha

Re: Talking Point: Is EA's Switch Strategy Lazy, Or Simply Common Sense?

eRaz0r

I miss the "old" days - where there was a superiour Dreamcast version and a "bad" playstation version of the same game.

or in the early 90s ... one game - 4 different versions. one for master system, one for nes, one for mega drive and one for snes.

back in these days, companys brought their games to every plattform, no matter how weak those systems where. today - only remakes, because no one wants to do an "extra" version for a weaker system :/

EA mostly did that only on sony systems - where there was always a specific burnout or need for speed version for playstation portable or vita. nintendo .... yes there were also DS/3DS titles - but THOSE GAMES always were horrible! EA & Nintendo .... oh my. never a good relationship hahaha

Re: Review: Burnout Paradise Remastered - Thrilling Open-World Racing Tempered By Blurry Visuals And A High Price

eRaz0r

Blurry Visuals? That's a Filter the game is using even on xbox 360/ps3 - i have the xbox one s remaster also - i cannot see any difference except, that the xbox one S version does have some slight stutter here and there, the switch version does NOT have

same with borderlands 2 - stutter on xbox from time to time - absolutely rock solid 30fps on switch.

probably related to xbox one's hard drive. but the motion blur - that is a design choice to make the game look even faster (guess why sonic games using that filter too - like unleashed or generations?) and in my oppinion, it looks absolutely fine for an 12 years old game.

Re: EA Is Bringing Seven Games To Nintendo Switch Over The Next 12 Months

eRaz0r

I do NOT really like EA Games - except Burnout & MIRRORS EDGE! Mirrors Edge Catalyst would be awesome <3 - That Game is using the Frostbyte Engine, which isn't well optimised, but they have hired Frostbyte Switch programmers a couple of months ago - so this might become reality ;D

The first Mirrors Edge, before the reboot was also a good game (Unreal Engine 3) - but i have played through the game 100+ times ... i would not buy this old game again, but Catalyst, an open world parkour runner on the go - YAAAAAAAS

Re: Video: Get Hyped For Burnout Paradise Remastered On Switch With This New Trailer

eRaz0r

My fav. is still Burnout 2 - that game published by acclaim - BEFORE acclaim died and EA bought criterion games and Burnout became an EA brand ;(

I have preordered the game - bought it on xbox 360, pc, xbox one and now on switch - it's a good fun racer, especially the online mode (which i hope will be well populated on switch) but when it comes to newer burnout games - i would prefer burnout revenge over paradise. it does not have an open world, but it still had the OG crash races ... was a blast playing with a FRIEND on the couch - paradise is completely lacking of that mode, which is a bummer. but overall the game is still good. glad i can finally play it on the switch

Re: Angry Players Are Starting To Review-Bomb Animal Crossing: New Horizons

eRaz0r

That the game will not allow me to transfer my island & save to my second (outdoor) switch lite - is also a reason for me not to buy that game. but i would never review bomb it. nintendo just don't get my money, until they travel to the year 2020 and fix that crap but anyways - i would also not pay more than 20~30 bucks for that game. 60 is way to much in my oppinion. especially with those restictions.

Re: Aussie Band Says It "Just Licensed" Five New Songs For A Tony Hawk 2020 Game

eRaz0r

a REAL remake from THPS 2 to 4, with OFFLINE MULTIPLAYER, like on Dreamcast / PS2 back in the days - and i will buy it day 1

I've never bought the thps1 remake on xbox & steam, because of the "broken" physics and online multiplayer only ....
back in the 90's i was playing the shit out of thps 1 & 2 on dreamcast, offline with 4 friends - horse / looser mode. best thing in the world ;D

Re: Rumoured Switch Pro Might Not Actually Use Nvidia's Tegra X1+ Chip

eRaz0r

@TeslaChippie depends on the storage system they're using. for example - smartphones are more expensive to produce and even my 180bucks motorola one action does have 128GB UFS+ storage! (way better than emmc) - so at least 128GB with the 200bucks switch lite price-point should be easy makeable for nintendo

Re: Talking Point: Would You Like Miiverse To Return On Switch?

eRaz0r

they should hire some "how do i make super mario maker 2 lag free" devs ;P would be better than bringing mii-verse to switch.

and i don't really need playgrounds like mii-verse - a messaging system with notification-light support would be perfect.

it kinda suxx that you're not be able to communicate with switch only friends - to invite them to a game or ask them to play online multiplayer in e.g. team sonic racing ;D

Re: Rumoured Switch Pro Might Not Actually Use Nvidia's Tegra X1+ Chip

eRaz0r

Maybe the pro will have 512gig or more internal storage. i am ok with the switch's power - don't need higher specs to fragment the player base / games. but metal body and 512gigs for a decent price and i will buy it

i mean c'mon nintendo, it's 2020 and only 32gig interal space? thats not even enough for some downloadable games. i know sd cards are cheap, but the switch should have at least 256gb
