As you might recall, Mojang's new Minecraft spin-off - Minecraft Dungeons - is receiving a new DLC pack next month. Now, in the latest post over on the Minecraft website, it's been officially confirmed "Jungle Awakens" will be arriving on 1st July.
The first pack will include three new story missions and new weapons, armors, and artifacts. There'll also be new mobs such as the Leapleaf and Whisperer, and the Jungle Abomination. If you've bought the Hero Edition, you'll already have access to this content when it's released. If not, you'll need to upgrade your standard copy of the game by purchasing the Hero Pass.

Alongside this will be the release of the Lost Temple dungeon - a free update, containing some new items, a few game balancing changes, and pandas - yes, you read correctly! Below is a first look:

Will you be trying out the free update and new DLC next week? Tell us down below.

Content and price simply do not match. I have time to wait for a 50% offer. That's the point where I'll step in.
Those are ninja pandas.
@Coxula You can play it on PC for $1 w/ Gamepass trial. Or $5 for a month. Game is short, but probably worth $5.
Probably US only if you aren't. And considering how early it is here you probably aren't, but worth a try.
I hope they also fix their spelling on switch title tag [which says "Minecraft Duneons"). [Maybe they already have, haven't played for a while...]
Hopefully by the time I get to playing this, there will have been a bunch of free updates for the game! And if I happened to like the game enough, I could buy the paid DLC next.
I bought the Hero edition, so yes, at some point.
I assume this is all free with gamepass.
@Jokerwolf probably not the DLC, unless if the hero pass version is on gamepass
Didn't even know this had been released, Lol.
Within three days I maxed a 108 power char and hit level 120.
There is not much here for a seasoned gamer. I guess it will end up, keep paying for a minor dlc. Should be more free updates to warrant the price. Cost me 5 pounds per day so far.... Not really value for money.
@DAHstroy I was pretty sure that was one of the bonuses to getting it on game pass was it would get all the DLC for free. It's a first party title it would make no sense to leave out the DLC.
Yeah I agree that it's a little feature light, and they need to fix the absolutely random nature of the loot drops and merchants boxes. However its the one of the only games my whole family plays together(and that's saying a lot with a 8 and 5 year old, and a wife that doesn't play games) and for that it's a win for me.
@Jokerwolf DLC doesn't come with games offered on Xbox Game Pass. Instead, you get 10%-off discount for any DLC you buy.
@madmatt213 Well then I guess I won't get it haha.
@Deadly curious how that would convert to your hours played however. Not defending the game but I think a 'day' of playing will differ greatly between players.
i like the game - got it on switch, but i am not willing to spend any money on that game's dlc. especially as long as the game runs like trash (serious fps issues) - i can live with the base game but since i have no friends to play with - it would not make sense to buy the dlc - a server browser to play with randoms would be nice ... i am the only guy on my xbox live friends list, who is actually playing that game hahaha
@rjejr Thanx for your tip. But lending games are not my style. I'm more the "physical where possible" type of guy.
And... since Switch exist I haven't played any game at my computer - besides Heroes of Might and Magic 3.
