@bobrocks95 Horizon forbidden west the burning shores dlc was exclusive to the PS5. Didn’t matter to me. I just used my ps4 to ps5 upgrade and got it that way.

@IronMan30 I did the same thing. Got my launch day bundle and then a week later Nintendo sent me the email to buy direct from them. Granted that $1000 hit my wallet for a while but I still feel like it was worth it.

Just picked up my copy literally an hour ago. Letting my son play tonight so I can do a deep dive into it tomorrow after work. Game looks good from what I have seen so far.

I just completed my purchase of a Switch 2 from Nintendo.com. Snagged one at launch but went ahead and got another one for my wife and son to use.

No smell from mine but it’s a little toasty above the vents. Nothing major I just wasn’t expecting it I guess.

I’m currently #21 out of about 30 people in line at my local Best Buy. As of right now they are telling us they should have enough for everyone in line. They don’t know how many bundles they have but I’m at least getting my system tonight.

@StewdaMegaManNerd that is my current dilemma also. Do I camp out at my local Costco or do I try my luck with Target. I refuse to even consider GameStop

@speed_loafer I got the same email from Nintendo earlier today. When I saw it at first I thought I was one of the chosen few but alas the wait continues.

@AussieMcBucket been in line with Walmart since about 10 minutes after preorders went live. It is currently 11:30 pm where I live and I need to be up at 5 am for work. If it doesn’t come through in the next ten minutes I may just have to hope that Nintendo sees me worthy to give me an invite.

Been trying since everything went live. Still no luck. Walmart has me in line and Target keeps telling me something went wrong and won’t confirm my order

This is what I was talking about to my wife earlier this month. I am expecting the Switch 2 to retail for $399 in the US. If the tariffs affect the price I am totally expecting that price to go up to $450

@Not_Soos As great as Animal Crossing is I don’t think it could be enough of “heavy hitter” to carry a new console launch. Mario and Zelda appeal.to both the hardcore and casual crowd just enough to be Nintendo’s must haves at launch. I was there for the GameCube launch and while Luigi’s Mansion was great it wasn’t Super Mario Sunshine either.

I’ve been hyped for this game since that first trailer was released…with only 50 days till release it seems like the perfect time for me to go a on a media blackout for it so that way I’m walking in blind once I actually have it in my possession.

That’s cool I guess if I ever decide to go back to it

@Mauzuri yeah I’m feeling you on Sonic…it looks good especially in 60fps mode but the game itself just has me feeling meh. As for Horizon I played that on PS4 and got about 70% completed so looking forward to seeing how it looks on the PS5. Astros Playroom I think will be a good time for me and the son to play together.

@OldManHermit I can’t wait to play Ragnarok. Picked it up yesterday but the wife is going to wrap it up and put it under the tree and make me wait even though I know it’s there 😏

Finally got a PS5 so the weekend is getting spent on playing Sonic Frontiers, Astro’s Playroom, and Horizon Forbidden West all on my shiny new toy. Gonna let my son have some time on Kirby and the Forgotten Land in handheld mode while I hijack the 75’ 4K 😂 😂😂

LIMBO is one of those games that beats you down but after you “get it” you feel like you are the problem not the game. That ending though still bothers me to this day just like INSIDE did.

Maybe it’s just me but I’m getting serious Ghirahim vibes from Link’s arm.

@NintendoKnight if Nintendo did that it would piss off a lot of potential Switch 2 buyers simply because they would feel like they wasted money on a stop gap console instead of just waiting on the true next gen. I’m fine with waiting on the actual Switch successor instead of having a New 3DS situation on my hands.

@sketchturner you're not alone. Winback was one of those games I wanted to try back then, but just never got around to it. I wanna play it to see what I missed out on the first time around.

@Highlar No sir you are not the only one who remembers LostWinds. I loved that game back on Wii and am still upset we never got the sequel that was teased at the end of the game. Once I saw that this new game, was from the creative minds of LostWinds, it immediately went to the top of my radar.

I would have liked to have had the single player DLC but if they cut it and are planning on using it in the future that can only mean that we should get a sequel right

I'm going to finally get to play GTA 5 on PS4 this weekend...that is if my son doesn't try and be born this weekend. If he does end up sending my wife into labor them I will probably be playing Breath of the Wild in portable mode at the hospital to pass the time.

Picking up smash bros in about 2 weeks so this weekend I'm playing Skyward Sword

Going to pick up the Spyro Reignited trilogy on PS4 for my wife who had a birthday this past week so that will probably limit my own gaming time as its her favorite franchise of all time. I might get into some Wolfenstein 2 in portable mode on Switch if she ends up taking over the tv.

Going to finally pick up Doom, Wolfenstein 2, and INSIDE. Been wanting to get all three for awhile now and this sale is too good of a deal to pass up.

I decided to jump back into The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask 3D for this weekends gaming session. Didn't realize how many of the side quest masks I didn't have.

It should and probably will be here sometime in 2019. Crash remastered came almost a year after the other versions so I expect it sooner or later.

Absolutely love this game. Bought the originaland on PS3 and Vita. Then I bought this version on Wii U. I'm going to triple dip on this one and get it again on Switch. It's just that good of a game.
