I'm starting to like Konami more and more

@somebread Imo it's good for Nintendo to explore new technologies, whether they end up using them or not should be up to them.

The only bandwagoning I see are the people that mindlesly talk sh*t about NFTs because they think it makes them cool or something.

So when Nintendo says it's interested in new technology people get mad. But when they fall behind on new technology (terrible online multiplayer for example) people also get mad. Can't seem to satisfy these fanboys one way or another.

It seems every celebrity these days has to write an autobiography or self-help book. I'm really not interested.

Sounds like fun, but why not release it on a system that people actually own?

I'm mostly playing Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch and a bit of Ys VIII. Maybe I'll start up another game like God of War of Gravity Rush Remastered.

Blast Corpse was my favorite N64 game, if it comes to the expansion pass I might actually get it.

@ThomastheDankEngine you ever tried beating brock with a charmander in the original Pokémon games? It was even worse in Pokémon yellow.

Tbf Ubisoft is right here, most players are to dumb to understand NFT and blockchains. Yet they complain about issues like preservation of videogames, NFT and blockchain can literally fix that!

It's the same hate internet was getting back when it was first released, it wouldn't do anything that wasn't already possible and everyone hated it. Now we can't imagine a life without the internet.

The graphics look terrible and the game is clearly made for kids (not neccesarily a bad thing but since they original games we're pretty tough jRPGs it's a big downgrade imo).
I'm sure there is an enjoyable game underneath but Pokémon games these days feel like comfort food, it plays good and fills the nostalgia itch fairly well but at the end of it I feel mostly regret.

@blindsquarel He is making profit off the Pokémon IP tho. If they could, then Nintendo/TPC would have absolutely shut it down.

I will check out the demo but I still have ton of jRPGs I wanna get through first.

@HeeHo I'm not gonna buy the game, whether I can play it illegally or not. I spend way to much on mediocre Pokémon games already and I always end up regretting it.

@AstroTheGamosian It doesn't matter what Nintendo thinks about it or how many lawyers they have. They can't shut down a legal project.
It's not up to the devs to prove their legality in court, it's Nintendo's lawyers that have to prove that they are doing something illegal.

@Caryslan I'm just really glad that Nintendo is losing the fight. Threat your customers like sh*t and they will retaliate.
I'm glad the game got leaked, now people will know it's mediocre before they blindly buy it.

I don't remember the name but I sure as hell remember the gameplay. Fun times back in the day, but I wonder how it's gonna hold up today.

It looks pretty good, the only problem is that I really despise roguelikes. Gonna be a pass for me.

Looks way better then the diamond and pearl remakes already.

I don't need spoilers to know it's gonna be a rushed game with mediocre gameplay and graphics that everyone will buy.

Good thing NFTs are here to stay and within 10 years or so they'll be a permanent feature in all new releases.

@Baker1000 ah so you're saying you have no idea what a NFT actually is?

@Baker1000 minting an NFT rarely cost any energy. It's just the Ethereum network that is sucking up huge amounts of energy (whether NFTs are minted on it or not). Ethereum is switching to a proof-of-stake protocol so the energy issues will be fixed within a few years.

And this article is talking about the Solana and Polygon network, wich doesn't have any energy problems to begin with.

So please read the article first before you start with the BS arguments.

You can laugh at Logan all you want, but it's pretty messed up that the market for almost every collectable items these days are overrun with fakes and scammers.

@jojobar Do you have any statistics to back up that claim or is this just some nonsense that you assume?
Because I would rather think that the majority of mod community have been playing BotW for over hundreds of hours and own at least 1 copy of the game.

It feels like all of the hype for this game is that it's gonna be the first kirby game in 3D. Honestly that should have happened in the N64 or NGC era already.
The trailer looks okay but not amazing to me. I will probably give it a try if it scores a 9+ average on various reviews.

Pretty weak line-up imo, only Demoniaca: Everlasting Night looked interesting.

@Kienda the belts are coördinated in the order that you earn them in martial arts, so the belts would have replaced the badge next to them. So the ordering makes perfect sense.

I got 2 of the endings in Steins;Gate 0 already so I'm continuing for the other ones. When I get tired of reading I'll continue with Ys VIII or maybe give Persona 5 Royal a real try (the first hour or so didn't really appeal to me yet).

The only thing I'm really excited about is Eternal Darkness on wednesday 6:59 am (gmt+1).

@NESlover85 From what I've read Stein's;Gate Elite is an updated version of the first Stein's;Gate that is prettier but it cut out a few small details of the original.
Stein's;Gate 0 story is set after the various endings of Stein's;Gate but before the "true ending".
So go with Elite or the original first and if you're planning to play 0 play it before you reach the "true ending".

Yay! More unneccesary discussion about NFTs by mostly people who have no clue what an NFT actually is.

Call me old-fashioned but I think people should spend their money the way they wanna do it.
So many people get upset just because a company decides to sell an item that doesn't appeal to them.

I guess NFT has become a buzzword for people to get irrationally upset over. Even though the technology could prove to be quite useful in the future.

As long as newssites give free publicity to this kind of cr*p, devs are going to take more and more extreme measures. Just ignore this kind of behaviour olease, it might actually make the eshop a better place.

While the game was great when it released, it has aged so poorly. I wouldn't wanna ruin any of the great memories by replaying this today.

The more Nintendo does this kind of sh*t the more I actually want to start pirating.

Pretty cool table, probably a better use for the gameboys then all the ones collecting dust in some cellar.

@DavidMac World of Light was a tedious grind woth a few enjoyable bossfights. SSBU is great as a multiplayer experience but it really lacks some good single olayer content that other entries did have.

$40 for both would be a reasonable price, anything higher is ridiculous for a Wii U port and an older xbox 360 port.

As a casual trying to get into bullet hells, DeathSmiles has been one of my favorite games. I haven't checked out the sequel yet but it sounds good.
Only thing I really dislike is the whole loli stuff.

@jojobar It's just a few blockchains that are incredibly wasteful. There are a lot of energy friendly options and they are being used more and more.

Most people are just assuming all blockchains and NFTs are destroying the planet. It feels the same as the time when parents thought videogames are destroying there children because all videogames are violent.

I just love reading the comments bashing blockchain NFTs all based on misinformation. You guys never dissapoint.

@Longondo Same here. I'm glad the genre exist since a lot of people enjoy them. But I just can't stand losing all of my progres everytime I make a dumb mistake.
