There is no doubt in my mind that if they had somehow managed to develop a singluar OS that can work on both handheld and console, then of course their output will increase.

There is further no doubt in my mind that they will have diverted games in production to the new machine. It just makes sense.

I am however not jumping for joy. Just waiting patiently for the Nintendo announcement.

In the meantime, frankly, how is their secrecy so good? How do we really know so little. Just looking at the NEO leaks and various other leaks means (1) they have some tight security and (2) I hope they have a plan in place if it does leak and (3) hurry up and announce !

I brought a new 3DS xl at launch with FE Awakening.

It was worth it to say the least. Granted I would prefer a HD wii u version but that ain't happening so the Special Edition of Fates has been pre ordered.

This game is as good as this review makes it sound, if not better. I got it on PS Plus and this is my fav indie game. Its perfectly suited to holding a controller too

How about releasing some more VC games instead ?

With respect to your opinion, I totally disagree. The Wii U is dead in the water. Frankly, in my opinion, they are better ensuring all remaining games are the best they could possibly be - good training for their developers if nothing else,

All in favour of the delay. No way is it a deliberate delay for release reasons. The overall internet feedback based on previews thus far has been "average" at best. Clearly that has been taken on board. Delay it, make it better. Suits me.

Ok, so maybe now is the time to dive in. But for which - WiiU or 3ds? And then, physical for the boxarr or download for laziness.

Don't fret Solcross, the New XL is where its at.

I suspect special edition new XL's will come to the market at some point, this game would be a likely one for it (in my mind I'm going for the expected western special edition)

I stopped playing the demo because of the waiting and resigned myself to not buying the game.

I have now played the new and improved demo, its way better now, and my interest in buying the game has returned

My local store was almoat fully stocked of first wave, then the first rarity rumours started, then NVC discussed rarity, then the store was immediately cleaned out. I put it down to one or two speculators.

So be it, havent brought one Amiibo yet, still enjoying my Wii U and 3DS. As Nintendo intended, not necessary to enjoy their games.

9.2 million is a large enough install base. Maybe the games just arn't interesting enough.

If the game ships broken, it needs a low score.

I don't care about post release patches to fix something. For a kickoff - its not free, internet bandwidth costs, time to wait for a download costs, Thats like saying its perfectly fine for every Ford car to be sold broken, and then you take it to the mechanic later for a fix up.

There is a certain amount of sense releasing it along with a movie. Why do one without the other?

Arh sorry guys, was checking my NZ online store (www.mightape.co.nz - its legit) They do ship overseas, certain items, but unfortunately they will not ship a new 3DS XL overseas. I would think its possibly becuase of some instruction by Nintendo.

Anyway, the store staff member said they sold heaps at the midnight launch and they have heaps of mail orders ready for shipping the next day.

Well, I was going to go to a midnight launch, but was tired...

Brought one the next day, Black New 3DS XL with Fire Emblem and of course a charging cable. My first Nintendo handheld, so keen to find out what all the fuss is about

Really people? Surely the only reason to delay at this point and miss Christmas is that the game has serious problems. To delay twice...

No one in the Western world gives up Christmas shopping season.

I was originally interested in this title but the continued delays have put me off.

He's not saying he wouldn't have COD at all.

I would much prefer it if the Wii U had the large install base (which is growing) and we had the options of big 3rd party releases as well as the Nintendo games, over the current situation. I have put plenty of time into 3D world and Mario Kart, and a similar amount of time into Black Ops 2.

Granted the situation as it is now is not terrible, but I do feel that a second console is necessary and I wish it were not.

Are you guys all idiots? Capcom have put nintendo ip in a capcom game. How is that either Nintendos fault or responsibililty? At worst, it is Capcom reaching out to nintendo fans - at best it is capcom marketing genius...either way, how is that nintendos problem?
