This is nonsense. It wasn't his job to speak on the behalf of Nintendo on how they run the company internally. Also, it was not the only reason they fired him, I'm sure. Him going public about getting the boot is so pathetic and unprofessional that I doubt he will get hired any time soon by another game company. Such a lamo

When Smash Bros support dies out and all the amiibo are released, then they will release this and amiibo with it.

Having said that, I highly doubt they are releasing NX next year and would bet it's coming in 2017. They need to have complete third-party support and have some heavy hitter exclusives on release, they need to come out swinging with NX or it will fail.

@Mario_Fart Everybody is overreacting from E3. This list of upcoming games that we know about is great and exactly what I wanted from my Wii U. The last two I don't care about but they seem like fun games for children and Harvest Moon fans. Keep in mind there are undoubtedly more unannounced games and they will go out with a ban for all the fans who stayed true throughout this gen. They are also making a huge slice of money from amiibo thanks to Wii U, they don't want to put a damper on that so soon.

They are waiting for after the mature audience picks up a Wii U this holiday season with XCX and Stafox coming. Once that older player base grows they can release this game to maximize sales and popularity.

@Pigeon Devil's Third is going to be a big multiplayer game on Wii U and Xenoblade Chronicles will allow multiplayer co-op. I'm also sure Wii U will go out with a bang rather than fade away because its install base is Nintendo's biggest fans so it can't just push it aside. Just because they didn't announce games that will be coming at the end of 2016 or in 2017 doesn't mean there are none.

@Nico07 points for the ability to preorder would be a terrible idea except for their wallets, thats the opposite of why i support nintendo and am a fan of them so if they take advantage of this by trying to suffocate its fans for money im not worried about stopping support to any greedy company. im not a nintendo slave or sheep, im a fan with limits and there are plenty of other games out there.

@ejamer I agree with this, we are shooting ourselves in the foot and i will sell all my doubles and stop trying to buy/collect more amiibo if nintendo doesnt address this before wave 4 releases. im ready to get back into good ol gaming if its not addressed because its starting to feel as frustrating and unappealing as dlc announced half a year before a game releases

@Inkling they have to order them by the bulk but i agree that they should open orders and if it gets to a certain amount on their site, then reproduce them. nintendo can do a lot here to help its fans and get continued support for a long time to come. when something is difficult to get and somebody steps in to help you, you are pretty grateful for it, even if its the company itself.

@BLPs thats fine, they should still implement that in usa but create another system in other countries that allows people to somehow show their loyalty to nintendo and get the first pre-orders. at least you guys have a nintendo online store.

they have to open up a store on their USA site with per-customer limit where the customer has to own a wii u or 3ds and have an account with them and I think platinum club nintendo members of this year should be the ones getting the opportunity to pre-order first. These are the two best options Nintendo needs to implement asap because this is getting too tiring and Im liking them less and less each day for not regulating this craze for the sake of loyal fans. Its also up to us to bring up our discontent because they need to know we're pissed off. This is a good way for Nintendo to step in and show how much their fans mean to them by creating a scalper proof option.

I feel like Iwata may yet become the CEO Nintendo truly needs. His illness tied with the initial failure of Wii U and the voluntary salary cut are something I'm sure he did not take lightly. He looks and sounds wiser from his experiences.

My Toys R Us tried to play this on me when Lucario came out. I had it pre-ordered and they said they can't pull it up on the computer. They said it must be in the back but they don't know where it is so they were kind of like 'sorry but we can't get it' dummy employees. I stood there and basically told them they got it behind that door so go get it because i pre-ordered it.

@123akis There isn't enough store room. It's mostly up to the stores to enforce customer limits. If you want them, you should take to the store manager prior to release so they can enforce it on their employees. Describe the situation and how so many people are driving out of their way only to be disappointed because some greedy guy has nothing better to do except hoard em all.

This is disgusting. These employees need to be fired and there needs to be a regulated customer limit in every store selling them. Nintendo also needs to step up and do something about this. 50 per store for Rosalina is super low. Luckily I got in around 1pm by chance because I was at the mall and the lady working there felt so good telling me they only had one left.

They gotta get on board with MH4U Home themes to match our MH4U New 3DS'.

Man, they can just put the time in and translate the code for Wii U. They will still make money. This is just a way to get more of a bonus in their pockets.

miiverse app is much needed and it will help the Japanese market because they can stay connected when away from their console.

Day 1 buy for me as well. I think this will be the best RPG of this gen. I wonder what the Shulk amiibo will add. Hopefully you can play as Shulk.... or even just to get the Monado blade would be sweet.

I didn't think I would get one but was at the mall and the Target had only 1 left in stock.

It's not just scalpers, there's a ton of people are who are big Nintendo fans or collector's. Then there are the people that work at the retail shop who keep it for themselves to sell on ebay.

@Darthziggy I hear that, this is the one I wanted and I was pretty damn happy when I pre-ordered it. At least I got the Monster Hunter 4 version at Gamestop. It will match the Monster Hunter 3DS LL Leather Pouch that just came in the mail. Never played a Monster Hunter game so I'm equally excited for it.

@Dipper723 Reggie didn't insult it, he said the value the Wii U bundle offers is better and he was right. The current price drops on the other consoles are only for the holidays. The Xbox One $50 price drop will go back up in January. Take it from a person with a PC, Xbox One and Wii U.

@thesilverbrick I was thinking it will be a quick smash fix so I thought I'd skip it but knowing there are exclusive stages, items/secondary characters, and probably music for those stages, it will probably be worth getting the 3DS one as well.

Don't like the voice or the 'It's time to fight' slogan, should have been 'Defend your kingdom.' or something that slightly references what the game is about. Trailer is cool though, old-school 90's.

This makes me not want to buy the game on 3DS, no wonder Sakurai had injuries in his tendons during development I will probably now wait until the Wii U version.

It's a fun game worth getting to beat but if you are beating something right now, I suggest you put this on the wishlist because it will require your undivided gaming attention.
