Seems like Pathway is one that flew under everyone's radar but if you like turn-based strategy and Indiana Jones, I can't recommend that one hard enough.

Octopath 2 obviously the most incredible-looking.

I honestly think this is the best looking Switch game and comfortably so.

If complaining about a character's hair is your first bit of feedback about a game, you must lead the most charmed of lives.

@Rayquaza2510 I think complaining about the hair as if it's a serious reason to not get the game is genuinely one of the more nonsensical things I've read in quite a while.

This going to be a 10/10 game.

A little bummed the stuff outside of battles found in 3H isn't in this as well but it still looks like a day one buy.

I can't tell if this looks good or not, but it certainly is something different and creative.

I actually enjoyed the social elements in Three Houses far more than I thought I would so reading that this area of Engage is kind of thin is a bit of a bummer, bit overall this is still shaping up to be an above average game. Very excited for it to drop.

@Browny Can we stop generalizing to such a huge extent that it's this look that pays the bills and that this look is specifically what (maybe newer) fans want now as some kind of blame game for the direction the series has moved to? I'm a somewhat newer fan and I couldn't care less about the anime style, I'm not even that huge a fan truth be told. Three Houses was simply a very good game and much of what we've seen and read about this one points to it being a good one as well in most aspects that have nothing to do with character hair design, for example.

Some of these comments are hilarious, as if this game is akin to a beloved relative being sent off to an ice floe to die and it's all to blame on "new" fans being the "lowest common denominator" or something. People take games a bit too seriously.

I was shocked at how much I loved Three Houses, very excited for this one as well.

What a shame. One of my biggest disappointments of the year.

Will there be a review for Sports Story here any time soon-ish? Early feedback online so far hasn't been great at all.

So is it any good? Because everything I've read makes it out to be a half finished buggy mess.

Really surprised at Triangle Strategy being outside the top-10. Don't really get that.

For me it's Triangle Strategy by a mile.

@bluemage1989 Weird blanket statement on indie games when there are very high profile big budget games that are clear examples of AAA studios getting it wildly wrong too.

Brilliant game, loved every moment of it.

Everything about this game just seems wonderful.

I think a lot of the people who automatically dismiss this game because of the Rabbids would be surprised at how they're perfectly fine, if not downright funny, in these two games. They're not nearly such a problem that it warrants not even trying two of the better strategic game on the Switch.

Modded SV simply blows everything else out the water.

This already looks better than Mario Strikers. I'm in.

One of the biggest regrets I have with the Switch was buying this game.

I was completely hooked on Have a Nice Death until I saw the roguelike bit. Beyond tired of needing to die over and over again in games in order to advance the story.

Probably the best looking game on the Switch.

Tactics Ogre is a day one for me.

Day that ends in y so it's mandatory that at least one person inevitably brings up the "disconnected story" even though this post is all about the visuals.

Sequel, easy question.

@Koffyman It's a very fun game even with some very mature themes and events. Far from boring.

Does Atlus not know that Google exists?

I'm still not sold on the free movement bit but I have no doubt that this game will be as brilliant as the first, if not better.

To me this is comfortably the best looking game on the Switch.

Oof. Not a single word or imagine in this review makes this game seem appealing to me.

I'm really enjoying it so far but holy moly is the text unbelievably tiny.

I mean, Sunless Skies probably could've gotten some more attention due to the quality of the writing, the strong reviews for it and Sunless Sea elsewhere, and the deeply committed community around the entire universe those games take place in.

I think I would've preferred HD-2D but this looks nice regardless.

Really, really not a fan of the free move mechanic but given how great the first game was I'm sure they'll win me over with this.

I thought the demo was pretty terrible, doesn't seem like I'll be missing out on a masterpiece.

I still haven't had any of these issues aside from the six cultists in the church during a sermon and a slight stutter when exiting a dungeon. Maybe I'm lucky?

Sunless Sea and Skies should be far, far more universally popular games than they are. Both are brilliant.
