Re: Review: Pathway - Competent XCOM-Style Combat, But Is That Enough?

I like it a lot! Liked it a lot on PC too. To me it looks beautiful and it scratches that itch of whirlwind adventures in an exotic foreign land. Yeah it doesn't have overly complex systems or menus or characters like other turn-based strategy games but now and then it's nice to take a break from all that and just take down some Nazi goons in a pretty setting. Only gripe I have is that one too many of the nodes you stop at don't have anything that advance the story or require any actions of you. To each his own but I'd bump this a little over a 5/10.

Re: Forget The European Super League, True 'Football Drama' Is Coming To Nintendo Switch

@1ofUs Sure, 12 of the richest clubs in the world wanted to break away from the current continental competition and create their own closed one with up to eight more teams joining (five on a rotational basis as they'd have to play their way in unlike the others who are there permanently). They'd receive enormous sums of money to be in this league and would supposedly, though I don't believe it, trickle this money down into the domestic league for the smaller clubs to enjoy. They got absolutely hammered over this idea by virtually everyone, and rightfully so, as the massive financial disparity between clubs would widen to an even more criminal level.

@SarahStellie Why does it deserve better, is this some beloved character or IP done wrong? It's a poorly-made game priced at an exorbitant price relative to the quality. To me that doesn't really deserve anything more than the criticism it received.

@Desrever Or maybe, just maybe, instead of assuming that people use this as a substitute for professional help we can maybe give them the benefit of the doubt that 1. something like this could be therapeutic enough and/or 2. it's one tool in a much larger toolbox that they're using to battle their afflictions. If it helps folks, I don't see why any of us should judge how they go about it.
