Loving every minute of it. I genuinely still haven't had any of the technical issues others are facing.

I have some 10 hours on this on the Switch and aside from a couple stutters I've yet to come across a single technical issue like some are documenting. I really don't think performance is bad at all.

I found hospital to be pretty overwhelming as it went on but the university setting is so appealing that I'd be willing to give this one a shot too.

Anyone else hear the Octopath Traveler main theme when watching this video?

It'll 100 percent release on the Switch as well, we all know this.

I thought both Octopath and Triangle were 10/10, very excited for this one.

I don't love the free move mechanism, but it's still a day one buy for me.

Weird how some equate SV being in the same genre as Harvest Moon as a ripoff but this game quite possibly ripping off assets wholesale is okay? Like, you can see some of the plants/vegetables in the video above and they are 100 percent identical to the turnips in SV.

Looks nice but that standing still animation and the attack animation are both absolutely terrible.

Boy, I must be a filthy casual because for me it's comfortably SMO followed by either Galaxy.

@Link-Hero As a non-native speaker it would be difficult for me to tell when the voice acting is good versus when it's just ordinary. I'd have no idea what words or phrases are being emphasized just by reading along so I'm not sure that would be a solution for me. Might work for others but I wouldn't say it's quite so simple for all.

@Link-Hero If the a English dub isn't up to someone's standards why should the only option then be to switch to Japanese, especially if the person playing doesn't speak Japanese? I think the voice acting is fine from what I've heard but it's not asking too much for the quality of the English dub to match the Japanese.

Absolutely haaaaaaaaaate the font choice in the dialogue boxes but yeah, this game looks incredible otherwise, especially that first video in the west.

Maybe the only thing I enjoyed today, looks pretty nice.

Gameplay doesn't seem like my kind of thing but just the entire look and presentation of it is enough to give it a shot. Love the pop of the colors.

Oh god, hard yes. Sunless Sea is such a stupidly great game that doesn't get nearly enough attention. This looks fantastic.

Brilliant game. The "80 percent dialogue" thing is kind of nonsensical to me, it hardly has any more dialogue than your standard RPG and it's only natural to set the table with exposition to begin the game.

Can't put this game down. Finding the complaints that it's too much reading to be pretty laughable considering it's on par with most of the other AAA RPGs that have picked up industry acclaim. It's really nothing too unreasonable.

This is probably my favorite genre and I'm pleasantly surprised at the selection the Switch offers. Triangle Strategy so far has been impeccable.

God, yes. I've been refreshing like crazy hoping for a good review, this does the job. Cannot wait for launch.

@OldMcGroin I don't think it'd at all be unreasonable to say they did more to advance their franchises in terms of mechanics, look, world, etc. than Elden Ring appears to be doing relative to the Souls games.

@BLD You know your entire premise goes out the window once you realize that's it's possible to own both a PS and a Switch and be aware of the features of games on either console? I swear, some of you that complain about console wars and fanboys are really the ones trying to speak it into existence when it's not nearly as much of a thing as you want to believe it is.

@Dissident I mean, yeah you would see it there. I'm active there, I've posted that this game doesn't do anything for me and there definitely are a handful of others that agree. Nothing to do with the console.

I mean, it's another Souls game. It's probably excellent and was obviously made with care and by competent people, but it's still another Souls game at the core of it. Revolutionary? I guess I just don't see it. Glad folks enjoy it though.

How someone can pay $60 from an extremely established dev for a game that they'll be looking at for 25+ hours and say what they're looking at doesn't matter and shouldn't be a priority is beyond me. I'm not saying this game needs to be PS5-level but this is just straight-up ugly and looks unfinished at points.

Of course what your eyeballs are seeing matters.

Seeing a lot of Pokemon fans here having a totally normal one at the mere mention of this game having even the slightest of flaws.

Anyway. Looks interesting, good score.

Barely touched my Switch since nabbing a PS5 but this game will be the exception.

Hmm, the buzzwords really sold me on it. Might give them my money.

Instant purchase for me. Really liked the demo.

Waited desperately for this game and it turned out to be maybe my biggest disappointment of the year due to the load times. Credit to the team for addressing it when they could've just abandoned it.

@Kulhy Don't let visual style turn you off, League has some exceptionally developed and written lore, whether it be character or world.

League is my most played game ever but as the 30s dulled my reaction time I thought I had put it away for good forever. Now it seems I gotta pick this up and get right back into the time sink that is this world.

I mean, day one buy at full price but even by fantasy standards these are some truly and hilariously nonsensical character names.

Absolutely LOVE this game. Visually one of my favorites on the Switch and totally nails the entire Indiana Jones vibe and aesthetic. It's nothing complex but I just praise it enough.
