Got mine on launch day. Still fire it up every so often. One of the coolest things I own for sure.

Pre-ordered from Gamestop. Can't wait for it to arrive in 6 months time.

"Super Switch" reveal. BOTW2. Crash for Smash. And maybe a new IP to look forward to.

If it gives people more opportunities to play a game that might not have been available to them, I'm all for cloud gaming. More choice is better.

In terms of technology I can see them investing more money in streaming. They aren't going to release a console that will compete in terms of power with the other consoles. They've already experimented with streaming, I can see that being more common in the future as they try to bridge that gap in some form or another.

I haven't seen a funny SNL skit in years. This was terrible.

Choice is better. But we are inching towards a more digital only future. I've no issue with it but I can understand why some would. Its not a deal breaker for me though like it is for some. I planned on getting this release, probably in cartridge form. But I'll download now instead.

Haven't played Switch much lately unless playing multiplayer with mates. Mario Kart, Broforce, Splatoon and Rocket League is usually the playlist.

If they release a new game now they'll just re release it on the next home console. Gimme dlc for 8 and then next gen gimme a whole new game.

Coming to all platforms and has crossplay. This is the way.

Gamestop Ireland is offering a free Mario Golf water bottle. Actually looks really nice. Pre-ordered it because I was planning on getting it anyways and I got a voucher as a gift from a friend.

Someone gave me a GS voucher recently as a present. Better use it quick before they go under and it's worth nothing.

@OorWullie probably not. FIFA organisation is clearly against the whole thing and EA probably wouldnt risk upsetting FIFA by going for gaming rights. Probably would have been more likely that Konami swooped in and got the rights. Would be a big challenger to the FIFA games since it would have all the big name stars except for a small few few (Mbappe, Neymar etc)

Xbox is doing their best to bring the service to every other screen that people already have anyways. They don't need to bring it to Switch.

Need to finish the main story. Got stuck in Chapter 6 final battle and dropped off it. Loved what I played of it.

Despite not owning a playstation since the PS1, the position of those buttons has been beaten into me. Only controller I sometimes struggle with is Nintendo since I've only owned one since the Switch. I've been an Xbox boy since the original and lately also playing on Stadia which thankfully has the same button layout as Xbox.

@dres the cool thing to do right now is bad mouth stadia. Mostly this is by fanboys/fangirls who pledge their undying devotion to only one platform and every other platform is trash as a result. I have a Switch, I play games on Stadia, I've owned Xbox and PlayStation consoles in the past. I just enjoy gaming. Others should do the same and leave the hate behind. But this is the Internet so that'll never happen.

@CodyMKW you need to pay for that option on Switch too.

@KayFiOS what is there to own? You can play games on Stadia without buying anything apart from the game itself. If you have a Gmail account, congrats. You are now also the proud "owner" of a Stadia.

Been playing this the last few months on Stadia. Great game. Highly recommend.

I gave up waiting for a Switch version, got it on Stadia instead for playing portable or big screen. Would have bought on Nintendo given the option.

@TheLightSpirit was going to pick it up physical but Smyths or Gamestop don't seem to be carrying it in stock at all. Might have to go digital.

AC Odyssey was a great game. Gonna wait for this one to drop down to €25 or so before I bite. These games are a time sync.

@avictorao Glad you enjoyed it. I hope they remake some of the other Zelda games in a smilar art-style.

I think nostalgia plays a huge part in how a lot of these remakes are received. I never played the original. Even though it's one of the best looking games on the console, I just couldn't get into it and dropped it after a few hours.

@COVIDberry I load up Rocket League. I get a pop up at the start to buy something. I click and it goes away. Proceed to menus, setup my game, play game for 5 minutes. At the end of game I win a skin or whatever and another link maybe to buy something. I click skip.

So that's twice in over 5 minutes I've had the inconvenience of having to press A. Not bad for a game that cost a lot of people literally nothing to play.

@FroZtedFlakerZz never understood this logic about micro transactions. I've been playing Rocket League for years. Never once have I spent additional money on it in micro transactions. They're completely optional.

@Ghost_of_Hasashi I remember in the first year of the Switch there was an article doing the rounds here about how Bandai couldnt get hold of dev kits to bring their games to Switch. That was 3 years ago now. Hopefully that's the only reason they've been slow to release something like Tekken and not the reason you mentioned.

Tekken please. Been hoping for it since the day I got my Switch.

Doesn't look like my kinda game but pity for people who were interested in this.

@Dang69 Personally I think Salmon Run is fine but not overly bothered by it. Much prefer Tower and Splatzones.
Increased number of maps in rotation and new modes would be great. Would love a big map for a battle-royale style mode , have a load of players all fighting to be the last squid standing. Or maybe a perma-death mode where you can take a lot more damage before you get killed but once you die your gone. Will be interesting to see what they come up with.

Never really bothered with the single player in Splatoon 2. Love jumping in with my friends in online. Looks like we'll all be getting 3 also, hoping they focus on bringing more online game modes than are currently available in 2.

The Ouya killer.

Probably Splatoon and Rocket League with mates online on Switch. And Jedi Fallen Order and PGA 2K21 elsewhere.

Really enjoyed this years F1 game. Will be interesting to see if there are any noticebale changes to the next version.

Still on the fence about this. Will depend if my friends buy it.

Instant purchase. Been waiting for this.

Only reason I haven't finished Control on Switch is because I'm a big scaredy-cat. This game puts me on serious edge. Great game though.
