8 years after release i have decided to give Starlink: Battle for Atlas another go. And this time I'm absolutely loving it. Not sure why it didn't click with me before.

Opted to buy this on Switch instead of Playstation for the portability. Not bothered about slightly worse performance.

As soon as I finish South of Midnight I'll pick this up. Will get it physical so can lend it to mates and resale if needed.

Great to see. Will probably go physical for this one.

No Switch for me this weekend. Attempted to play Assassins Creed Shadows but the download was taking too long. So I decided to stream Assassins Creed Mirage on PS+. Really enjoying it. Good to play a back to basics AC game again.

@OmnitronVariant that's just it, you're happy with his policies that benefit you and make your life better. Even if that inversely effects other people. The selfishness of all MAGA supporters is disgusting.

Trump is ruining America, starting wars so he can profit from them and basically burning every bridge America has with the rest of the world. America are the bad guys now to the rest of the world.

@dugan just finished the game today. The last hour of the game leans more on story telling rather than puzzle gameplay. The story is good so I didn't mind. But it definitely slows down.
Overall loved the game. Good story, clever new puzzle mechanics and looks gorgeous.
Enjoy it.

Planet of Lana 2 is turning out to be a brilliant game. Really enjoying it and a great step up gameplay wise from the first 1. Highly recommend

@Gavintendo you do you. People seem to have a low threshold these days on what's an acceptable level of fidelity etc on games. Once the game is fun to play and looks good (which this does, regardless of resolution etc) im generally happy to play.
You'll miss out on some great games if this is your outlook on gaming today

Played a bit of it last year. Gorgeous game but the gameplay didn't keep me interested

@Gavintendo you can delete it when you're finished. Sounds like a short enough game too

I have a few of these Zelda F4F statues. They're gorgeous. I have the Link Archer one from BOTW so not sure I'll go for this. Depends on the price

Personally I really enjoyed it. Found the ending a bit off but other than that was really happy with my time with it. Even bought the Viola amiibo as i was getting closer to completing the game.

@9_10DOH64 only time i had issues was in the menus where the game got choppy at times but having chatted to people playing on PS5 they reported similar issues, although maybe not as bad on that system.
Online or local i had no issues.

@9_10DOH64 what was your complaint? I've played it a good bit and thought it was good.

@Beny9877 NFL is getting bigger by the year. We had our first league game here in Dublin this year and tickets were like gold dust. Amazing day.
Meanwhile London has been selling out multiple games each year, Germany too and recently Spain are getting in on the act. There's a reason the nfl keep coming back to Europe. There's a growing fan base here growing all the time

Playstation narrowly pips Nintendo this year in terms of hours played for me. 128 hours versus 165 hours.

I just got my Metroid 4 Viola amiibo today. It's gorgeous. Loving Metroid 4.

Playing my first Metroid game. Dabbled a tiny bit in the remaster of Prime a few years back but it didn't click with me. Metroid 4 really has though, enjoying it a lot

I'm about 3 hours in and really enjoying it. Haven't played much Metroid in the past. But this one looked interesting so decided to give it a shot.
For me it's an 8 but so knows by the end, it might creep up to a 9

By end of year I'll have at least 5 new game purchases. 4 on Nintendo and 1 playstation.

Not right now. Played Galaxy 1 as part of the 3D All Stars collection but never finished it. Might pick it up in a few years if I see it going cheaper

30 fps doesn't bother me. But hopefully those glitches get ironed out. Haven't bought a fifa/FC game in a good while so might pick this up on discount

Got it for my phone instead. A great game for the phone but yes I agree with the "cons" mentioned above.

I just recently beat Expedition 33 on ps5, but I only own it digitally.
Fully intend to play through it again and would love to have it on Switch. Day one purchase if they release it

DK Bananza. Not loving it as much as others seem to be. It's fun but I'm finding it very repetitive already. Maybe my opinion will change the further in a get. Only at the 4th layer so far i think. A 7 out of 10 so far for me.

Thankfully I never suffer from this, even when playing VR games

I usually pick up an NBA game once every 4 or 5 years. But I think I'll be getting Madden this year on Switch.

Thank god my eyes don't notice these things. I got the OLED Switch 1 and barely noticed any difference over my day 1 Switch.

@AllBLK same. People baffle me sometimes. Been gaming for over 30 years and I've never lost a game. All my consoles still work also, dating back to the Sega Mega Drive and an old Atari ST.

@Darthmoogle it's a review of the upgrade only. Not the game as a whole.

Doing midnight launches in all Ireland stores also. Sadly won't get to go to it, I'll have to wait till the next day. But at least the queue will be shorter for me now

Thankfully not an issue for me. Generally only play one or 2 games at a time. Once I'm finished, delete to make room for next game
