I just got my Metroid 4 Viola amiibo today. It's gorgeous. Loving Metroid 4.

Playing my first Metroid game. Dabbled a tiny bit in the remaster of Prime a few years back but it didn't click with me. Metroid 4 really has though, enjoying it a lot

I'm about 3 hours in and really enjoying it. Haven't played much Metroid in the past. But this one looked interesting so decided to give it a shot.
For me it's an 8 but so knows by the end, it might creep up to a 9

@Shepdawg1 this is my reaction to all this too. Can I play the game? Yes. So not bothered where the data is.

By end of year I'll have at least 5 new game purchases. 4 on Nintendo and 1 playstation.

Not right now. Played Galaxy 1 as part of the 3D All Stars collection but never finished it. Might pick it up in a few years if I see it going cheaper

30 fps doesn't bother me. But hopefully those glitches get ironed out. Haven't bought a fifa/FC game in a good while so might pick this up on discount

Got it for my phone instead. A great game for the phone but yes I agree with the "cons" mentioned above.

I just recently beat Expedition 33 on ps5, but I only own it digitally.
Fully intend to play through it again and would love to have it on Switch. Day one purchase if they release it

DK Bananza. Not loving it as much as others seem to be. It's fun but I'm finding it very repetitive already. Maybe my opinion will change the further in a get. Only at the 4th layer so far i think. A 7 out of 10 so far for me.

Thankfully I never suffer from this, even when playing VR games

I usually pick up an NBA game once every 4 or 5 years. But I think I'll be getting Madden this year on Switch.

That looks cool. Not sure I'd go for it, will depend on price.

Thank god my eyes don't notice these things. I got the OLED Switch 1 and barely noticed any difference over my day 1 Switch.

@AllBLK same. People baffle me sometimes. Been gaming for over 30 years and I've never lost a game. All my consoles still work also, dating back to the Sega Mega Drive and an old Atari ST.

@Darthmoogle it's a review of the upgrade only. Not the game as a whole.

Doing midnight launches in all Ireland stores also. Sadly won't get to go to it, I'll have to wait till the next day. But at least the queue will be shorter for me now

Thankfully not an issue for me. Generally only play one or 2 games at a time. Once I'm finished, delete to make room for next game

Stick to the Portal. Doesn't cost too much, can run all games without the need for developers to make tweaks to run on a handheld, won't weigh a tonne.

I have a Switch and a PS Portal. And will likely get whatever the Switch 2 turns out to be. I think that will cover 99% of games I'm interested. Don't see a need for an xbox anymore since they're bringing most of their games to other platforms anyway.

Na. No interest in listening to game soundtracks unless I'm playing the game. Don't get the appeal but each to their own. Glad others are enjoying it.

Just beat Echoes of Wisdom. It's motivated me to go back to TOTK. Took a break from it last year after putting in about 100 hours. Think it's time I went back and finished it.

If any other developer made this game it would have sold well. Because it's ubisoft, people know it will be heavily discounted within 3 to 6 months. I bought it half price after a few months.

If I was bothered by frame rates I wouldn't be playing on Switch

Played last years version on Switch and found it ran too poorly to enjoy. So sadly it's a no from me.

@XandertheWise it's a European sale. When it's an American sale they usually post the prices in dollars.

I have the Link, Zelda and Revali statues. Plan to get the remaining champions at some point. But don't think I'm interested in this one.

@Rob3008 some people only have one console. If I only owned Switch and was interested in this game I might buy it also.

@OctolingKing13 The Mario 3D Collection that came out last year or the year before. Has Mario 64, Mario Sunshine and Mario Galaxy on it.

This weekend I'll be playing on my new favourite handheld: PS Portal 😄.
Death Stranding is on my playlist there along with a few rounds of Shotgun King.

On Switch, still working my way through Mario Galaxy. Love it

Played Planet of Lana on Gamepass earlier in the year. Great game, real Limbo and Inside vibes. Highly recommend.

Will play someday. But not for awhile. The backlog has increased lately.

@Zuljaras Spiderman 2 is no doubt a great game but I think most outlets this year will be torn between TOTK and Baldur's Gate 3. I haven't played BG3 yet but hope to before end of year. Can see Spidey 2 winning some awards but not GOTY awards.

The Swicth version of EA FC is very poor. And going by the subreddit for the game in general, people aren't happy with this years version. Buggy as hell and poor AI. Thankfully I went physical and can trade in to get some money back.
First time I bought a "FIFA" game in about 5 years, not impressed.

Bought the Zelda OLED Switch a few months back. Sold my Day One OG Switch to a friend, was still in great condition. This Switch will do me for a good few years.

Own all 3 platforms but decided to get it on Switch. Portability was the deciding factor.

FC 24. Man am I rusty at this game. Lots of practice required before I take on people online.

I use to buy football games every year. This will be my first in 5 years. Looking forward to giving it a go.

This might be the first fifa game I pick up since the first one they released on Switch. I own Series S and PS5 but having this portable would lean me towards getting it on Switch. Not bothered about 30 v 60 fps.
