@Ludovsky yep, totally agree that makes releases even less likely. However, I was more alluding to the trend of Nintendo of recent years of only announcing games when they are almost ready for release, they keep games secret even from investors rather than announcing games in development we’ll ahead of time like in the past. I firmly believe we’ll see releases this year from Nintendo that are yet unannounced/TBA. Covid will certainly cause some delays though.
Let's remember that just because it's TBA doesn't mean it won't happen this year... it just means it's not announced, it's still possible something like Bayonetta 3 will arrive this year. But the release slate is certainly very thin at the moment.
@MoonKnight7 thanks, yeah we’ve already given our feedback that perhaps some of the questions aren’t right. At least the majority are optional. Hopefully better next year.
@MoonKnight7 yeah, we didn’t have input into the questions as this is organised by Gamer Network, which is why we suggested not answering anything you’d rather not say, even if it is anonymous.
@PcTV not sure what is misleading? It’s a network wide survey, therefore doesn’t ask specific NL questions. We made it clear in the article what the survey is for.
@HappyMaskedGuy sure, it's inappropriate. Why would you pick that as your go-to example, it has no context. Therefore it was changed to something more suitable. Alternatively, we can remove the comment altogether if you wish.
@PhilKenSebben that's fair. I'm a huge fan of the series and whilst Paradise is great, it's not in the same tier as Takedown/Revenge, it's just a different kind of game.
@RupeeClock not really, as long as the same games got announced outside of E3 that would probably work better for us, and other sites. E3 causes a huge amount of noise and therefore a lot of things get lost in that noise, spreading it out over a longer period would be easier to cover and give more overall traffic.
As above "Please note: Unfortunately, it seems that Nintendo has changed how it distributes its weekly eShop information. Therefore, this week's article is somewhat brief - sorry! We'll see what we can do to start bringing you the full release list again from next week."
@Dang69 we're not against freedom of speech, but unlike other platforms, we will make sure that what is said is accurate, therefore mentioning the allegations are fine, but stating things as fact with no legal basis will not be tolerated for obvious, legal, reasons. There is also a constructive and respectful way to discuss things, for both parties, rather than simply throwing insults around.
@cmack you’re not. Other comments have already been removed. Whilst this is public, we decide what is appropriate and what isn’t. Going into the allegations that have been made have already been covered in previous comments and therefore is now time to get back on topic.
@cmack let’s leave it there and keep things respectful. This isn’t the place to be discussing the legal cases in any detail. Anyone seeking further info into those matters will do so elsewhere.
@clvr it’s not intentionally misleading, they are effectively Pro Controllers, although probably not allowed to use that name. I’ve changed the title to be crystal clear, but stand by the fact that it’s not at all clickbait.
@HarrisonBergeron Nintendo Life is not just a news website, it's also a community and therefore we want to encourage a discussion after each article, if you don't enjoy reading the comments here then that's fine — you can stick to reading the articles, it's not compulsory to comment.
@the8thark I mean, do you need to be so aggressive with the comment? A polite clarification request would suffice. Anyway, the article is updated to make it clearer to you that it was sent via email, from Nintendo.
@HappyMaskedGuy not at all. We always try to cover the crossover of popular gaming franchises as they go beyond just being games. This is of interest to many of our readers.

@codyf it’s certainly keeping us on our toes, it’s fun but hard to predict
Re: Paper Mario Is Coming To Switch! Paper Mario: The Origami King To Launch This July
@Harmonie Nintendo's announcement strategy hasn't made sense in any of the 15 years I've been running this site. It's quite bizzare.
Re: SNK Deletes "Inappropriate And Offensive" Samurai Shodown Tweets, Offers Apology
@TheFullAndy @tekknik @gameboy1975 etc, please stop the childish arguing and insult throwing otherwise accounts will be banned.

Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Switch Games, And It's A Pretty Small List
Obviously we’ll still see some Mario games announced and released this year, that might fill out the schedule a little.
Re: Nintendo Reconfirms Release Windows For Major Switch Games, And It's A Pretty Small List
@Octane haha. Well it’s /possible/ they’d announce it for a fall launch, but 99.9% unlikely
Re: 18 Nintendo-Published Switch Games Sold More Than A Million Copies This Financial Year
@TCF thanks, you are not alone in reporting this... that should be working as expected now!

@MichaelHarvey @HappyMaskedGuy okay, enough of the name-calling. If you can't discuss it like adults then don't discuss it at all.

@Lordplops @PcTV I’ve changed ‘Our’ to ‘This’ which hopefully removes any doubt. Thanks for the feedback!

@PcTV fair enough, I think that makes sense.

@bluemage1989 we’ll do a site specific one another time, this one is for the advertisers.
Thanks to all those that filled it in!

Re: Nintendo Download: 20th February (Europe)
Interestingly the official press release listed SEGA AGES Sonic 2, but I think that was an error :/
