The only question mark for me is performance. The initial demos were very choppy, to say the least, hopefully they've made some changes to make it run a bit smoother for the final version.

@MrBlacky I think most sites have their own unique attributes, it's good that not all sites are the same as not all users are the same. There are plenty of other sites that throw up everything against the wall as it happens but we'd rather post a bit less and pick what to cover.

@MrBlacky we've never been obsessed with being 'first', so that isn't really a concern.

@Mr_Muscle any long term reader of NL knows they can question us, what we do and how we do it. All we ask is that it's presented constructively and with merit. You haven't done this and therefore getting called out on it. Your distrust of other websites is not something we can control. I suggest you be more selective and respective of authors going forward, unless you have a specific issue.

@Mr_Muscle it's a big deal that you're questioning the integrity of the author of the review (and therefore this website) with absolutely no basis. Simply saying "I'm happy to be proven wrong" doesn't defend those accusations.

@gamer95 it's a fairly solid 30 fps if I recall. When you compare this to the latest games running on PS4 Pro then it does feel "last gen" but that's down to the difference between Switch and PS4 Pro. If you're happy with other games on Switch then it shouldn't put you off.

@Mr_Muscle it is hard to understand that yes. Someone posting such a comment only 5 minutes after the 2,500-word review went live, I'm not sure I believe someone read the entire review, digested it then wrote and posted a well-considered comment all within 5 minutes.

@boatie the press release didn't contain any 3DS sale info, so you'd probably need to check the 3DS store to double-check. It's possible they aren't really doing them any more though...

@GrailUK considering what EA had said in the recent past about bringing it's "successful games" to Switch, it's absolutely relevant. Like always, not every article on the site is aimed at every single reader, so just because you don't like EA doesn't mean others aren't interested in the news.

@Xylnox good question... if you check the scoring policy page it details what we mean by each score, so the reviewer checks their thoughts against the scale to see where it best fits based on their experience. The Editor will also check that the tone of the review matches the score definition too. So it's not really a case of working forwards or backwards.

Sorry folks, Nintendo have decided not to include prices in their press release again. We’ll see if we can import these somehow from the eshop but doing it manually would take wayyy too long!

@GrailUK ah, the old bank robbery is the same as piracy debate Haha, nah, I know what you're saying but I don't feel that's a fair comparison of what's going on here. Back to the actual subject though, there's clearly a deep relationship between Switch and Nvidia Shield and therefore we feel it's interesting to see how far certain people have taken their Switch - aside from piracy - when it comes to running Android.

@carlos82 that sounds moe like a moderator not interpreting the rules correctly, posts like that (PT) should have been allowed - I'd have no issues with that.

@spirit_flame you could also say that it exposes them to authorities as well, which is probably what they don't want. We've always covered big stories within this realm and our readers, such as @frabbit are interested in hearing about it.

As I’ve mentioned before, we do ask Nintendo for comment but due to how Nintendo is structured it’s difficult for us to get real answers. Being based in the UK our main contacts are Nintendo UK, and they don’t have a say in lots of things and often are beholden to NCL in Japan. This is going to be a huge topic internally for Nintendo and we expect the story to continue for a while until there is a clear way forward. As you say, we’ve been surprised as to how many people this issue seems to be affecting so keeping the story in the public eye is useful for consumers, hopefully Nintendo will take notice and issue a proper response in the near future so everyone knows where they stand.
