Yoku's island was $6 so I finally bought. I'm a sucker for a sale and it's a great game.

Basically anything that has Drug use or 'encouraged' drug or alcoholism (e.g this games feature to smoke cigarettes) gets automatically banned with options for an appeal.

While games have alcohol and cigarettes as options a game can't actively encourage you to consume them for rewards.

'We the happy few' for example was banned here then released on consideration because the whole point of the game is 'drugs are bad'.

As a side note; This game looks and sounds like garbage anyway... lol.

If you don't want to re:purchase the game great. Vast majority didn't buy a WiiU and didn't play this game. This re:release is for the majority not for the 12 of us who bought it. If your in this category YouTube bowsers fury as it's very short. Personally I owned a WiiU and it's a fantastic game, with online multiplayer in a global pandemic go play with friends. I'll be purchasing it again.

In Australia we have "AnimeLab" which is Funimation. Yet we don't have a Funimation for the switch

It's a fair assessment and makes sense why Nintendo hasn't revisited the series. On the flip, the marketed Fast RMX to death when switch released... 🤷‍♂️

Guessing with the switch it's Nintendo Handheld And Console (HAC); where as the switch lite I guess would be Handheld Dedicated Hardware (HDH) ?

Unless they're going to HD-ify it like the RE games, unsure if it's worth it

Tough to call it's 30th anniversary on a series when that series dead ass stopped over 15 years ago.

Although we're bot going to agree with the ranking order, I firmly believe all these games are in the top 50.
Scrolling through I kept going "aww I loved that game" and "awww yes that game".

@Coach_A lol I had about 3-4 hours worth of fun with it. It's just like an addictive mobile game. PSA, it was on sale when I bought it while on sale for$0.49. Retrospectively it's a 50c game

@JohnnyC whole heartedly agree. Smash looks beautiful on my 75" 4K tv, as does Mk8, Mario rabbids, Zelda, odyssey, dragonball FighterZ, ect ect. All but Pokémon lol.

Nintendo create magic on their consoles, personally don't care if they don't do 4K, their first party looks glorious as is

@diablo2 true but I'm honestly not fussed. I have a PlayStation and a switch. I don't see them as rivals, I see them as their own devices.

My switch is the "Nintendo" machine for all the Nintendo IP, and I splash a few dollars on indie titles. Found small indie games quite enjoyable and seem to 'fit' on the Wii > Wii U (hello affordable space adventures) and on the switch.

My PlayStation is my "gaming" machine where I want all of the pretty things to shine.

I like the experiences on Nintendo and I like the gamey games on PlayStation. So I'm happy for Nintendo to keep doing their thing.

The game looks like it was made for 'current gen', they're probably looking at optimising for the switch but can't commit to a release till it's all working correctly. Would be a disservice to release a half ass game.

@RickD yeah I read an article that they have enough funds through various investment to loose profit for 20 years. This was when the WiiU was in decline. This is also why they are happy to experiment because when they do and get a win it's usually highly profitable

Nintendo is a 'small' company compared to most other gaming giants and AAA developers. They don't have to pay as many people = better wages. It's also earned by their quality of first party games.

I'd love some Microsoft IP on switch, they could totally compliment each other. However, I'd buy physical in the event a deal broke its likely games would be removed from eshops

Has ANYONE had issues with the switch overheating ? They're so many videos showing the switch basically only overheats if you cover it with a blanket and it will turn itself off if/when it gets too hot.

Edit:
There are also known issues where older switches are getting hot from dust/dirt build up so it cannot actively cool as it should. A new fan won't keep it clean
