Re: Retailers In North America Merge Wii U & 3DS Library Under One Nintendo Banner

Zelda64L

Gee, I wish the Nintendo sections at the stores I go to were that big. Target only ever has maybe half of aisle dedicated to Nintendo video games (the rest are accessories and Amiibo) and most of those are cheap, movie-based 3DS games. The Walmart I go to is smaller, but at least they have a better selection. And GameStop pretty muchs limits Nintendo to a tiny corner in most of the stores I've been to.

Re: Vote For The Next Character To Appear In Disney Infinity

Zelda64L

As much as I want Gravity Falls characters (Dipper and Mabel) I am still wondering about the sanity of Disney. I mean, half of these are classic Disney icons and they STILL aren't in here? Goofy especially. Just make the list simpler and confirm all the classics and let everyone else compete.

Re: Vote For The Next Character To Appear In Disney Infinity

Zelda64L

@DroothR She's from a pretty dang good DisneyXD show called "Gravity Falls". It has a huge fandom and I'm actually surprised you haven't at least heard of it. She's one of the more popular characters due to her hyper silliness, but my personally favorite is her calmer twin brother Dipper.

Re: Weirdness: Here's What An All-Human Star Fox Team Looks Like

Zelda64L

@NintendoFan64 Because those woman wanted to do a group cosplay and decided they would be Peppy and Slippy and because undergoing a gender change would be a little much just for cosplay. Seriously, it doesn't matter what gender they are, they did a good job! I mean, do you know how many Link cosplayers are females?

Re: Mewtwo amiibo Spotted In The Wild

Zelda64L

What I have to wonder is how they'll handle distribution. I mean, these are figures for DLC, so how would they work. Let's say I don't have the DLC installed, when I scan the Amiibo, will it tell me to buy it?
All I can imagine is some little kid who doesn't even know what DLC is really wanting a Mewtwo Amiibo (most kids aren't gonna know who Lucas and Roy.) and getting it only to find out that he can't use it.

Re: Hands On: Blast Ball Brings Crude Button Mashing and is a Poor Advert for Metroid Prime: Federation Force

Zelda64L

I personally won't judge the game until I see more of it or have played it myself, but I could care less about Blast Ball right now.
On terms of Federation Force, it actually looks pretty fun and enjoyable to me. It also seems nothing like the Metroid we know and love. But if I've learned anything about Nintendo recently, it's that they've taken a lot of ideas that I thought were bad and made something amazing and fun out of them. While I still think this game would've been better had they just made a new IP out of it, I'm still willing to try this new "Metroid".

Re: The Animal Crossing amiibo Range is Bigger Than We Thought

Zelda64L

I am tempted for the figures, that's for sure (they look so nice....) but the game they run with isn't catching my eye so far. Heck, I'd even consider them if they worked with Happy House Designer, but alas, they only work (so far) with that Amiibo Festival game. I want the figures, I really do, but I see no purpose for me to have so far.
I may have to get Isabelle, Digby, Cyrus, and Reese anyways sometime in the future just because of how nice they look, but, they're not going to be day one purchases.

Re: Poll: How Excited Are You About Nintendo's E3 Games?

Zelda64L

Must Have: (For me, this means that I NEED this game as fast as possible)
Star Fox Zero, ZeldaU, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Fire Emblem Fates

Want: (For me, this means I want it, but I can wait a bit to get it)
Super Mario Maker, Shin Megami Tensei X Fire Emblem, Fatal Frame: The Black Haired Shrine Maiden, Yoshi's Wooly World, The Legends of Zelda: TriForce Heroes, Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam, Metroid Prime: Federation Force/Blast Ball (Aren't they the same game?), Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer

Maybe: (I'm interested, but wouldn't be too upset if I didn't get them)
Hyrule Warriors Legends, Yo-Kai Watch

Don't Want/Not For Me: (I don't really care for these games)
Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival, Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash, Devil's Third, Skylanders Superchargers, Just Dance 2016

Re: The First Mother Game Is Finally Coming To The West As EarthBound Beginnings

Zelda64L

O_O
Oh... my... god...
NINTENDO HAS ALREADY Savage rainbow unicorn WON E3 FOR SURE.
Mother 3's chances just raised so high! So much so that I 'd be shocked if a Mother 3 localization DIDN'T happen.
And since Lucas was just released as Smash DLC, I'd say this was all planned...
EDIT: Umm... where did that "savage rainbow unicorn" come from? That wasn't there when I posted this.

Re: Feature: A Nintendo Fan's Guide to E3 2015

Zelda64L

I will be watching Nintendo's presentation live of course and will be following the Treehouse and the World Championships (though a little more casually on the latter).
I might check out Square Enix live, but I also might just look up what was announced (REALLY wanting Bravely Second to come to America which, i'm betting will happen, but who knows? I've had my heart ripped out before when it comes to localization.)

Re: Video: Let's Remind Ourselves How Totally Radical The 1990 Nintendo World Championships Really Were

Zelda64L

@JaxonH Yeah, my dad was a big gamer too, though he was 20 when the Championships went down.
I had played some PC games from when I was 3-7, but I really started gaming when I got a Gameboy Color and Pokemon Blue in 2005 (yeah, I know, the DS was already out but like a 5-yr-old like me knew that.)
We had a N64 with some really good games too (though I sucked at most) but I've loved video games ever since I got my beloved Gameboy.

Re: Sit Tight, Nintendo Will Announce Its E3 2015 Plans Tomorrow

Zelda64L

@The__Goomba That's for sure. I honestly feel like this year's E3 (for Nintendo at least) will dissapointing, or at least average. I just feel a sense of "What can they annouce?" for some reason.
I don't know, my hype is actually really low this year.
I'd kill for more ZeldaU details though.
It getting pushed back to 2016? That's alright. But Nintendo not talking about it AT ALL at this year's E3? No. That is NOT alright.
We've had maybe a total of 2 minutes of video for this game (1 min. and a half of which was viewed from a far away TV) and barely any details.
Give us something.

Re: Talking Point: What We Expect from Nintendo Direct - 1st April

Zelda64L

@Quorthon I don't mind it coming in 2015 or 2016. What I am upset about is the fact that it's skipping E3.
We know NEXT TO NOTHING about this game, and Nintendo even said that they planned on talking about it at E3 this. Then again, they also insisted an a 2015 release date around five times.
