Japan appears to be absolutely obsessed with the cute, cuddly and electric Pokémon, Pikachu. To celebrate the nation’s cultural obsession with the adorable pocket monster, for a second year in a row now, Nintendo has infested the coastal Japanese town of Yokohama with dancing Pikachu.
These giant-sized Pikachu are actually a pack of sweaty costume-wearing electric-types, with an extensive knowledge of multiple forms of dance including disco and hip-hop. Take a look at the four minute video below and tell us which moves impress you the most.

Thanks to Ryan Millar for the tip!

I'm pretty annoyed by pikachu to be honest, I fanboy over pokemon a lot, yes, but pikachu particularly is just so overrated IMO.
Although it probably would be pretty fun seeing those walking around.
Who's with them at 2:30, Jimmy T.? Hawaiian dance was pretty embarassing, tbh. The rest was a mix of funny/cute/cool.
Better grab a few pokeballs first before going there.
One of my favourite Pokemon, so more Pikachu is always nice.
Also, props the mascots... dancing in sync like that must have taken loads of insane practice!
I'm beginning to think that Japan is a mind altering drug
With more than three million people, Yokohama is hardly a town...
Ryan Millar gets all the scoops. He must be a real news hound.
This video gives me life.
Pikachu is life I love those videos where there's just like dozens of them everywhere
Dam those Pikachus got the moves (got me smiling and laughing the whole time in a good/childish way), especially the sailor Pikachus and the Pikachu with the cap. To pull off those movements in a costume like that must take a lot of energy and coordination.
