Zelda (and manga) fans have much to rejoice over as after a seven year hiatus, the female partnership of Akira Himekawa - the pen name for two manga artists working together since 1991 - will return to publish another series of manga based on Nintendo's legendary franchise.
No news as of yet as to when we can expect them to arrive specifically, but it is believed that it will be later this year as the pair are hard at work already.
Given the success of their previous work between 1998 and 2008, Nintendo clearly has faith in the mysterious matriarchs of manga.

Seven long years? They made the Skyward Sword manga four years ago. And Phantom Hourglass 6 years ago.
Himekawa has turned an awesome game series into awesome manga books. Looking forward to this, provided of course it manages to reach Italian stores as it has happened so far.

I'd like an actual Wind Waker manga and maybe a Twilight Princess one. A Link Between Worlds would be a perfect fit with their style.

Ah yes, the Zelda manga. I own every single one. Read them all a million times. Probably not going to buy these new ones.
Last time I heard of them they would tackle Twilight princess. But we'll see!
I need to pick up some of this manga and see how good it is.
The only one I ever remember reading was one on Ocarina of Time, and I didn't get very far. I'd be pretty interested in reading whatever new one they come up with.
I've read all of their Zelda mangas and I'm interested in seeing more.
