Re: Review: Hungry Shark World (Switch eShop)

Zeargo

I played this on mobile. I thought the gameplay was a little different to what I had imagined from the trailer. And I thought the world would be more exciting and adventurous. I was completely wrong. Everything was over the top on graphics and eating mechanics.

Re: Nintendo Hasn't Revealed Its Full 2018 Lineup, Says Outgoing President Tatsumi Kimishima

Zeargo

Although Nintendo throws out some nice surprises, now and than. Nothing great has been happening recently. E3 was a disappointment to me. Yeah they had Pokemon Let's Go and Super Mario Smash. But the Pokemon games just another remake with some changes, which raised a lot of concerns for me. While Smash is just another Smash game (like other game series such Mario Kart etc.) to the latest console. Only worthwhile mention was Mario Party.

So for what's coming at the end of this year? It better be good and exciting. And more appealing than E3, or I will feel Nintendo has lost value in there games and it's development.

It's also worth noting that the latest Metriod game is still in development since first made known last year. It's possible it's actually close to completion with a planned release at the end of this year. The other games in it's 'Strong lineup' would probably also include a new Mario or Zelda game. As well as other Wii U ports or remakes.

Re: Video: Watch Mario Battle Bowser In The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Zeargo

Breath of the Wild has XC2 content, and should get some Mario too. Supporting Link for a Mario costume + Bowser Boss. Although that Mario in the video needs work.

As for a Mario/Zelda crossover, I have always thought what it would be like if Mario was the one saving Zelda and Link saving Peach. Would be nice if it actually happens.

Re: DLC Review: The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild - The Champions' Ballad + Expansion Pass

Zeargo

The majority of the DLC is good (1 + 2), but the Armor being unable to be upgraded makes it pretty much useless. The start of the Champions of the Ballad is actually troublesome, and very odd they begin with such a difficult task, while it gets easier afterwards. Truthfully, I don't really see where the story is heading from start to end. Which makes everything rather uninteresting. Although the idea of the Bike is awesome, I don't really see the point why such a thing is added when you have horses in the game. Sorry, but this DLC 2 is 5/10 for me, while DLC 1 is a 8/10. To me, the Champions of the Ballad Main Quest should've been more likely added in the main game since it's so short. I would have liked to play a proper story quest with about 2-3 days at least worth of gameplay.

Re: Review: Ginger: Beyond the Crystal (Switch)

Zeargo

This is a fine example for why I don't trust reviews. They don't seem to know how to rate them well.

I played this game. Although it's not fantastic, it's not a terrible game. So a 5/10 for me. I haven't actually gone far, but the game lacks the adventure to explore and camera control is not that great at times. However, I feel like the game was created for a 10 year olds.

Re: Nintendo Switch OS Version 4.0.1 Is Now Available

Zeargo

I knew they forgot something in the last update, but I didn't seem to cross my mind they forgot to update the switch's stability to it's latest performance of stability. Now I can clearly see myself ready and stable for Super Mario Odyssey.

Re: OJO, The 'World's First' Switch Micro-Projector, Launches Its Indiegogo Campaign

Zeargo

I like the idea of a Switch Dock Projector, buy this kinda looks like a piece of junk to me. Why would they need to do a second fan for the switch? It docked into the projector, so how will it cool down the switch? To prevent the switch from overheating in the OJO sounds a little too much, especially since you should really need one fan. One fan to keep the OJO cool down will help prevent the Switch to overheat from the projector.

Clearly too much was done. If Nintendo did a projector, I am sure it will turn out a lot better.

Re: Review: Spelunker Party! (Switch eShop)

6? I think it's a little low for it. It's definitely a 7. I know some game play is not too good and the multiplayer screens are tiny, even for online, but it's still good in a lot ways that makes it a great to play, especially for friends.

Re: Nintendo Download: 19th October (Europe)

Zeargo

Definitely starting to feel a bit bad that I am not a fan of Fire Emblem. Never played any Fire Emblem games. I hope they do a Hyrule Warriors remake or a second game for the switch. I think the game would be a lot better for the switch, than the Wii U.

Re: The Latest Zelda: Breath of the Wild 'Tip' is All About Selfies

Zeargo

@Nincompoop I was thinking about multiplayer Zelda for a while since BotW launch. Maybe added as a DLC, which was something that came to my mind. Or as a new Zelda game that features a lot of what the Zelda game has + the rpg elements online games have. I think it will be perfect if done right and works well into the Switch with it's new online payment features when it's out.

Re: Batman - The Telltale Series Finally Gets Release Date Confirmation for Switch

Zeargo

I have mixed feelings about telltale as I never played a telltale game or believe it may not be as good as the Arkham series that was so enjoyable. Therefore I am on edge about this, but still looking forward to the possibility of playing it.

Although I already got my sights on Xenoblade 2, after enjoying the first game despite not yet finishing it. And Skyrim as well, mostly pushed into due to the Zelda stuff, despite the costume shown in the trailer looking freaky. Telltale game will certainly interest me more on the date, than these two.

Re: Review: Yono And The Celestial Elephants (Switch eShop)

Zeargo

I finished this game few days ago. It's a lovely small game that takes about 4 hours to beat. It is more a Puzzle Adventure game with a bit action. There is enemies, but very little of them. There is a total of three bosses. There is NPC interaction, some involving some scenarios like quests, requesting items in exchange typically for a reward. I personally gave this one also a 7/10. It was just a bit small in the adventure, which was mostly the only thing that disappointed me.

Re: Steep Is Still Coming To Nintendo Switch, Honest

Zeargo

That statement says a lot. "Ubisoft is still bringing the game to Switch. But we don't care a lot for the Switch as we like to bring our games to PS and Xbox."

Thumbs Up for Ubisoft to make sure to disappoint the Nintendo Supporters!

Re: Review: Wulverblade (Switch eShop)

This week, my eyes are on Yono. Although this game did look good, I decided to give it a pass. As I am a little unsure about it and I didn't want to find myself buying too many digital games due to limited space.
