The modding community has been quite strong for The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild, bringing new and bizarre changes to Nintendo’s awe-inspiring open world adventure. Whether it be the inclusion of an in-universe character, like a playable Zelda, or someone from outside, like Cloud, there seems to be no depth to the amount of creativity or ambition in the community. Now, a modder has finally brought together two of Nintendo’s biggest franchises, and the results are rather impressive.
If you watch the above video, you’ll see that modders WilianZilz and LynardKiller have produced some fairly high-quality models of Mario and Bowser, replacing the models for Link and Hinox, respectively. Seeing this makes one wonder why Nintendo has never gone for an official crossover between its two big franchises, though with E3 just around the corner, perhaps we may be surprised by what Nintendo has in store.

I think Link was almost too much in Mario Kart 8, so no. The best place for crossovers is Super Smash Bros.

Y'know what? I never thought I would want a Mario/Rabbids crossover until I played that game, so as long as the gameplay is good, I could see it happening.
Did you make a MODS like pokemon, super mario, rabbids and zelda. So how does work on MODS?.
Mario’s a little lanky, but that Bowser is PERFECT
I mean, I guess I’d be down with Hyrule DLC for Odyssey. Heck, Mario DLC for BotW. I mean it would be weird if it was considered canon but I don’t know if Rabbids is even canon.
Breath of the Wild has XC2 content, and should get some Mario too. Supporting Link for a Mario costume + Bowser Boss. Although that Mario in the video needs work.
As for a Mario/Zelda crossover, I have always thought what it would be like if Mario was the one saving Zelda and Link saving Peach. Would be nice if it actually happens.

That's a nice idea, but... I think that Link would easily deal with Mario's usual foes, but Mario may struggle with some of Link's enemies! Not sure what the little guy would do against a Lynel, for example! "Mama mia!!!"
I'd like to see some more "NES Remix" style games. Those were awesome and I can just imagine what fully remixed games would be like instead of the little minigames. N64 Remix anyone?

Very cool! But, I wouldn't want a full-fledged game.
Also, Link's voice coming out of Mario is very unnerving.
