Klonoa games have a light an breezy story...? Did the author of this review not reach the end of the first game or its Wii remake?

I'd love to see GBA games on the 3DS virtual console. Maybe as a New 3ds exclusive? It should be able to handle them, shouldn't it!

Not gonna lie there. "Castrated" is the term I use, heh. But all those things are still possible if you're determined to make the best of a bad situation. The flipnotes' .kwz files can be shared online, and you can export movies too. It's still a pretty good animation software for being a 3DS app.

@Rixor13 if you have a PC (not Mac) connected to the same network as your n3DS, you can access the SD card files wirelessly, no unscrewing necessary.

If you made a Flipnote good enough that you want to share it, grabbing a screwdriver is not that much of a bother anyway.

From their Facebook page, the controls will be improved, and customizable in the final release.

I might wait for a review or two. I'll probably end up getting it though. Of all the minecraft clones we've seen, this one might be the best-looking.

Ryu would be pretty cool! We really don't need a third Marth, though. I mean I guess it wouldn't take too long to make Roy as a clone, but we already HAVE a Marth clone.

I have mixed feelings. This constant expansion of the games feels almost like a mobile gaming business model. I'm reminded of the iOS version of Ghost Trick, where the download was free, but it only gave you the first 2 chapters...and then you had to pay for 3 "level packs" (ridiculous for this game!) or pay for the entire story all at once.

DLC has a LOT of advantages for Nintendo. There's the obvious case where somebody buys Mario Kart 8 for $60, then continues to buy DLC over a few years. But what if somebody buys Mario Kart 8 used from eBay? Nintendo makes no profit from that game sale. But if they buy the DLC, then Nintendo does profit after all.

With all the DLC, Mario Kart 8 is going to be absolutely huge. Far bigger than any other Mario Kart game so far. It's unprecedented. As mentioned in this and earlier articles, Mario Kart 8 has become a PLATFORM for Nintendo. I kind of wish they'd give Mario Kart 7 a similar amount of love — it's a lot of fun, but seems tiny in comparison to its Wii U sibling, with its DLC and 200cc.

I'd be very curious to see if Nintendo ever releases a "complete" version of Mario Kart 8 in the future, when they are no longer adding to the game.

I'm gonna say "nah" for now.

The only "extra" streetpass game I've bought so far is the Monster Manor one. Not sure which I will buy next. I have no interest in fishing, but it seems like it might be a good fit for Streetpass. Hmmm...

How would kids spend money anyway? If their parents left money in the eshop balance and didn't password protect it, that's on them. No idea about phone game micro transactions, but Nintendo has enough restrictions in place already. I suppose a sad bunny might be seen as emotionally manipulative to very young kids, but older fans ought to be able to see through him!

Huh, that's unexpected. I don't think I'll pick it up, digital is probaly good for me. Unless it's got a lot of new features.

His design is so terribly bad, and he'd make an awful fighter. It would bum me out to see him getting in rather than an interesting character. I wouldn't buy him. Agree 100% with @sinalefa

@B64111980 Not sure which one you're talking about. Crash Nitro Kart tried to be Crash Team Racing 2, but ended up being a little slower and heavier. Crash Tag Team Racing had some interesting ideas, but was flawed in its own ways. Neither of them innovated the genre in the way Crash Team Racing did on the ps1. Yes, it was definitely influenced by Mario Kart and DKR, but it more than stood on its own. And it's probably my all-time favorite game.

@AlexSora89 Damn, this looks even faster than Crash Team Racing to me! Mario Kart takes a TON of influence from that game. The boosts from drifting, the "hang-time turbos" you get from jumping off ramps. Hell, even the "gravity" gimmick in Mario Kart 8 is ripped right out of Crash Nitro Kart.

I really, really, really want a faster mode in Mario Kart 7!

...I'm guessing people are going to be selling download codes on eBay thanks to the "both versions" discount.

I could spend $4 on a 3DS Mewtwo, or I could spend $2.50 by buying both, and then selling the WiiU version for $2.50 on eBay, saving both parties $1.50 total.

It might look like chump change, but it's still interesting.

(Mostly I'm curious about the prices that the Club Nintendo codes will go for, a week or two early.)

Eh, this kind of thing is just pointless. If you want "realistic" or "practical" character designs, make your own characters.

Peach: this is pretty badass, and a well done picture. It shows a post-apocalyptic version of Peach with a huge bazooka. But it's only barely influenced by Peach's original design and personality.

Zero Suit Samus: The armor is pretty well-designed, and at least it knows what statement it's trying to make, unlike the Peach one: less sexy, more "practical." (No fun!)

Great Fairy: Not bad I guess, but doesn't really fit the style of Ocarina of Time. I do prefer it to the original, since those fairies are the most terrifying characters in the game. 0_0

Chun Li: No complaints about the new outfit. But that face is pretty ugly.

@TingLz It does change a lot, since saying "online gameplay is blocked" is blatantly incorrect. It's a factual error in the article that should be fixed if you care about the site's credibility.

This game is so obscure it's an exception to Rule 34. (Don't ask how I know this.)

It's definitely a "mid-tier" game, though! It's far from perfect, but it has a lot of charm to it. Bought it a few months ago, but haven't beat it yet. Hope it's released for a reasonable price, it deserves to be more well known.

@Ralek85 Oh, I definitely hope improvements are made in online. Smash has had huge improvements, but strange limitations still exist. For Glory should really include more than Final Destination. Customs should be an allowed in "With Anyone," even just as an option. So yeah, it won't be perfect, but I'm cautiously optimistic.

I'd love to see Splatoon on the 3DS. If it were a New3DS exclusive, I'd be persuaded to pick one up finally!

This game is so fun!

...Although I'm a little worried about the Deluxe update hurting the simplicity which made the game so unique. Makes a minimalist game, well, less minimal.
