@TimelessJubilee @Not_Soos Take this how you will, but in the 1980s (when he wrote many seminal works) he did a lot of cocaine. Like, a LOT of coke; he's stated that he barely remembers writing "Cujo".
I did enjoy his "Eyes of the Dragon", which is an epic fantasy. As a bonus, negative fan reaction to that book (because it wasn't horror fiction like they're used to from him) gave him the idea to write "Misery", which to me is more effective as horror than some of his other works that have more fantastical elements.

Good interview. Seeing as to how poorly the original "I, Robot" was received, there doesn't seem to be a high bar for a remake to be considered successful.

If Nintendo states that BotW and TotK comprise an extended dream sequence by Link (or Zelda) in one of the established timelines, they're gonna have to contend with a lot of peeved fans.

@somnambulance According to Wiki, it's been around since 2006, and has gone through a lot of mergers and acquisitions. Pokémon would be its biggest get for distribution, although not its first association with an internationally-known IP, as it's currently the majority owner of the Peanuts franchise.

@Vyacheslav333 It seems that you're not in the target market for Mario Kart 8. Which is fine — we all like different things — but given MK8D's overwhelming commercial and critical success, you'll probably be disappointed if you expect Nintendo to deviate from that toward your tastes for MK9.

@Vyacheslav333 Why is it weird and disappointing? A good Switch game is a good Switch game, regardless of whether it came out for the Wii U as well. The fourth- and tenth-best selling Switch games (Breath of the Wild, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe) are also available for the Wii U.
