Re: Video: Zelda And Mario Labo VR Support Points To A Switch Pro Console Idea

YessMasster

While Switch Pro would be neat, I do not see VR Labo indicating Pro coming. I think it's more like Nintendo tries to get more customers into Labo. I, for one, never considered Labo before, and now I already preordered VR. I also think that Nintendo may use the statistics to gauge the interest in more mainstream VR, so that when Pro does eventually come, there might be a more high-tech VR googles accessory or even VR dedicated console based on Switch.

Re: Senran Kagura Producer Leaves Marvelous After Frustrations Over Sexual Content Restrictions

YessMasster

I never understood why people of western culture have little problem with violence (event most kid shows have it, and I hope that everyone will agree with me that violence is generally bad and rarely justified), while nudity is considered wrong (while all of us are born naked, we are naked under our clothes, and more or less half the population has boobs* (*-replace with any other sex-related body part)). What is more, the art (and I consider games art no less than any other art form) often depicts nudity/eroticism and video games are the most censored form when it comes to this.

Re: More Than 1,800 Games Have Now Been Released On The Nintendo Switch

YessMasster

To me switch is a curious machine. When I browse the eshop I find less than 50 games that interest me, and I do not own even half of that yet. Been sinking hours into some amazing games (looking at you BotW) that call me time and time again. So, while I'm guessing that 90% of those games are not even slightly within my interest, I am far from telling anyone that there are no games for me to play there.

Re: God Eater Developers Discuss Possibility Of Third Game Coming To Switch

YessMasster

I honestly have mixed feelings about this. I am a fan of the series. Played GE1 on PSP, then GE2 and GER (re-relase of GE1) on PS Vita. And now, when GE3 is almost out they mention a "possibility" for GE3 on Switch, while I already preordered it for PS4. I would strongly prefer to play on switch and if they announced the game earlier, I'd be ready to wait longer to get portability. But now, I don't know if i'd rebuy it.

Re: Talking Point: What Do You Want From A Switch Mini?

YessMasster

I understand an appeal of mini switch sold without a dock but being able to be docked. I'd ask for clamshell though for more durability. However, I still would not get it since I already do have a switch. And what I'd consider a worthy upgrade would be a possibility of using wireless headset via Bluetooth.

Re: Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana

Even though the game was widely praised, and I liked the art direction I did not find this game that enjoyable, even though I consider myself JRPG fan. Battles were dragging and the game looked bit sub-standard. I give it 5/10

Re: Starlink: Battle for Atlas

Really cool game, I enjoyed it thoroughly. Using physical ships is extremely uncomfortable, however and the game itself is too short. Still, I have no regrets over having played it. Strong 8/10 from me

Re: Deals: There's Really Never Been A Better Time To Buy Starlink On Switch

YessMasster

I did get it during black friday sale in one of the local stores for more or less 50usd (about 33% off normal price), and I am not regretting it, although I do not enjoy prospect of not being able to sell it for decent price when I'm done with it. Anyways, it's really enjoyable game. Too bad it's not received better. But I understand people are bit put off by the fact they feel they need to buy extra elements to get weapons and ships

Re: Rumour Buster: No, Sony Isn't Launching A New PlayStation Portable To Rival Switch

YessMasster

I played literally thousands of hours on PSV and loved that platform. However, at the beginning of this year i decided to cave in and get Switch. Still, I used to be biased towards Sony. Still, I do not understand the decisions of that company. They had plenty opportunities to make Vita viable. Eventually, they stopped pretending to even try and decided to exit the handheld market. Still, as a customer I am happy as without those decision I wouldn't give Nintendo a chance and would not try gems such as BotW, XC2 or Octopath Traveler

Re: Soapbox: Nintendo's Riding High On Switch's Wave, But What Does It Need To Do To Stay There?

YessMasster

I own PS4 and PSV, and I'll be buying switch not to play all those multiplatform titles, because we all can play them by different means. This is more true as both PS4 and XBox have more powerful hardware. I am buying Switch now, however, to play all those exclusives and that is, I believe, the major strength of Nintendo. I am overly excited to get my hands of BotW, I always wanted to try Pokemon and that's just the beginning of the list. No other platform can provide those (I know, emulators, however, I try to play legally and support the manufacturers)
