Last weekend, it was revealed Limited Run Games was handling the physical release Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition for Nintendo Switch.
If you’re interested in picking up the Collector’s Edition of the game, it will set you back $59.99. This bundle becomes available for pre-order in the US on 1st February and will contain a copy of Another World (Limited Run game #26) sealed in a standard Nintendo Switch case with interior art and a full-colour manual. You'll also receive a poster, developer diary and a commemorative floppy disk (non-usable). Take a look below:
Get a limited Collector's Edition of Another World for the Nintendo Switch this Friday at 10am EST (more available at 6pm)!
There’s no information about just how limited this Collector’s Edition will be. Alternatively, you can order the standard edition, which is an open two-week pre-order, according to Limited Run Games.
Another World was released on the Switch eShop in June last year and was previously made available on the Wii U and 3DS. This Super Nintendo action-platformer classic was originally developed by Éric Chahi and the 20th Anniversary Edition has been developed by Digital Lounge and published DotEmu. For those who haven’t played it before, it’s a game about a young physicist who tears the fabric of reality and is transported to a mysterious alien world containing many dangers.

So instead of 54.99USD it becomes 59.99USD? And Switch owners are paying subsidy for another purchase again.
@SwitchForce that’s the price for the collectors edition wirh extra goodies. If you just want the game, you can get that. Limited run switch games tend to run between 29.99 and 34.99.
Sold!
Pass.
I've got the game on enough systems to keep buying it and the CE itself isn't that spectacular. The floppy disk is nice, but it's blank? Come on!
Got it on my 3DS, and realised, don't really like it. Love Flashback, but this game just annoyed the hell out of me.
I've played this game 27 years ago, and then recently on vita. While certainly a good piece of gaming history I just cannot find a reason to spend more than 10 EUR/USD on this game. Alright, give that another 10 for collector's goodies, for 20 total.
Another release of this game
I'll be content to just get a copy of the game by itself.
I've never played the game and have been collecting Switch physical releases of interest, so I might as well.
But I'll probably not pre-order on the first day in case they open other Switch pre-orders I care about.
It was a groundbreaking game in an era where it stood out. It had less than stellar gameplay and other issues. At $59.99 the publisher apparently thinks I have been on another world and would be willing to pay anything. Sorry it was interesting to repurchase until I saw the price. It does include some nice additions but leave them out, drop it $19.99 and I am in.
My collector mentality makes this of interest but my sensible side realizes that it's not something I need to get physical.
