I just purchased this to support you - it is a real shame it is being taken down, it looks genuinely fun and I'm quite excited to try it out!

I don't really understand what copyrights this is breaking, this is such a dumb reason to pull it ):

Re: Review: LEGO Marvel’s Avengers (Wii U)

Yai

I'm a little surprised to see this game be released to be honest. We already had a Lego Marvel game that worked really well and was fully open world with levels scattered about.

It just seems odd to make another game of the exact same thing.

Re: Nintendo Life Weekly: Star Fox Zero may be Delayed Again According to Rumours, Nintendo Selects and More

Yai

I hope this isn't going to be a mainstay for these weekly articles. This is the first time you have put something exclusively in them instead of it being a sum up video of the week's news. Not everyone wants to watch them vs reading about it instead!

On the subject of the delay though, I would not be surprised if it happens. From what we have been shown of the game it still needs quite a bit of polishing. xD

Re: Nintendo Download: 11th February (Europe)

Yai

Want to get Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Blue Rescue Team, my original cart got lost in the mall =(

So glad it is on VC, though they missed an opportunity to release it on the 3DS where it would be right at home. xD

Re: Review: Final Fantasy Explorers (3DS)

Yai

Glad to see it has the core hunting elements that makes MH so fun. I have this on preorder (Friday release here) and quite looking forward to it!

The ability system sounds really interesting and I can't wait to see what kind of customisation they allow you to do.

Re: Review: The Perplexing Orb (Wii U eShop)

Yai

It isn't a bad attempt I guess but I'm sure someone will come along and make a true Monkey Ball successor at one point. After the first 2 games and deluxe Monkey Ball got way too easy. The exception was the DS version as that was actually pretty good!

Re: Review: Terraria (3DS)

Yai

I own the PC version but I have to say this looks like a really good port.

The touchscreen controls are probably SUPER useful. Also 1.2 still has a lot of content such as "hard mode" that shows up later and is almost as big as the base game was before it. Honestly with the amount of content in the game by this point it should be very satisfying to play on the go. I'm considering picking this up myself.

Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 5 - 2010 to 2013

Yai

Easily my favourite gen. The story was amazing, especially with the sequel. I actually miss it quite a lot as Team Plasma actually felt like a real threat.

Compare that to X and Y where it was already obvious who the villain was the first time you meet Lysandre barely 4-5 hours into the game :C

Also I personally feel it was a huge step up from gen 4 which I found really boring and not a lot of it really stuck with me. The underground stuff was nice though I would have enjoyed that coming back in gen 5.

Re: Editorial: Let's Make 2016 a Year of Nintendo Optimism

Yai

I agree that 2015 was terrible. Really hope they don't repeat the same E3 tactic as last year of only showing games coming out in the next few months that we knew of already. Also please stop throwing "free to start" games at us. I feel the development that went into all of those could have been channelled into something more akin to a real title. :c

2016 looks promising only for 3DS I feel. A lot of titles are still coming out for it but the Wii U currently looks very barren. I think if it wasn't for Splatoon, Mario Maker and Xenoblade in 2015 it would be in serious trouble right now. (Not that it isn't struggling as it is).

I have high hopes for Zelda U whenever we get that (I'm not even going to assume it will hit until the very end of the year or 2017 considering the huge lack of info and comments from that interview last year that made it sound very early in development) but the problem with that game is when? And what else is there to fill the gaps.

I suppose all we can do is wait and see how things go. While my views aren't so good right now there is always the chance E3 will blow us all away!

Re: Mario & Luigi: Paper Jam Makes Underwhelming Debut in Japan, Yet Wii U Hardware Shows Impressive Growth

Yai

I'm surprised it is doing so badly to be honest. I've been playing it quite a bit and it is even better than Dream Team Bros. (which I really enjoyed to be fair, even if BiS was better).

It has all the classic Mario & Luigi humour and the battle system has been improved a ton over Dream Team Bros.

I wonder if it is lack of advertising. I haven't seen much info about it anywhere.

Re: Beenox Won't Be Working on Spider-Man Games Anymore

Yai

A little off-topic but how on earth can that blue spiderman see with no eyes!?

I haven't played any of the games personally but I'm glad the people within the studio get to keep working rather than being made redundant from no longer making spiderman games.

Re: Details Emerge on How Nintendo Accounts Will Work

Yai

This sounds like it's going to be much better than the old club nintendo. I hope this will also apply to purchases no longer being hardware tied, as they have avoided any mention of that in the reveal.

I'm quite excited about the new way points will work though! Maybe this is the death of those annoying surveys xD
