If I recall you could actually do this in Super Mario Kart... so in a way it is a homage to the original game. I don't really see a problem with it since it won't affect online too much with items and such flying about.

I ended up getting the PC version of this. It is a good game so I'm not surprised it is selling so well. If it wasn't delayed so much on Wii U I might have opted for that version instead.

Thanks for the guide, this is handy! Does anyone know if the online play is like MK7 in that it would scale your cc based on the ranking you had? I hated how after a while it only picked mirror mode when I would rather play 150cc.

Very nice! I completed this game using the gamepad controls (I absolutely loved how the gamepad was used in this title, being able to use it to multi-task was one of the best things about it) but this sounds like it might be even better. May have to try out some missions with it.

Big week! Probably getting MK8 physically but either way the free game makes the price tag more than worth it digitally.

Retro courses as DLC would be amazing. There are many courses I would love to replay such as Waluigi Pinball or DK Mountain.

Looks amazing! My only complaint is they keep picking the less fun retro courses. Cheep cheep beach keeps coming back ): Where are the fun courses like DK mountain or waluigi pinball?

My family used to play this back in the day. Multiplayer was always great fun, though in terms of gameplay the original quake is my favourite of the series.

Sounds like a great crossover, I have games from both series and looks like I will be picking this up when it's out. What an amazing month march is being for games. xD

Just got it. Kinda annoying that I can't backup Animal Crossing or Pokemon Mystery Dungeon but nice that games like Fire Emblem are covered!

Was really hoping for something on the scale of Mario Galaxy, so I am a little disappointed. However it likely will still be fun to play so won't entirely rule It out.

I guess it is understandable if the previous games sold that badly.. I'm getting this day one most likely as I love the series. If it means other games in the series could be brought over that haven't then I hope that this game sells well. Phoenix Wright is a really unique game but insanely compelling. xD

Playing Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity since it released last week here. I was worried at people's general reactions to this entry in the series but after having played it through I love the game!

Also Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D because I never played the Wii version and I had no idea it was this good. xD Trying to hold out until AC:NL though..

Cannot wait to see what the 3D mario will be like. Mainly because it has been ages since a game with the calibre of things like Galaxy or 64. Smash as well, as I found Brawl pretty amazing. I wonder if they will show some new big secret thing as well o:

Honestly getting a bit tired of Ubisoft making these instead of Rayman =( Though if this game turns out to be decent I'll try it.

Not sure if I will buy it though, some of the new designs are meh. Overall the game is probably really awesome though.
