They might be with their new phone game.

They could just keep the set number of Pokemon and work on the gameplay, side activities, features, and story if adding more is too hard for them.

It doesn't really look impressive from a gameplay or story perspective.
Platinum games usually don't offer too much outside the main game which are usually short.

Hopefully the dlc will be more then just fetish outfits.

Disappointed in with no national dex, terrible reused animations, poor pop in draw distance, disconnected low res scenery are among other things that really show that Gamefreak are being incompetent to a larger audience that's finally taken notice.

They don't care since it will sell anyway and there are a line of people who are ready to defend any poor decision they make.

Why not delay the game so you can work out all the Pokemon into the game?
With as big of a franchise as this is its embarrassing how lazy they are when comparing to other big franchises that go the extra mile for their games.

I never understood why people are so happy to see these trainers again.
You don't fight them, you fight their Pokemon that multiple trainers have so they aren't unique and the trainers themselves don't really have any character/personality to them at all.

This series is filled with unrealized potential that I wish they capitalize on!

I whole heartily agree on that bad twist. Although they were trying to retcon that by saying that its actually another universe instead of what it is (I don't want to say because of spoilers) but I'm not sure what came of that.

I just hope they aren't lazy with Sword and Shield.
Can we get Blastiose to shoot water out of his connon this time?

Injustice and Mortal Kombat story mode is as much hype or more then the fighting.

I would like to see the return of NES games and that puzzle game from New Leaf, but with multiplayer!
Also they could have more minigames you can play for activities like in Stardew Valley and whatnot.

There's only one way to win and that's by going fast.

Most of these feel like they should be unlockable in game.

As long as we can use a normal controller then I'll be happy.
Also hopefully this doesn't mean there will be main features that require you to be in handheld mode.

They also have some NES ans SNES pi systems with 300+ games on them that you can buy form Amazon or Ebay

When I bought that game my internet was so slow that I wasted the free 30 days just trying to install it.

I would love for the NES games to reappear as winnable prizes.
But I feel they'll never go back to that.
