Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive

Once we get past this week, what Nintendo Switch games are there to anticipate? Probably the next one most likely to be released is Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition. It's been rated in various regions, listed on the Switch eShop, and has appeared on the website of a Danish online retailer.

Now to add to this, Amazon Mexico has updated its page for the Definitive Edition, and it's listing a 29th May 2020 release date. That's the same date listed by the Danish retailer with a history of listing information (including video game launch dates) ahead of schedule. According to the fine folks over at GoNintendo, the date itself lines up with a Friday, which makes a lot of sense for a Nintendo Switch release.

Could we perhaps officially find out when this game will be released next week? If last week's rumour is anything to go by, there should be a Nintendo Direct happening on the 26th March. If that's the case, we'd expect Nintendo to lock in a date for Xenoblade Chronicles then and there. It's also worth pointing out that the first part of this rumour predicted a Nintendo Indie World Showcase would air this week, and it did!
