Amazon Mexico Lists May Launch Date For Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition

Direct soon it seems!! That rumor just seemed oddly weird with timing as it came right before the stir of E3 being canceled. Really hope it was true tho, could definitely need a direct rn. The indie one didn’t have many game’s I was interested in but it wasn’t a total bummer. Grateful we got something. Fingers crossed for an announcement soon next week!

I hope the rumor is true though I’m worried they’ve not done enough leading up to its launch for it to sell well. That cover art is terrible.

I would expect June for a 10th anniversary thing, and I'm with everyone else with the cover art. The original cover art would work just fine.

Looking much more likely that Xenoblade DE will release in May.
Seems like the rumors of a direct for next week could be right since they got the indie direct spot on this week.

That cover looks like it should be the actual artwork then a 6 year old has stuck stickers of their favourite characters on the front.

I hope in Nintendo direct we will see even a brand new pac-man from 80's.
Ah... and don't forged the price must be at least 150 euros!!! Very cheap price for a past decady game from nintendo!!!

I swear nobody is going to buy this. When they released it on the 3DS, the pitch was, "Those of you who wanted to play Xenoblade but didn't have a Wii can now finally play this masterpiece!". Now they're putting it out again, but almost everyone who wanted to play it has already played it.

I'm super in!!! never had a wii, played XBC2 and LOVED! thirsty waiting for this one!! I heard the combat is old and kinda trash, I hope they improve.. now ill be able to answer the question, rex or shulk!

Day one, hope this date is correct.

This date will be topical if/when Nintendo spells it out, especially in this period of delays and whatnot. So will the cover art depicted, although screw complaints - for me a cover/icon with Fiora on it could only become any more welcome if they added in Melia for good measure (but hey, Shulk works as well).

I think XC2 is one of the best RPGs available for the switch and never got this game so I can't wait for this release... If it's even half as good as XC2, day one for me

Never played a Xenoblade game. I recall seeing the Wii version in stores sell for $40 so heck, the switch version sounds like the best way to go. You get the portability and the remastered HD resolution.

Yes it's not exactly the best box art is it, let's hope more attention has been paid to the game itself. That box art is one to hide away in the back of the cupboard and not display prominently on the shelf.....

Man, hopefully that's just placeholder box art, or that some regions will get different/better designs. Not that it's bad, but I find it to be underwhelming.

At least we know the full package coming is an excellent one. Still getting this day 1, which is rare for me.

@Paranoid_Android oh my goodness you're in for a treat! Much as I love XC2, the original is just so much better! Plus they're adding in cut content so this is how the game was truly meant to be played! Can't wait 😁

It's great we will have this on May, but why so late? I hope it's not the only game they are planning to release on that month.

From the footage they've shown, it looks like a port. But if it turns out to be a remake with new features, it'll make a whole lot more sense.

Wow, thanks for the link! The second video really makes it obvious this is a remake, and it's definitely an improvement over the original. I might have to play this game again.

@Joriss Xenoblade 2 is very different from Xenoblade 1. In my opinion, 1 is better but you can play any of the games because they are all separate games with different stories.
