I love SpongeBob but I think just the base game will do for me. Also waiting on reviews as licensed games generally aren't that great.

Looking forward to the remake, and the contents of these collectors editions appear quality; the fact they produced these (and the remake being created in general) is proof that the developers understand the fondness and appreciation fans have for what is often initially perceived to be another mediocre licensed game. But I’m passing on these. The items included aren’t necessary for me. If THQ Nordic asked me to buy one of them, I’d run off after saying (in the words of the sponge) : “I think I have fudge in my pants...”.

I think I learned by lesson a long time ago when it comes to these special editions, there's only so much space for this type of thing.

I've already pre ordered BFBBR for £30 then the day after I got an email saying the game is now £25 so I ended up paying £5 more

Spongebob battle for bikini bottom has very unique designs for the robot enemies I think they should of included them in the figures to represent the identity of battle for bikini bottom more. Otherwise this looks like any kind of sponge bob toy

Honestly the stuff included looks really cool, I would consider picking up one of the collectors editions for the right price. Fingers crossed these get a dramatic price cut down the line lol

I’m a fan of collector/special/limited edition games but why have a lot of companies gone the route of statues?? It just drastically drives up the price and makes my living space seem cluttered

Give it a bit of time. It will go down in price.
A lot of CE's go down in price after a few months of not selling.
I buy A LOT of CE's, and this is a common method for less wanted CE's of games

$300 seems a bit much unless those are massive statues. Maybe they hope to get Johnny's first college job money buying everything he couldn't have as a kid.

I’m not someone who loves this game, I’ve never played it. I’ll pick up a copy, I’m sure, but I’m not splurging on this edition... though the socks do interest me... for some reason...

I feel like the target audience here is the hardcore Sponeborg fan who REALLY wants those figures... and will take the game as an added bonus, rather than the other way around.

I think I will stick with just the game for roughly 30 EUR. Also still have the original Bikini Bottom on GameCube, though never played it. Heard it's great!
