Wow, Zero Gunner 2 would be awesome, but I HIGHLY doubt that it will be appearing on the Switch. That would require emulating Naomi/Dreamcast hardware and I don't think the Switch is powerful enough to do that.
I can see the Sengoku Ace games making it though. There was also a third game in the series that was only released on the PSP in Japan. Maybe we can get the whole trilogy.
These look nice. I think the price is fair when you consider the work they do to make that. The joy cons are 80 bucks alone. But these have custom red buttons and a paint job that may require a lot of work. Off a production line, it probably isn't worth 200 bucks. But this is a high quality custom item.
The only reason I have a 2DS is because I won it in a Keymaster machine. Got it on the fifth try. Nice to have in the collection, but I always play with the 3D on all my 3DS's. I'll pass on the 2DSXL until GameStop sells them in a bag for $40, which is what they are selling the DS Lite for these days.
I found one a couple of weeks ago. Ended up spending a lot for all the games and accessories to go with it. Grand total of $700. As I was checking out, I asked the Target clerk about the yellow joy-cons that also came out that day. I told him I was going to cancel the whole transaction if they didn't have them...
Wouldn't you know it? Those shady store clerks were keeping them in the back of the store for themselves. He reluctantly went in the back and got them for me because he didn't want to cancel the transaction already in progress.
I've always dreamed of self-driving cars since I was a kid. Never mentioned it to anyone...never talked about it. Today is the first time I'm reading SOMEthing about it. Is it going to happen? Maybe not in my lifetime, but still nice to hear it came up as some sort of idea.
Did anyone notice the top right of the screen showing the speed and timer on the F-zero game? The screen doesn't seem to be big enough to display the whole image of the game. It's trimmed on the right side. HUGE deal breaker for me. The retro-bit retro advance that I have does that, too, but trims a little off the top and left of the screen.
Come on, Retro-bit! Make a GBA clone that will display the whole image on the screen.
If you guys like this sort of thing I would HIGHLY recommend getting your hands on 'Terranigma'. North America never got an official release. But it is the third in the 'Soul Blazer/Illusion of Gaia' series.
It comes down to one game that I ultimately enjoyed more than any other game: Super Mario Maker! I put a lot of time into that one game. I enjoyed the WiiU regardless of it's negative history. I think people are just missing out. I really don't see how the Switch is going to be a major improvement...it's all about the software, imo. Hope SMM comes out on Switch really soon!
You are correct. The black cartridges work on both Game Boy and Game Boy Color. But it is worth noting that sometimes when a save file is created on a GBC system, it may no longer work on a GB. This happened with Wario Land II. But once that save file is deleted, it will work on both again.
Looking on the bright side, the WiiU will be a bit rare in comparison to the previous systems. If you are a retro gaming collector, then you know what I mean.
Geez, it's hard to make the charts when they only have one copy of Fed Force sold at each store. I had to travel a longer distance to get my copy of the game. Gamestops in my area were sold out of them in the first few hours of release. I guess Nintendo was only testing the waters to see how well it sold before making more hard copies. This is what they did when they released Devil's Third. They shortened the supply to potentially heighten the demand. I hope Fed Force doesn't suffer the same fate as Devil's Third, which will no longer have online play by the end of the year.
Got the New 3DS at a Target that was not so close to home, the only one left within a 20 mile radius. Went on amazon and I got the Fire Emblem cover plates...I had a good birthday.
Wow, it's been almost 30 years since that Christmas when I got Metroid, Kid Icarus and The Legend Of Zelda on the same day...now I feel old...
If you are a Super Mario Maker fan and if you like music levels, here's my rendition of my favorite musical piece from the Brinstar Depths (aka Kraid's Lair):
So, I just found out that Yacht Club Games will be publishing this game. Can't wait to get my hands on a physical copy of the dual pack they are coming out with. Very Cool!
Castlevania sure has taken a nose dive since Lord of Shadows. I miss the old Techno/metal/classical soundtracks they used to have. Order of Ecclesia was the last best one they had.
Splatoon is a blast and took up most of my time earlier this year. It would have been my vote for GOTY. But Super Mario Maker came around and I really don't want to play anything else. I haven't made that many levels, but I put a lot of effort into the one's I do put out. Made a few friends on there, play each other's levels, and bring in more people into our circle. The MiiVerse is a huge help and the forum on this website helps a bit, too.
Bought one on day one. The TRU that is walking distance from my house sold out of them in the first hour. So I traveled 30 miles to another TRU that still had 4 left, and I picked up MewTwo along the way.
I really don't see anyone fighting for those Animal Crossing amiibos, though.
He may have lost the case. But I'm willing to bet that, right now, Billy Mitchell is just loving all the attention he is getting. Yes, we are feeding his very large head.
@Aneira I wholeheartedly agree with what you said. I really don't like Billy Mitchell's condescending tone of voice. The huge head with arms is probably a caricature of his over-inflated ego.
Sparkster (or 'Rocket Knight' for Sega Genesis fans) is definitely an underrated series. The eShop should heavily consider getting those games on there. The boss battles were very difficult, but can be easier with the VC restore points. Hope you got to enjoy the 'Rocket Knight' remake that came out as a downloadable game for Steam, Xbox 360 or PS3 in 2010.
Thank you. I generally don't like auto-levels either. There are some impressive ones out there. But after making this level, I realized how difficult it is to make a musical one. I'm glad you liked it.
I have owned every Nintendo console and handheld, even some Game & Watches. Loved everyone of them. Sadly, it has become more of a niche these days. But, I can't imagine Nintendo ever dying. They've had longevity for more than 100 years and hit a lot of bumps on the road. I don't want to think about this 'doom & gloom' when I'm playing Super Mario Maker and Splatoon, or any of the 100's of games I have in my (mostly Nintendo) game library. If there's 'only' a million or 2 of us playing those games, that's still a lot of people to cater to. All hope isn't lost.
I did like the first auto-level I played. Like others have said, there are way too many. Personally, I'm thinking about making one so that it'll get popular, then people can check out my other designs. I've spent already a month only making two levels and I did the best I could to make them 'likable' and simple enough to not frustrate anyone. But if I have to make an auto-level to achieve a higher status, then that's what I'm going to do.
@faint Thanks for the reply. Being a musician in a band that is signed to an indie label, I thought that, maybe, the same rule applies to video game characters. Shantae first appeared on a big-time label...Capcom. WayForward has been publishing Shantae games on their own since then, so technically she can be considered an 'indie' label character. But that's kind of like when Led Zeppelin published their own records on their own label (Swan Song Records). I'm sorry to say, but they were never an 'indie' band. That's just my logic on the whole thing.
Is there anyone here that remembers "VS. Excitebike" as an arcade game?
Yeah, and there was "VS. Ice Climber" and "VS. Mach Rider" and "VS. Super Mario Bros." and even "VS. Castlevania". These were in the United States. They all were 'slightly different' from the NES versions.
Glad to see that the kids enjoyed the film. I can see why they would. So then the right thing for me to say is that the target audience is us thirty-to-forty-somethings with kids...Fun for the family.

Re: Hey! Pikmin Shows Nintendo Still Has A Soft Spot For Rare
Call this a crazy theory if you want. But, I don't think Microsoft bought out Rare to use as an asset. It was to cripple Nintendo's business.
Very much like how Apple is now 'competitively' buying out parts needed to make Nintendo Switches. These guys aren't playing fair.

Re: Double Dragon IV Packs an 8-Bit Punch But Isn't Confirmed for Switch, Yet
Double Dragon IV?
I know there was never a Double Dragon titled as 'IV', but the SNES had Super Double Dragon and then there was Double Dragon V.
I always assumed that 'Super' was 'IV'.

Re: Random: Double Dragon 3D, a Suspicious Remaster of The Revenge, Pops Up on Steam Greenlight
