Re: Game Freak is Recruiting For New Console Game

Tulio517

@BLP_Software I don't think Masuda or GF as a whole would oppose to the idea of main games on Switch. The 3DS is sooo outdated by now. And since Nintendo isn't releasing a new handheld any time soon, it's only logical. And Ishihara seems to be on board too. It's gonna happen, and this news just puts more weight to speculation. Switch provides the portability Pokémon fans want, that's all that matters. It may not be the next game, but if not this year, then surely the next generation.

Re: Talking Point: The Nintendo Switch Pitch - A Jack of All Trades

Tulio517

I think it doesn't really matter. As Reggie and Iwata kept saying over and over, games sell hardware. This time it looks like the'll do it right with a bunch of great games within the first year. C'mon, Pokémon, Breath of the Wild, 3D Mario... Even the enhanced ports of Wii U games matter here, nobody had one. The added portability is just a bonus (and an excuse for a Pokémon game).

Re: Different Time Periods, New Pokémon and Snap-style Mode Confirmed for Pokémon Sun and Moon

Tulio517

From the Pokémon Sun and Moon website:

A thorough analysis of the secrets of the two different worlds of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon!
Some of the Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are different. What's more, there’s a difference in the way time is set in the two games.

Except for a few scenes, time in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon is tied to the actual time. Pokémon Sun operates on the same time as your Nintendo 3DS system, but time in the world of Pokémon Moon is shifted by 12 hours.

Some of the Pokémon that appear in Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon are different—including Solgaleo and Lunala, which hold the key to the story. It seems that some of the Pokémon that appear as Totem Pokémon in the trials are also different.

Re: Reaction: Nintendo Shakes Up E3 With No NX and a Focus on Legend of Zelda

Tulio517

"Absolute insanity."

That's it. Zelda being the only playable game proves that there's not much left for Wii U. How can they not show NX at E3?! This is disastrous. Only time will tell what impact this move had on its sales and overall public perception, but E3... Nintendo's E3 is ruined. It's gonna be as bad or worse than last year's. I'm sure Zelda is gonna be awesome, but that's it.

Re: Pokémon the Series: XYZ Airing On Cartoon Network In February

Tulio517

I watch the japanese dubs, which is a bunch of episodes advenced. The XYZ series is good. It has a great start, but it doesn't take long until the "filler" episodes where nothing important happens appear. The thing with the pokémon anime is that they can drag it on for as much time as they want, with little plot development between episodes. XY games were announced in January, btw.

Re: Poll: Are You Optimistic About Nintendo's 2016?

Tulio517

On a personal level, not much. I'll surely get the games on Wii U and 3DS, but as much as I'm curious to see what the NX is, I'm not getting it in the foreseeable future. Ever since Nintendo left Brazil prices have been ridiculous. It's hard enough to "maintain" the ones I got, NX will have to give place to my trusty PS4 and its PS Store price drops.

Re: Feature: A Pokémon Retrospective: Generation 4 - 2006-2010

Tulio517

Gosh, gen 4 was awesome. So many memories. I just love Platinum so much, can't way to go back to Sinnoh again. I had a lot of fun with Battle Revolution too. The first time I saw the trailer with a Pikachu using Discharge at the beautiful Waterfall Colosseum... wow. In my mind, that game is as gorgeous as we see Pokkén now. And Mystery Dungeon, what a great story. @HandheldGuru97, you should really play Sky, it's so good!

Re: Poll: Nintendo's Free-to-Play Experiments - Are You Still Playing?

Tulio517

The Badge Arcade is such a cool little app. I'm loving it, and my Home Menu looks great, even without spending a single penny. I played Shuffle and Rumble for nothing more than a week, but had for while doing it. Also, I've considered buying Pokémon Battle Trozei on the eshop just because I played Shuffle. It's also worth noting that there paid Rumble games on both Wii U and 3DS, and I guess there's Picross on 3DS too.

Re: Splatoon Bundle Boosts Wii U Sales in Japan as Project X Zone 2 Struggles

Tulio517

If I were a japanese guy about to buy a Wii U, I'd be really mad that there's a bundle with just Splatoon in my region, and another with Splatoon AND Smash in the west. It's kinda like the 1Tb PS4 for me here. I want one, it's been released in Europe, but NA only gets that horrible CoD bundle. I've decided to wait until they stop pretending we don't know what's going on overseas.
