I'm super excited that this finally made it to the NA Wii U VC, Going to show my support and upgrade these from the Wii to Wii U. Can't wait to revisit them again!
@TheDavyStar The Wii version as well as the EU Wii U version includes that part in the digital manual that comes included with the digital copy of the game.
@Grumblevolcano @InternetBowser That's not going to happen, Nintendo owns 10% of DeNA and DeNA owns 1% of Nintendo, sure Nintendo could sell that 10% and move on, but why would DeNA ever feel the need to sell their 1% of Nintendo? One way or an other, they will be dealing with each other for the long foreseeable future. Also I don't think DeNA is the issue necessarily with how slow the app is. As DeNA's own mobile apps are WAY faster than Miitomo, I'm sure since AC and FE are going to be more game experience apps that they will run more smoothly just like DeNA's other games. I'm sure DeNA will make a way better online infrastructure in comparison to anything Nintendo could make themselves. I'm positively optimistic that this deal will give the NX a great online infrastructure (something that I believe Nintendo could never really accomplish themselves (at least not so soon)). Only time will tell, with the the slick My Nintendo and the almost instant communication between Miitomo, eshop and miiverse to our Nintendo Accounts (DeNA clearly did all this), I'm positive DeNA will do a great job with NX. That's their one job after all. haha
"Management and investment in stores", does that mean Nintendo will finally open more Nintendo Store around the World? I don't see why they would change the Nintendo World Store to Nintendo NY if they aren't planning on expanding to make more stores like Nintendo Paris, Nintendo Toronto, etc.
@LegendOfPokemon @Bolt_Strike I could see a Café au N being opened in Tokyo (at least first maybe more later), but I see a huge problem with this, Nintendo probably doesn't want large groups (for example) of Monster Hunter to come and play for 4 hour sessions (or more) but only buy 1 drink while there are a ton of people outside waiting for a table. As it's a Nintendo cafe, it will be a great place to meet and play with other Nintendo gamers, so this will happen. Unless they implement a 1 hour time limit?
@peeks No Nintendo has never had a 5 year life span for ANY of their handheld consoles.... Between new generational launches: Gameboy was 9 years. Gameboy Colour was 3 years. Gameboy Advance was 3 years. Nintendo DS was 7 years. Nintendo 3DS is currently 5 years, but will be 6 years by the time the NX comes out.
@GoldenGamer88 Way to much current films representation... So many Marvel and Star Wars characters and yet only Mickey, Minnie, Sorcerer's Apprentice Mickey and Donald..... Aladdin, Jasmine, Tickerbell, Mulan, Baloo, that's it for the classic Disney animations.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GRws3Y4yUXE You can even see them all there...
Well that REALLY SUCKS BALLS! No offence to Nintendo, but that "alternative" bundle is bananas in comparison.... I feel sorry for those who miss out. Why can't Nintendo just make more copies! It's not like they are going to lose money by producing more. Even if they make over the amount of pre-orders, they will sell out quickly in stores anyways... I missed my chance for the SE here in Canada, and I DO NOT plan to buy the other version and/or get the digital content, I'll find a new copy someday or I'll get it used. I would much rather give Nintendo my money but they haven't given me much choice, I'll have to go used if I can't find one new.
Alright! I've been wanting to see it implemented in the smash scene. Although, I think 3v3 might be better but hey it's a start. Sure this mode may be chaotic with 8 low level players, but could be really good in a pro level fight. I wonder how the rules will work when it comes to selecting levels and characters. Can you have 4 sheiks v 4 sheiks? I believe this style of play would certainly breath new life in lower tier character. I'm looking forward to see this! ^__^
I'm just hoping they don't reveal NX via Nintendo Direct... That would only preach to the choir, and some news outlets. BUT if they go to Tokyo Game Show or bring back their Space World to unveil the NX and allow people to see it, touch it and play it, they will get all the media attention AND a much larger number of people will see it rather than the mostly shrinking fan base that watch the Directs..... Directs cater to Nintendo fans, the NX shouldn't be shown only to us, it needs to be shown to the world at an actually real world event, not online only....
@VanillaLake I tested it. It works either way. The signing into My Nintendo, will give you 30 coins but they are placed in front of your boxes. You must "collect" them. The other 30 coins for visiting the official webiste (it's the official Nintendo.co.uk in your case) however, are automatically added to your pile of coins, there is no coin to collect, there is no "congrats" for getting it. All that happens is that you coin number will have gone up by 30. I was the same for my Japanese 3DS and visiting Nintendo.co.jp. If you still don't see anything, my last recommendation would be to note down you coins sunday night. On monday, sing-in in to My Nintendo (watch you coins they should be the same). Pick up your coins (note that down), then visit Nintendo.co.uk, then check you My Nintendo again (your coin sum should have gone up by 30).
Have any of you Nintendo Life editors ever been to the A-bomb Dome Museum in Hiroshima? Your piece may be different if you had been. Hiroshima was essentially chosen over Kyoto at the last minute due to the fact that Hiroshima was a beautiful sunny day with no clouds in the sky, where as Kyoto was not. The Americans needed a clear sky to be able to fully see and record the destruction caused by the a-bomb. Hiroshima due to it's clear skies was the preferred test subject over Kyoto. Sure that man is mentioned in the Museum, but if Kyoto had a clear sky, they would have continued with their plan of bombing Kyoto. They also wanted to end the war before Russians moved in on Japan, the Americans wanted complete control over Japan after the war, they didn't want to share any of it with the Russians.... Ultimately, Kyoto's "savior" wasn't this man, it was Hiroshima's clear skies. And honestly, why write a what if article related to such a sensitive topic? There is no good way of spinning this.
According to these two lists, the US and Canada (as the Canadian stuff is identical to the US ones) don't get equal treatment. Ex. 1) Yoshi's Wooly World - US 15% off 750 PC/UK 20% off 600 PC Ex. 2) LoZ: ALBW - US 15% off 600 PC/UK 20% off 300 PC Ex. 3) Splatoon - US 30%(not 15%) off 140 GC/UK 40% off 100 GC PR = Platinum Coins, GC = Gold Coins (in case your wondering).
Like c'mon those are terrible deals on the US and Canada side... Does the UK get more generous deals because it's one of Nintendo's weaker countries? I'd love to see a comparison between the UK and FR/GR.
It appears that the wording for the UK and CAN are different. Could be either from that wording. But it should be the same though. Try signing in to My.Nintendo.com then visit the Nintendo.co.uk AND Nintendo.com (just to be sure). Then sign out and sign back in to your account on the Nintendo.co.uk or nintendo.com site (not from my.nintendo.com a second time).
@VanillaLake Did you check your Points History log? You get 30 coins for logging into your Nintendo Account, regardless of where you sign in (you should find these coins laying in front of you coin boxes). The other 30 coins are obtain by simply visiting Nintendo.co.uk while logged in (I think they are automatically added to your total). Check your log, and if you don't see "Completed: Visit the official Nintendo website while signed in to your Nintendo Account (weekly)". Then try logging in both ways. I've got 3 account, including a Japanese one (all linked to NNIDs), so I'm going to check multiple methods to get those 30x2 coins on Monday when the week resets.
@VanillaLake Yes you get the points for simply logging into your account. You can log into your Nintendo Account from either my.nintendo.com or any official Nintendo website. BUT if you sign in through my.nintendo.com don't forget to check out the official nintendo website otherwise you'll miss out on the other 30 coins.
@Tsurii @TheY @Moon, That's a little miss leading , you don't get 30 platinum coins for signing into the nintendo.co.uk page and it IS in your Points History log.
As written from the log:
Visit the official Nintendo website while signed in to your Nintendo Account (weekly)
Any Nintendo website is fine, be it : .ca .com .co.uk any will do. You simply need to visit said webpage while logged in to your account.
As shown in the log:
Completed: Collect the My Nintendo sign-in bonus (weekly) +30
Completed: Visit the official Nintendo website while signed in to your Nintendo Account (weekly) +30
Completed: Sign in to Nintendo eShop (weekly) +30
Completed: Sign in to Miiverse (weekly) +30
+120 platinum coins just like you were saying.
@JaxonH I'm fairly sure those are the coins for signing into our Nintendo Account (My Nintendo). As Moon said, you don't get your sign in platinum coins until you pick them up on the ground in front of your boxes. As for the coins for visiting the nintendo webpage while logged in to your account, I'm really not sure yet. I'm going to figure that out next Monday, when I can sign in again. All accumulated coins are indeed logged. Only "Completed: Discover a secret mission" will give you +10 platinum coins, all the weekly ones are +30. So I'm not sure where you are getting that extra +10
@OorWullie Yes you do, any non Mario character (including Yoshi, Diddy and DK) will give you this little cube block/robot character named Mini Spec (he has no special abilities), which will only allow you to play the main path levels (about 10 or so). If you use any one of the 10 Mario related characters, it will unlock there own dedicated world which consists of 4 levels each. That gives you a total of 50 levels, but there is supposed to be over 60 levels, so I'd imagine there are some secret levels too.
@NintyMm an Any Mario amiibo will unlock mini Mario, including the 2 for SMM, the Smash one and the Dr., as well as the normal and gold Super Mario Range. Only the Silver once doesn't seem to be compatible in the Japanese version (as the silver has not been released here). So scan you gold Mario, you'll get your mini Mario. I've enjoyed it, only played the Yoshi and Rosalina section though. Here's a link to the japanese character page: https://www.nintendo.co.jp/wiiu/ap5j/chara/index.html
@Nintendude789 @Miles_Edgeworth That's a little misleading there Miles... The PLATINUM points give you access to (most likely) free mii costumes, 3DS themes and other things that they'll announce in the future. The GOLD points are the ones used to get discount coupons so that you can get digital games for cheap or even free (depending on how many points you have I'm sure). My guess is that they are rewarding those who pre-register with platinum points to encourage them to use the point in Miitomo (in hope that you'll want more), but they will last 6 months so maybe we'll get the chance to use them on the other Nintendo smartphone games or 3DS themes.
@Aloth There is no co-op at least for the main campain in HWL. I have no idea if there is any sort co-op feature in this game, but I doubt it. I don't count sharing your fairies with other players. It seems to be a single player only game. I myself was interested in this game to play with my wife, but the lack of co-op is a deal breaker, plus it seems to run terribly on the old 3DS models.... which I own...
@Socar SEGA and other Japanese publishers are definitely affected, but in SEGA's case, I'm sure they were not hit as hard as Nintendo, Nintendo is reliant on selling products outside of Japan. Sure SEGA does sells games overseas, but they are also reliant on many products that are exclusive to Japan, such as arcades, and pachinko (that's a big money maker). Nintendo has very few arcade machines and zero pachiko (to my knowledge), therefore Nintendo is affect more than companies such as SEGA.
@DarthNocturnal @J-Manix98 @HeCaster101 Sure in the actual game, TP being so moody/dark looking, he's hair sort of appears brownish I guess, but it's clearly dirty blood (maybe even ash blond). http://image-cdn.gamnesia.com/28813/link_and_minda-2__xlarge.jpg This is a pic from the HD version, you can definitely see the bright golden look in his hair. It's definitely a dark blond they chose for his look in TP. Light brown does not look golden in the least. Though they definitely lightened his hair a lot! It's definitely a simple change to quicken the paste of how fast they can produce the chapters. Dark brown/dirty blond hair would probably require the hair to be inked in way more than light blond hair.
@NF6429, they only ever say that they will talk about the NX in 2016. They never gave a time, date or place for when/where they will talk about it. I'm guessing they'll talk about it a bit at GDC (mostly behind doors for developpers) and then have the big reveal at E3.
@TheLobster, they are only doing pre-registrations starting from Feb 17th, they are rolling out My Nintendo in March with no actual date confirmed yet.
@Hotfusion, well how do you go about buying any other share? Any tips for buying shares in Canada?
@XCWarrior Don't forget about all those erotic visual novels (as well as normal VN), this tech would do wonders for those as well, it may be a niche market but those games do sell.
I'm assuming that GDC is catered more to western developers (but I'm sure there are many Japanese developers as well), so it's not all that surprising, but I never understood the lack of interest for making games for the 3DS. Sure Nintendo games for the most part always outshine 3rd party games, but c'mon, 3DS development must be super cheap in comparison to all other systems, it requires less resources and smaller teams to build 3DS games, and the 3DS install base is over 54 million sold. So why don't they make games for it? Even last years 3% interest is crazy low. Personally, I prefer Japanese games, so I'm happy with the 3DS (as there are a ton of them) but western 3rd parties have always seems to have a disinterest in making games for the 3DS, and I don't understand why...
@Captain_Toad I'm not sad, because I finally found someone as great as me, it's like I always say, make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other's gold. T_T wahhhh wahhh T_T
@Kimite This is a direct quote from Shigeru Miyamoto. "When you think about what virtual reality is, which is one person putting on some goggles and playing by themselves kind of over in a corner, or maybe they go into a separate room and they spend all their time alone playing in that virtual reality, that’s in direct contrast with what it is we’re trying to achieve with Wii U. And so I have a little bit of uneasiness with whether or not that’s the best way for people to play.
So from Nintendo’s perspective, there’s interest in the technology, but we think it might be better suited to some sort of attraction style of entertainment, say something at a video game arcade or things like that, rather than something that one person plays alone."
Granted, he's talking in comparison to Wii U, but I'm sure it's he's overall thoughts about VR and gaming. Nintendo has always been more of a family games company rather than make solo games designed to isolate people, which VR truly does. Honestly I don't think VR is going to make a big splash in the gaming industry, due to the price and how isolating it is. Outside of gaming mind you, I think VR is going to do wonders for stuff like training simulators, etc.
@ShanaUnite Well if Hero mode in Skyward Sword is any indication to what this Hero will be, you'll probably only have 6 hearts for the entirety of the game, with no hearts on the ground to pick up. Sounds like to me that the Ganondorf amiibo with just make the super easy normal mode a tiny bit more difficult. Instead of knocking off a quarter of a heart for landing in lava you'l lose half a heart! wow! haha I'd also assuming that the amiibo functionality won't work with Hero mode as it's designed to be a challenge for veteran players but who knows. Good thing Hero mode will be available from the start, as TP is basically the EASIEST Zelda game ever.... Seriously who ever thought losing a quarter of a heart from a giant badass boss was a good idea?
@MitchVogel They haven't mentioned a single word about it (at least in NA). But even if they decided to make it a bundle only at launch, sooner or later the amiibo and game will be sold separately. Nintendo knows there are a ton of people out there that simply want that beautiful amiibo only (like myself). Sure I may get the game eventually when I see it on sale for 20$ or something (which won't happen for a long time, but I'm okay with that, I have both the Wii and GCN versions, so I'm good).
Zelda, Sonic, TMNT and Mario were instantly recognizable for me. Once the DK song hit that jumple vibe I instantly knew it. MK and NBA JAM couldn't recognize them. But seriously NBA JAM? Really? How can you expect people to remember music from a Generic basketball game, there has been multiple newly basketball games on a yearly basis since 1986.... Most people would not know that song, especially kids born in the PS/N64 era....
There really should have been two more options for that final poll. One being "I'm VERY optimistic about Nintendo in 2016 IF the NX LAUNCHES in 2016" and "I'm not so optimistic about Nintendo in 2016 IF the NX DOESN'T LAUNCH in 2016". That's really the big question. There is no way Nintendo has many unannounced Wii U games (and certainly ZERO BIG unannounced Wii U games), most unannounced games (specially the BIG games) have been moved to the NX or are simply being developed for the NX. Nintendo is not going to spend huge amounts of money and resources on games that have a very small potential for sales on the Wii U, when they can put those same games on NX to help drive sales of their new potentially booming console. The 3DS is an other story, as making games for the 3DS cost less and require less resources, so I can see them having a couple unannouced 3DS games, BUT if the NX is indeed a Hybrid system, we may not get much new out of the 3DS either.
I still believe that Zelda Wii U will be a duel release for Wii U and NX (most likely a launch title) and effectively killing Wii U's chance of going out with a bang. It makes no business sense for Nintendo to launch this high cost and high resource game solely on the Wii U. Making it a dual release will give the NX a killer launch title and will help sale more units. I'm positive that a dual release of Zelda on Wii U and NX would see more sales on the NX in the long run. The Wii U potential is probably sitting at 2-3 million copies sold, where as the NX could be huge if the system takes off at launch.
If I get the New Zelda and manage to find myself a copy of FE: Fates SE, I'll be super happy with 2016. I'm not hard to please, just give me my D#$N special edition! haha
I've got nothing against the tech itself, as I think it will do wonders for pilot and surgery simulator training for the real thing. I'm sure it would be good for other things too. But it's not going to become anything big in the gaming industry. Plus I think VR could actually make the gaming industry look worse to the mainstream audience. I remember when the media used to say that gaming was the hobby of basement dwellers who lived with their parents, it's obviously gotten a better image since then, but I think VR could put it right back there. A person playing with OR or PSVR look like they are isolated themselves from the outside world (without actually being in an awesome VR tube/arcade set). Plus everyone knows that the visual novel genre (more so the p0rn equivalent) is going to use this to full effect, making it look more like an otaku peripheral....
Again nothing against the tech, OR is probably going to be a beast, but how many people are going to want to put on that headset to play games all the time. I wonder if VR does become the next big thing (and therefore becomes much cheaper to buy), would it kill off couch co-op/multiplayer? That's my favorite thing about gaming, nothing beats sitting next to your friends and/or girlfriend/wife and playing games together.
@MitchVogel @Mogster @MarvinTheMartian I do believe Nintendo should advertise it, but I know why they won't. CoD and Fallout are popular brands, yes, but are on much healthier consoles, with constant growth. XCX is a niche game on a console with a very tiny install base with very little growth now and in the future. It makes perfect business sense. Why waste effort on a sinking ship, when the newer and improved ship is on the horizon. I know there would be and are more people out there that would love this game, but they can't be convinced to buy a Wii U. Most eyes are on the NX. Don't get me wrong, Nintendo's logic at times is indeed baffling, but in this case, I think it's logic is fairly solid. Honestly, I don't like it, as I want the XC series to succeed. It's a solid and downright awesome franchise. Business wise though, it makes sense. I won't even be surprised if Starfox Zero only gets a little bit of advertising. I'm sure Nintendo isn't going to push it hard. It doesn't matter how good your advertising is, because it's a hard sell to convince someone to pay 350$ for a system and a when the console has an "expiration date" of about a year (IF the NX does indeed release next year). Nintendo may say otherwise, but the moment the NX is out, the Wii U will most likely be completely dropped.
What about a future Zelda title a-la Resident Evil 2? One large story that's fragmented into two paths that meet up and separate again? I've always loved that RE2 idea, yet very few games do it.
@C-Olimar I just looked it up, it's the same price as the Xbox One Edition Holiday Pack, 30$ with all the same DLC included. Maybe after the holidays, it will be priced at 20$ with no DLC included.
@Artwark Why are you constantly surprised that fire emblem fates isn't in the weekly top 20 sales charts. #20 sold nearly 6,000 copies. Fire Emblem fates sales are probably very low now (maybe 500-2000 a week?) as it's not really an "evergreen" title, it doesn't have massmarket appeal. It's the same with Fire Emblem Awakening, Nintendo revealed initial milestones (the same it did with fates) and then stopped. There is no point in revealing tiny sales to the world every week. Nintendo will reveal sales number once it hits the next milestone or after initial sales of the western release. Nintendo RARELY gives us sales updates of their big hitters, so don't worry over FEF sales. You'll get your update in March 2016 I'm sure, as the game will have been out in NA for a full month and Nintendo will be more than happy to announcement total global sales at that point. Although in Japan, the game should get a nice little boost in sales at the end of december due to the new years holiday period, but it probably WON't make the top 20 ever again IN Japan.
@faint Japan biggest shopping season is Hatsuri (basically New Years sales) which usually range from the last week of december to 2 weeks after new years. It's basically like a Black friday on everything for the whole period. Items going on sale and mystery bags. The mystery bags are FANTASTIC, sure they are just trying to get rid of old stock, but the price is so good, it's hard not to buy a tons of them. For example, you could buy a 10,000 yen (100$ish) bag and the items inside would originally be worth anywhere from 30,000 yen (300$ish) to 50,000 yen (500$ish). How can one go wrong with that?!?! haha I look forward to buying a bunch of them this year.
There isn't any real big sales push for this month. If anything, I'm sure people are not spending their money and are waiting for New years to splurge!
Sorry I originally thought you comment meant Japan. Oh well, food for thought.
@RupeeClock @sillygostly Don't get your hopes up. The next installment of Animal Crossing game will certainly use the figures and cards, Nintendo will want even more AC fans to buy the cards and figures. I hope the cards will allow us to bring in said character to live in our village (like in HHD) instead of cycling through villagers to find one we like. That would be wonderful. But the next installment will be on the NX, just like the next Metroid, the next Mainline Mario and the next Retro Studios game. Zelda being the only exception (most certainly launching on both). Putting a AC game on Wii U just wouldn't make any business sense, when they can use that game to help sell the NX. Would I like it on Wii U, sure, would I like it on NX, sure both are fine for me. What's the better situation for Nintendo, putting it on the NX. It's still a possibility but just don't get your hopes up.
@3dsgeek333 @arojilla You can also use the amiibo cards to store any furniture (including wallpaper, carpet, rug, wall items and ceiling items (like the 7 eleven light)) that is in the main room of a house onto the card itself. Then you can lend the card to a friend and they will have early access to all those items (they won't have to wait to unlock it themselves).
@Sforzando There's clearly "plenty wrong" with this, because it offends SJW and feminists..... I say screw 'em! If one is too sensitive to something, that said person shouldn't play it. It's as easy as that.
@AVahne you forgot to mention for the US (mainly for the US market as Canada and Europe are generally less sensitive to these matters), because clearly they don't think this way in their home country. It's a shame really. I want all games to played the way the developers intended them to be played. People need to learn to not be offended by everything... AND Nintendo needs to grow some balls when it comes to these matters.
After watching this video, it's blatantly clear that all resources have been moved to the NX. I'm happy to get some release dates (especially for FEF, so excited for that game), but I feel that any real hype for Nintendo won't happen until the NX system and NX game announcements.
I'm super excited for that Wolf Link amiibo, but TP HD looks like a very lackluster port. If I can ever find it for 20$, maybe I'll pick it up. Also putting the 13 second clip of the new Zelda game right after TP HD really made TP HD look very ugly.... haha That was pretty hilarious.
@russellohh How does one go about purchasing Nintendo shares? I've been interested in getting some for quite some time now. I'm not much of an investor, but I've been a big fan since NES days and so I'd like to own a piece of my favorite company.

Re: SurveyMonkey Intelligence Breaks Down the Declining Usage of Miitomo

Re: Retail Executives and Analysts Voice Support For Nintendo's NX Release Window and Lack of E3 Showing
Re: There's a New Miitomo Update Coming Soon
@Spoony_Tech Don't forget to change you clothes everyday for an easy 5 platinum coins!
Re: Feature: The Biggest Wii U Games of 2016 - Spring Edition
I voted for Zelda Wii U, but I'll be getting the NX version, so does my vote still count? haha
SF Guard and TMS are my following votes.
Re: Review: My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (3DS eShop)
Re: Feature: How One Man Saved Kyoto - And Video Games - From The Atomic Bomb
Re: Reminder: All of the Expiry Dates to Help You Plan Your My Nintendo Rewards
According to these two lists, the US and Canada (as the Canadian stuff is identical to the US ones) don't get equal treatment.
Ex. 1) Yoshi's Wooly World - US 15% off 750 PC/UK 20% off 600 PC
Ex. 2) LoZ: ALBW - US 15% off 600 PC/UK 20% off 300 PC
Ex. 3) Splatoon - US 30%(not 15%) off 140 GC/UK 40% off 100 GC
PR = Platinum Coins, GC = Gold Coins (in case your wondering).
Like c'mon those are terrible deals on the US and Canada side...
Does the UK get more generous deals because it's one of Nintendo's weaker countries? I'd love to see a comparison between the UK and FR/GR.
Re: Review: My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (3DS eShop)
Re: Review: My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (3DS eShop)
Re: Review: My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (3DS eShop)
Re: Random: We Show You How to Make a "Fake NX Leak", For No Real Reason
That's a really nice kitchen.
Re: Review: My Nintendo Picross: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess (3DS eShop)

I very glad that Link's Awakening is finally getting some love, it's long overdue! So excited to see Marin!
Re: Feature: Getting Friendly in Surprising Ways With Miitomo
One question, is it region locked? I'd love to use this app with my Japanese friends too.
Re: Satoru Iwata Honoured At GDC 2016 With A Touching Animated Short
That was absolutely wonderful, and quite the touching video. Props to the creators.
Re: Mini Mario and Friends amiibo Challenge Launching April 28th in North America
Re: Mini Mario and Friends amiibo Challenge Launching April 28th in North America
Here's a link to the japanese character page:

Re: Guide: Setup and Key Facts for Nintendo Account and Miitomo Preregistration
@Nintendude789 @Miles_Edgeworth
That's a little misleading there Miles...
Scroll down to the Points-Based Reward Program on this link:

Re: Nintendo Gives Us A Friendly Recap On Why We Should Be Excited About Hyrule Warriors Legends

Re: Nintendo's Share Value is Hit Hard by Stock Market Panic
@Socar SEGA and other Japanese publishers are definitely affected, but in SEGA's case, I'm sure they were not hit as hard as Nintendo, Nintendo is reliant on selling products outside of Japan. Sure SEGA does sells games overseas, but they are also reliant on many products that are exclusive to Japan, such as arcades, and pachinko (that's a big money maker). Nintendo has very few arcade machines and zero pachiko (to my knowledge), therefore Nintendo is affect more than companies such as SEGA.
Re: The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess Will Have Its Own Manga
@DarthNocturnal @J-Manix98 @HeCaster101 Sure in the actual game, TP being so moody/dark looking, he's hair sort of appears brownish I guess, but it's clearly dirty blood (maybe even ash blond).
http://image-cdn.gamnesia.com/28813/link_and_minda-2__xlarge.jpg
This is a pic from the HD version, you can definitely see the bright golden look in his hair.
Re: Share Value Holds Relatively Firm Following Nintendo's Financial Results and Briefing
Re: Editorial: Nintendo and Virtual Reality Aren't a Good Fit in 2016
@XCWarrior Don't forget about all those erotic visual novels (as well as normal VN), this tech would do wonders for those as well, it may be a niche market but those games do sell.
Re: GDC Survey Shows Declining Interest From Developers in Wii U and 3DS
Re: GDC Survey Shows Declining Interest From Developers in Wii U and 3DS
@Captain_Toad I'm not sad, because I finally found someone as great as me, it's like I always say, make new friends but keep the old, one is silver and the other's gold. T_T wahhhh wahhh T_T
Re: Tatsumi Kimishima Is Aiming To Quadruple Nintendo's Operating Profits
Outside of gaming mind you, I think VR is going to do wonders for stuff like training simulators, etc.
but who knows what it will be, it could very well be VR, could be a hybrid system, could be a digital-only system, who knows, we literally know nothing about the NX. haha

Re: Rumour: Details of amiibo Features in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Emerge
Re: A Digital Code for The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD Will Be $50 in North America
Re: Video: These Teenagers Show Good Taste and Enjoy Classic Retro Game Music
Zelda, Sonic, TMNT and Mario were instantly recognizable for me. Once the DK song hit that jumple vibe I instantly knew it. MK and NBA JAM couldn't recognize them.
But seriously NBA JAM? Really? How can you expect people to remember music from a Generic basketball game, there has been multiple newly basketball games on a yearly basis since 1986.... Most people would not know that song, especially kids born in the PS/N64 era....
Re: Poll: Are You Optimistic About Nintendo's 2016?
I'm not hard to please, just give me my D#$N special edition! haha
Re: Oculus Founder Palmer Luckey Believes Virtual Boy "Hurt" the VR Industry, But It's Not All Bad
Re: The November NPD Results are in, Nintendo Exclusives Fail to Crack the Top Ten
Re: Linkle to be Considered for Future Legend of Zelda Titles
What about a future Zelda title a-la Resident Evil 2? One large story that's fragmented into two paths that meet up and separate again? I've always loved that RE2 idea, yet very few games do it.
Re: Minecraft Finally Digs Its Way Onto the Wii U eShop on 17th December
@C-Olimar I just looked it up, it's the same price as the Xbox One Edition Holiday Pack, 30$ with all the same DLC included. Maybe after the holidays, it will be priced at 20$ with no DLC included.
Re: Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival Has Modest Impact in Japan as 3DS Sales Improve
Re: Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival Has Modest Impact in Japan as 3DS Sales Improve
Re: Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival and Mario Tennis: Ultra Smash Fail to Chart in the UK
Re: Parent Trap: Animal Crossing: amiibo Festival Goes Where Other Wii U Games Don't
Re: You Can't Alter The Chest Size Of Female Characters In The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X
@Sforzando There's clearly "plenty wrong" with this, because it offends SJW and feminists..... I say screw 'em! If one is too sensitive to something, that said person shouldn't play it. It's as easy as that.
Re: You Can't Alter The Chest Size Of Female Characters In The Western Version Of Xenoblade Chronicles X
Re: Poll: Did The Nintendo Direct Comeback Fire on All Cylinders?
After watching this video, it's blatantly clear that all resources have been moved to the NX. I'm happy to get some release dates (especially for FEF, so excited for that game), but I feel that any real hype for Nintendo won't happen until the NX system and NX game announcements.
I'm super excited for that Wolf Link amiibo, but TP HD looks like a very lackluster port. If I can ever find it for 20$, maybe I'll pick it up.
Also putting the 13 second clip of the new Zelda game right after TP HD really made TP HD look very ugly.... haha That was pretty hilarious.
Re: Nintendo Shares Level Out After $4 Billion Drop in Company Value
@russellohh Hey thanks! sharebuilder.com redirects me to Capital One Investing, I'd assume it's the same place?
Re: Nintendo Shares Level Out After $4 Billion Drop in Company Value
@russellohh How does one go about purchasing Nintendo shares? I've been interested in getting some for quite some time now. I'm not much of an investor, but I've been a big fan since NES days and so I'd like to own a piece of my favorite company.
