Re: Video: 13 Great Wii U Games Still Not on Switch

TsukiDeity

I'd just like for Nintendo to port the Fatal Frame (Project Zero) series over. That series deserves a second shot, I'd hate to see the abysmal sales of FF5 on the abysmally sold Wii U, to kill off this franchise.

I'm guess Zelda TWW and TP will be ported over, hopefully has a combo pack and not individually at full price.

Re: Poll: What Was Your Favourite Animal Crossing: New Horizons Event Of 2020?

TsukiDeity

Halloween was great, gave me plenty of time to start decorating my island for the season. Toy Day was my number too, but with only 10 days to try and get those, hard to acquire through balloons, festive DIYs and decorate my island before Xmas was NOT enough time.... Why not start to season on Dec 1st?

May Day maze was great, but it was only a 1 short time thing, same with Museum day. Both great, but more would be great. Maybe a new maze everyday for a week? Anything Cherry Blossom is ALWAYS great! ^__^

Re: Atelier Ryza 2 Won't Be Censored In The West, Says Koei Tecmo

TsukiDeity

@Rayquaza2510 @-Green-
This article I've added is an interesting read. Makes a lot of sense as well. It's clearly a Sony of America policy and the same games come out in Japan uncensored. Nintendo used to be the company that censored everything for the west, but now as long as it doesn't reach an AO rating, Nintendo leave's the developers alone.
And yes, it's only Japanese developed games that are affected. Anime is also an interesting beast in and of itself. Young characters can look like adults, adults can look like youths. So this may play a key part of it for Sony of America as US customs and ideals differ from Japanese ones.
But it certainly is baffling that Sony of Japan would allow Sony of America to censor a niche market that they dominated back on PS3 and Vita, especially as Nintendo, "the kids console" isn't doing anything about these games.

Check out the article, it's a good read, not too long either.

Re: Pokémon Rumble Rush Shuts Down, Just One Year Since Launch

TsukiDeity

@RPGamer Game Freak didn't make this game. A developer named Ambrella made it and it's published by The Pokemon Company. The only mobile game Game Freak has made is Pokemon Quest. Besides that one game, Game Freak only makes mainline Pokemon games (which includes remakes).

The issue isn't Game Freak, it's The Pokemon Company.

Re: The Next Update For Kingdom Two Crowns Is A Bloodstained Crossover Event

TsukiDeity

@TsukiDeity Unless it recieved an update since I last played. The small portals could be permanently destroyed however, the large portals don't stay broken they repair themselves (in what 2 or 3 years?) eventually you won't be able to stop the incoming hoard. If you can get to the point of destroying both portals before one repairs itself, I'd say your good to go and play New Lands. The first one is more like an old arcade game. You play to rack up a score in this case years.

Re: Video: Animal Crossing amiibo Are Selling For More Than The Game Itself

TsukiDeity

Why does Nintendo always do this?... Animal Crossing is huge right now, most talked about game on Twitch, yet they are barely reprinting any cards... It really seems like Nintendo sometimes hates easy money. Demands is there, yet they don't bother with it. Wouldn't it make more sense for Nintendo to try to meet demand so that their fan base don't pay ridiculous scalper prices and buy more Nintendo products instead. You could buy a ton of the amiibo cards blind packs for 75$ (which goes straight to Nintendo) instead of paying 75$ for one card from a scalper. I was the same thing with Smash Amiibo....

Re: Sorry North America, You’ll Also Have To Download Final Fantasy X-2 HD Remaster

TsukiDeity

@SmaMan FFX on cartridge is included in the physical retail box. It will also come with a piece of paper with a download code for FFX-2. It's the same thing that happened with Resident Evil Revelations Collection. RER1 on cartridge, RER2 digital only (code on paper provided in physical retail box).

Edit: Took too long to reply. haha
Really wish the versions here could just be the same as the Japanese and SEA versions.

Re: Team17 Teases 'Free-zing' New Content For Overcooked 2

TsukiDeity

@Matthew010 I just bought this and I'm waiting to play it over the holiday break. I thought they addressed the easy problem by introducing the 4th star or is that easy as well? I prefer a challenge but regardless, my wife and I loved the first one, so I'm sure we'll have a blast playing this one. The fun might just be short lived if the 4th star is still easy...

Re: Nintendo Has Sold Over 700 Million Video Game Consoles To Date

TsukiDeity

For how poorly the Gamecube sold, it's audience was definitely buying games. The Gamecube has the highest games to console ratio of any Nintendo console or handheld, sitting as a whopping 9.59 games. Followed by the Wii at 9.05 games. Not surprisingly, the Wii U is both the worst selling console and has the smaller games to Home console ratio sitting at 7.54 games.

The handheld game ratio is always a little iffy in my opinion, if you don't count all the second, third or fourth 3DSs (DS, GBA or GB/GBC) people have due to special additions XL, Lites, SPs, etc, I'm positive the games to console ratio is much higher.

If anyone is interested here's the full list.

NES 8.08 GB/GBC 4.22
SNES 7.72 GBA 4.63
N64 6.83 DS 6.28
GCN 9.59 3DS 5.05
Wii 9.05
Wii U 7.54
Switch 4.42 (so far)

Re: Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze Will Get A Retail Release (But It'll Cost You $60)

TsukiDeity

@Sharks Yes, the platforming in this game is absolutely great, the art style rocks and the music by David Wise is simply amazing! If you're looking to collect all the puzzle pieces than this game is very challenging, otherwise i's a good level of challenge. Highly recommend it. I myself will double dip on this game, but not right now, I'm in no rush to 100% the game again. haha

Re: Saucy Visual Novel Nekopara Is Coming To Switch With Extra Content

TsukiDeity

@MetalKingShield You'd actually be guessing quite wrong. The nudity in this game is not mild in the slightest, it's fully fledge hardcore pron. The uncensored version would get a AO (Adult Only) rating here in North America, and both Sony and Nintendo do not allow AO games on their systems (I'm not sure about M$ and their xbox and they clearly allow it for windows).
If the game is indeed PEGI 18, my guess is that it's sexual content will be mild enough to reach M for Mature here but enough to make it PEGI 18 rather than 16.

Re: Nintendo Switch Hardware Sales Reach Another Level in Japan

TsukiDeity

@ieatdragonz regardless that they for some reason had a black friday this year.. Japan does the whole santa thing if they have young kids AND they often buy gifts for new years. Tail end of November and December tends to be a huge shopping season in Japan. But people could simply be snapping them up a head of time so they don't have to line up during the busier season.

Re: Chess Ultra Arrives on the Switch eShop, With Cross-Platform Play, This Week

TsukiDeity

Games like Rocket League and Minecraft I can understand Sony not doing cross-play, they have enough players in their install base to warrant that. But I feel like chess on consoles is a bit more of a niche market, by making it cross-play it just gives you a better chance to play with someone at anytime. I wouldn't be surprised if the Switch, Xbox and PC crowd is WAY larger then the PS4 only crowd. If the PS4 crowd doesn't grow fast enough, PS4 owners may have to wait to play with someone... I guess it can't be helped. I won't be waiting long on my Switch.
