It was good, but it wasn't something that I will miss in the Switch version.
It was a fun diversion and I did play it through once but for me personally it has always been about a good career mode. I don't even play Ultimate Team which is by far the most popular mode nowadays.
Story mode was fun, but not essential.
On Madden on the other hand... I need that LongShot
I just realized it would be awesome if Olimar could build a fortress with the stuff he collects via Pikmin. Then you could upgrade that fortress / base with defensive, luxury etc. items.
Come on Miyamoto, I know you read NintendoLife comments. Take this.
I accidentally walked into the sanctum as I was looting the Hyrule Castle and had to load before I watched the cutscene. I don't want to kill Ganon just yet. I still have mazes to solve and dragonflys to collect.
As a sidenote, I love how there are few NPC's that tell you that maybe you should actually be doing your job of saving the world instead of talking and helping strangers.
After playing numerous matches against disappear spawning wannabe-pros that you just punched in the face with your other arm as they appeared I played amazing matches against some truly crafty peeps.
Mixing the "Look I disappeared" with dashes and decoys made those games REALLY difficult to me and I did lose most of them.
But they were some of the best matches and most fun fighting game moments that I've had in my memory. Kudos to you Ninja-pros.
And good luck to you Ninja-Noobs that are going to get blasted by anyone with two cents worth of common sense and strategy
I would love for them to incorporate Amiibo on the game so that you could get different costumes for the rabbids you have. I would love to put my Diddy Kong amiibo there and get m'self a dual wielding commando rabbid.
As for these, Laura K said in a quick discussion "Fake as s**t".
And she's nailed it thus far so I am going with her here
Im still wishing for them to install a tournament and playoff modes for this service so that you could set up your own Nintendo world championship tournaments online.
A gaming magazine published an article about a teletext based multiplayer rpg that would be published in our national broadcasting channels teletext pages.
It would be published at 4am and would be up for four hours at the first go, you could participate via phone.
So I woke up at 4AM with our telephone in hand, trying to find it.
For three hours I sat there waiting and trying to figure out what I was doing wrong. Until I realized that it was the dawn of April that day.
I just realized why I like the theme music so much.
It is a perfect rendition of a massive sporting event theme music. It is something that could be heard at the FIFA World cup or World Games or something like that.
The 8-bit version just takes me back to my childhood and reminds me why I love video games altogether.
I do understand that, but for me the personal preference for the traditional controls is so great that I can't fathom how they didn't apply even basic twist with shoulder buttons or something.
I still do like most of the game and I hope it'll be a great success, but just for me this is now only a demo that I'll try and then I'll start waiting for Spla2oon. (which it really should be called)
Yes I know about cancellations. Did you know that cancellations actually cause quite little in the way of internet rage as long as they are handled well.
Most things in life can be solved with good communication.
But if they do have something coming up in six years, Yes I would love for them to announce it. I think Zelda was announced something like that and came up pretty good.
And no, I don't have any idea on how game development goes. I have not learned anything as a stockholder, game developer, gamer and enthusiast.
No. Marshi said:
"Nintendo should just concentrate on making this first year for switch a truky stellar one. Then worry about next year after that."
That doesn't imply in any way that he spoke about what to show etc. If that was the intention then I simply misunderstood it.
You are absolutely right that focus isn't a synonyme for exclusively. And I absolutely do hope that you are right about this and they do show something. We do know already that there is a FE-game coming up in 2018 (unless delayed) and I am willing to bet an eshop title with anyone that Xeno is going to be 2018 release at earliest in the West.
Focusing on immediate releases is good when you have base of customers. What they should now do is go full fledge "This is going to give you all this Nintendo Super S**t in the future, BUY IT" as a console marketing. They need to sell the Switch, constantly and they need to make everyone understand that this isn't another WiiU when it comes to sales (which I don't believe it will be, but still)
This phrasing just takes me out of the hype train and gives me the idea that there is zero reason to even list games I would like to see, since we know most of the 2017 titles anyway.
edit: Im speaking as 95% Nintendo fanboy and 5% as a stockholder so I really don't want them to mess this up. It's been good for the last few years and I would like to keep it that way
On a business that takes you several years to produce games, taking a mental attitude of making one year great and being concerned about the next ones later is probably the stupidest idea that I can think of as a stockholder.
They need to have games outlined all the way up to 2020 at this point concerning their major franchises. Anything else is sheer lack of good management.
I will be very worried if they don't give us any glimpse on 2018 or even beyond that.
Nintendo is known for their absolute secrecy concerning game development. In fact it is astonishing how little leaks out from them compared to many others.
However this also means that we live in constant uncertainty regarding what and when or if anything comes up.
WiiU showed us that Ninty isn't capable of churning enough titles out to satisfy the customer base. They did produce absolute fantastic games, but they were few.
Having an E3 That is focused on games coming up this year means that we will not see what OR if they have stuff in store for the coming years.
WiiU had a decent first year, followed by horrible years afterwards. I don't want that to happen again.
They should have gone Super Marioyan and tell about EVERY game that is in the development cycle right now. EVERY single game no matter if it's coming 2018, 2019 or even 2020.
That would have convinced people that they can pump games out. Right now I ain't convinced about next year.
Or for third party that matter.
Although if I get that Rabbids + Mario Tactical RPG I will be happy.
@MarioFanatic64 Where do you live and how much you are willing to pay? I've been doing small woodcraft for my pals for years. Easy enough to make this.

I love this video.
Re: Video: Samus Fans Lose Their Minds at Metroid Prime 4 Reveal in Nintendo NY Store
The employee in Switch t-shirt is trying to play it cool
Re: Gallery: Feast Your Eyes on this Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle Artwork
I said all along that this sounds great.
The reveal sold it to me. Pre-ordered yesterday.
Looks like the battles have great depth with the skill tree system and those combos, damn.
All I need is that it has a mode that is hard enough. I wan't Xcom 2 hard, not Xcom for the wossies in the 2010's hard
Re: Ubisoft Confirms New IP, Starlink: Battle for Atlas, on Nintendo Switch
I liked that they said you can also get stuff digital. I have already WAY too many amiibos.
Although you can bet that there will be some Foxy Arwing type toys there. Mark my words.
Ubi really rocked it.
Re: Austrian Retail Listing Builds Hopes For WWE 2K18 On Switch
Instabuy.
Wrestling is horrible way of entertainment.
But wrestling games are just awesome fun.

Career mode for the win.
I would have liked your reply twice, but it wasn't possible so I just say that you said it best.
Re: Video: This Project Rap Rabbit Concept Trailer Sets The Scene
I backed the game but unfortunately it looks like it won't happen :/
Re: Poll: Are You Excited About Nintendo at E3 2017?
E3 is always a competition as well as a showcase.
This year Nintendo will finish dead last. Unfortunately.
Re: Super Nintendo World Theme Park Could Interact With Switch Systems
There better be one up in Florida when we go there 2022 for a month of amusement park folly with our entire family.
(That family consists of parents, eight siblings and at the moment 18 cousins spawned from those siblings and their respective companions).
Although Disney World is still the number one place, but hey... Get that Nintendo World there!

Re: Nintendo Download: 8th June (Europe)
@Kiz3000
Seems good to me. Shovel Knight took even less than that.
I didn't know what HLTB was, because in finnish that's almost the same acronym as LGTB
But that site looks really good for me. Good to learn new things.
Re: Nintendo Download: 8th June (Europe)
How long is Shantae?
It looks absolutely gorgeous and seems to have good reviews. Is there enough to play?
Re: The Witcher 3 And Assassin's Creed Devs Heap Praise On Zelda: Breath Of The Wild

Nearing that 200 hour mark now

Re: Pokkén Tournament DX Confirmed For Nintendo Switch
That was plain bad.
Wii U port.
Hashed out sequels.
VC games ONLY for 3DS.
Yay??

Thanks EA.
You made it easy for me.
Still not getting your games.
AND I REALLY WANTED FIFA AND MADDEN YOU A**H**ES
Re: Get Ready for a Pokémon Direct on 6th June
Sigh
So this is a bad thing like the online thing. It's not for switch and they want to get rid of the bad press before E3
Damn ;_;
Re: The Order: 1886 Studio Ready At Dawn "Interested" In Working On Nintendo Switch

I sure hope it would. It looks really good and zany fun game.

Re: Talking Point: The Nintendo Switch Online Service Promises a New Approach to Retro Gaming

I would go full retro then.
Re: Gallery: Revel In This Ridiculously Retro 3-Bit ARMS Artwork
I was eleven years old brat.

Arceus damnit.
edit: I wasn't eleven, it was 1989 so I was nine.
Re: Video: Ubisoft Unleashes Its E3 Teaser Trailer
Oh the Ubi haters are already strong on this thread.
Ubi makes bad, good and great games. It was one of the heavy hitters that stood with Wii U even when others bailed out at a moments notice.
I like good games no matter who they are from and if big players like Ubi do games for Ninty all the merrier.
Gonna get Steep, Mario + Rabbids and possibly Rayman as well this year. Depending if they give some other stuff too might get that as well.
Re: PlatinumGames Has An "Interesting" Switch Title In Development
I just came to this thread to like any comment wanting to have Wonderful 101 sequel.
Seriously that game needs a sequel.
Although others mentioned here like new Okami or completely new IP or working for some forlorn Nintendo IP would be good too.
Platinum is win-win situation whatever they do.
Re: Music: This 8-Bit Rendition Of The ARMS Theme Is Even Catchier Than The Original

Damn Nintendo and their quality
Re: Golf Story Combines RPG Goodness With The Classic Sport

Exactly my thoughts.
Trailer was great and the game and idea are nicely refreshing in their approach.
Absolutely worth a try, hopefully it won't be 39,99€

Re: Video: Revel in these 8 Reasons to Get Hyped for ARMS
No curve punching with non-motion controllers?
I don't like motion controls and you pull this on a mainly online multiplayer game?
What the heck?
I was hyped for this. Now I ain't gonna get it. Damn

Damn, of course it is Torpedo Ted.
I was too excited about the whole shenanigans that I completely forgot about their existence
Thank you

Boohooo, someone knows stuff that you don't so you claim they are "debunked"
Other than that.

YES!
Re: Co-Operative Blast 'Em Up Nine Parchments Is Casting Its Spell On Switch

Frozenbyte is a damn good developer though, with the Has Been Heroes as their only real failure in my opinion.

This reminds me.
NINTENDO DO ROLLING DILLON AND S.T.E.A.M. FOR SWITCH!
CAN YOU HEAR ME?
Re: Talking Point: ARMS Has Plenty to Prove In Its Nintendo Direct
I wish for a lot of modes and something like a campaign for a single player mode.
If those are given to me today. I will preorder this.
Re: Sega Is Looking To Revive Some Of Its Past Classics

I didn't realise that this was a game that I am thoroughly missing.
I want a new version for the Switch immediately. Perfect fit.

BASS FISHING!
Re: Project Rap Rabbit Needs To Raise Almost $5 Million For Any Chance Of A Switch Port
Yeah... Would have been instabuy.
With Kickstarter like that, and with Project CARS and Yooka-Laylee...
Damn.
Re: Poll: Nintendo is Keen on 'Social Competitive Gaming' on Switch - Are You Game?
@Powerballad Im sure many more will point this out to you as well.
But you can play ARMS completely without motion controls. Which makes it a buy for me.

I refuse to do that, as a fan, as a gamer and as human being.
Re: Nintendo Confirms Its Plans for E3 2017, Including Playable 'Sandbox-Style' Super Mario Odyssey

@leo13 Exactly my thoughts.
They should also lure all the 3DS 3rd party developers into making "2nd tier" games for switch. Non-HD 3DS type games to be enjoyed in mobile.

Although I'll settle for good FIFA and MADDEN and NHL if I have to choose.
Re: Nintendo Reveals "The Master Trials", the First DLC Pack for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
Isn't this like part 1/2 for the entire DLC?
For that this seems ok to me.
