you can describe almost EVERY Japanese cover, and half the European ones, as a pile of characters doing nothing, essentially "posing for the camera" together, conveniently overlapping "Leifeld style" so the artist doesn't have to draw hardly any hands, feet, or scenery. these are no different.
PS - this was my first game on SNES after Mario World and Pilotwings, I freaking love this game. taught me how to spell "island," might be the first game I ever just "left on" to listen to the music in my bedroom. โค๏ธ

I already own Wave Race 64 for example, on N64, so simply accessing the game on switch is not the point for me. same deal with Fzero GX: they have offered nothing to me, as someone who already has access to that game on GameCube. what I want is to have i.e. "own a copy of" the game on a more modern console.

I can't tell if this is a good faith question or an odd gaslight, but yes it's a problem. it's been part of the conversation in games as far back as I can remember, which is a pretty long time these days.

I'm the second user to raise the question, and we've both been here years. I'd be careful dismissing legitimate concerns of bias and pay-for-play when we know full well that it's a problem in our industry.

I specifically play games on the TV because I struggle with focus, and half focusing on two different things at once can feel like a complete waste of time, for me, in addition to being not very relaxing at all (for me obv)
I also specifically love videogame sounds and music so I want them on the big speakers, but that's secondary to my main point ๐
caveat - I totally do play a game while watching TV from time to time, fwiw โ๏ธโค๏ธ
