Nintendo is in the process of showing off The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, and has also announced three new amiibo that will arrive with the game. In addition the current Wolf Link amiibo will be supported (as previously announced); scanning that one brings Wolf Link into the world with three hearts, and he'll automatically attack enemies until he runs out of health.
As for the new amiibo, their functionality hasn't been revealed but their figures have. There's Link (Archer), Link (Rider) and Guardian. The Guardian is the first amiibo with 'flexible parts'.
You can see some lovely promotional shots of them below - let us know what you think!

Holy moly
I want all of them. Amazing!
Will get that regular Link for sure. The quality of these has come such a long way from those first ones.
Will definitely be getting all of these amiibos
Man do I hope these come in a 3-pack! I'd preorder that thing in a heartbeat.
Not sure how the Guardian will fit in the box, lol.
Oh you can move the legs? Neat, maybe that's how it'll fit in the box.
The Guardian won't fit in a standard amiibo box.
They're not even trying to make them fit on the bases anymore are they.
I won't be getting them but they look cool.
These look awesome. I wonder what they do in the game, especially the guardian.
Nice hope all three come out in a 3-pack if not then i either get arrow link or the rider link amibo
I need all them!!!
Look great, but I doubt the "consumer version" will be as detailed as these models... Still getting Link Archer though (maybe Rider as well...)!
The Link Archer amiibo is damn sexy.
I like them! The Guardian one is okay. I'm not sure how they will fit on my amiibo stand though.
I'll just set up a direct debit Nintendo.....
@YouSeemFRAZZLED
Yes! Bayonetta is most important amiibo!
Wow, the detail on Amiibo gets better every time they release them. These are no exception. Fantastic quality!!
Also pretty cool that wolf link gets a cameo of sorts.
I have a feeling that this is going to be SUCH A DIFFERENT Zelda, but at the same time, pays homage to the previous games, and will make many subtle references.
I wouldn't be surprised if this celebrated every title in the series in some small fashion or another, just because of the scope of the world and the ability to subtly insert these references.
See, this is why I'm poor. How is the guardian going to fit on the gamepad or 3ds reader?
Wow that's a big amiibo there.
All of them look dope, but my poor poor wallet
Epona looks so good, that clear plastic stand is ruining it though.
@ThomasBW84 You guys working on a sale article? It's live.
http://e3.nintendo.com/sale/
I don't like them at all.
These are the best amiibo to date!

Best looking ones in the whole amibo history. Ever.
I missed some parts of the stream. Is there any truth to the male/female Link thing, or was nothing mentioned?
But of course...I still gotta get Wolf Link, was hoping it would be sold by it's self, and I guess a normal Link amiibo isn't gonna do anything special if they got new Link amiibos...
@antipop621
No female link.
I will be getting these on day 1 together with the game! Hopefully it will get a nice special edition with all the amiibo in it
@helbertpina Then you haven't seen Roy or Ryu's amiibo, because they are just as detailed as this.
@rjejr We are, it's a long list. I'm also working on other new amiibo.
With these and Daisy and WaLuigi coming FINALLY, I thought I was out the amiibo game
You'd think by now they'd have learnt how to design ones that don't need super obvious support stands like that. I mean little discreet ones like on Toon Link or Jigglypuff are fine but that horse is bordering on the ridiculousness of Captain Falcon's leg brace or Luigi's crotch support.
Oh well, they look neat. The Guardian one being possible is especially cool. I wonder why they didn't just ditch the base entirely for it? I doubt I'll be getting them though unless they do something amazing in game that my Toon Link won't.
I had stopped collecting but need these and the new Mario series amiibo
i want the robot
Am I the only one who thought that the 1st amiibo was Link standing on a blob of whipped cream?
First amiibo with flexible parts? Have you seen Marth's sword?
First with intentionally flexible parts i guess
Well there are three more amiibo that will be in my collection.
@NinjaAceTrainer Clouds maybe?..
@NinjaAceTrainer You mean the flying Nimbus?
I just hope that means Link gets a flying Nimbus in the game.
@TrueWiiMaster
My guess:
Link(Archer): Extra Arrows
Link(Rider): Extra horse power
Gaurdian: A dungeon?
The plastic on the horse is a real eye sore.
Sold.
The need oa REAL.
Hopefully the Epona Amiibo won't be the only way to unlock Epona...Nintendo surely wouldn't be that evil would they?! >_<
I want them all. Especially the Guardian. drools Seems like I'll actually be preordering some Amiibo!
They look good. I love my wolf-link amiibo but these look even better
These look amazing but I have a feeling that they may not look like this when shipped.
@NinjaAceTrainer
Ha, no I thought that as well!
@DBPirate
If Roy and Wolf Link are anythig to go by then yes they will.
Wolf Link is immaculate.
I will get the Archer Link when it comes out. You can't even compare the Smash Bros. line Link with the new one, this looks 1000x better.
Also dat giant guardian.
Just when I thought I had finished buying Amiibo hood link on horse looks bad ass
Haven't bought amiibos in months, but it looks like I'm back in.
Why is Link right handed? Boo!
@rjejr Haha, that would be great! Now I need that amiibo!
Whats that under links bottom a fart could ...
Those Amiibo are amazing. The bow Link is gorgeous!
God these just look amazing. Hopefully no issues with purchase...
@citizen_zane this does not mean he is right handed at all. If you ever shot a gun you'd know. It depends what your strong eye is.
@dumedum True, but from what I've seen verification elsewhere that he is indeed a righty in this new game. I just don't get it. It's not like we're waggling a Wii remote anymore. What gives?
