We've been closely watching Antipole DX, the rather promising dual release coming to the Wii U and 3DS eShop this year. It's an enhanced re-release of the rather good DSiWare title Antipole, with much-improved visuals, new levels, online leaderboards and Miiverse stamps.
Developer Saturnine Games has now confirmed that development is 'winding down', with the goal of wrapping the project up soon in order to release later this year. Its retro-styled visuals and gravity-flipping mechanic are certainly eye-catching, so hopefully the final stages of development and approval from Nintendo will go through smoothly.
In any case there's a new trailer to show it off - check it out and let us know what you think.

"Miiverse stamps"
2 words I thought I'd never see again. The dream lives.
The game is looking great!
Looking forward to it, thanks for the report.
@rjejr Yeah, after its heyday with those weird human-looking animal games, I figured stamps were dead!
Saturnine Games. I have both Wii U games they've made.
Turtle Tale is a simple platformer that reminded me of Adventure Island. It is just 2 bucks and solid enough for the price. I'd recommend it for beginners, however the second quest isn't that easy.
Paranautical Activity is Saturnine's port of a roguelike PC first person shooter. A good game still, with much replay value, although the Wii U port could have been a smoother experience in framerate, controls, and loading times.
Antipole DX's gameplay looks original and fun, with the best from VVVVVV and Mega Man. If this is priced right, I'm supporting.
Some pretty nice pixel art going on there.
Ready and hyped for lots of 60fps anti-gravity platforming action!! o//////
And what an original and climatic music that was.
Looks fairly good, if it's a few quid I'll pick it up.
I await its release!
I never played the original, but I love the look of this. Looks highly playable.
Looking forward to this one.
Very cool! Reminds of a game I loved as a kid.
Metal Storm!
