Give me EBA 3D, with popping strips, swanky covers, DLC packs, and for the love of Jumping Jack the skip-end-of-song-scenes function from Ouendan 2, I'll be happy and broke.
Oh, and anyone here played Demons' Score for smartphones? SQEX eventually pulled it, but once I got a modern phone (rather than my aging iPod), it was available through my Purchases on-device (sadly, not on PC), and I could even still buy the last character I was missing...SATAN!
@roy130390 It used to be thirty days after a bundle ended, but you can still add to your order amount a few days after. When you have the money, return to your order's page and see if it still lets you increase.
@c1pher_c0mplet I tend to be able to get multiple cards for my, my sister's, and her partner's sets of XY+ORAS (so, six total), but they're familiar with me. On one hand, you can redeem those cards at leisure. On the other, on-site wi-fi distribution is unlimited. In either case, it's easier to just do as with Zygarde, but then why go to a shoppe?
Seeing comments here, and I'm thinking, these figures are for fans of these particular characters. You get them in figurine form, which I take as an uncommon luxury outside the Land of the Super Jumping Sun, and their in-game content is centric to their stage presences. I, for one, and ecstatic to have this degree of fanservice, especially after watching those live concerts.
I mean, if these figurines unlocked significant game content (as the first Splatoon wave did), wouldn't that be WORSE, since those who have no interest in the figures themselves are effectively paywalled to get more game?
MUST get those Squid Sisters (at least the Splatfest aesthetic will live on, even after Nintendo drops 'em), but not sure where I am on the recolors. Definitely liking the green-ink Girl, and I know a fellow player is a fan of orange ink, but funds'll prolly be too tight for bought sets...
Haven't checked the announcement post, but deliberating over Citizens of Earth. Does the 3DS version still not have a 3-D effect? I have the game for Vita, IIRC, but it takes up so much memory card space, and I do have the EarthBounds on Wii U, but still...
Just, -w-h-y- bother doing this? Like, what purpose is there to covering up a game such as this? Why attach the stigma of "altered/censored version" when I'd doubt anyone would be swayed due to it.
I'm of @Souldin's mind on this. If you're going to bump up character ages (I was honestly excited, reading Bravely Default's manual to see the cast wasn't all teenagers like everything always, only to gain later this perceptual conflict), why then also change the content you'd need them to be "of age" for in the first place?
@retro_player_22 I'd be down for something like this, but it may need to be an eShop download that streams a local n3DS to the Wii U. But, as pointed out, that may muck with WiFi online play, but could the Wii U handle that side? And how would Miiverse be implemented?
I got a GameCube after they removed the Digital A/V Out port, but now the only thing I'd play on it rather than the Wii is the Game Boy Player, which would benefit from it the most, in my estimation, since these games were made for a system that had, in my estimation, progressive output, such that anything flickering would momentarily disappear under interlace (Samus taking damage, ghostly enemies in Castlevania). I really oughta look into the HDMI mod, and estimate that.
Had just early searched up if there was another delay, having seen a sentiment on Twitter to tge effect of these delays on such a prominent Kickstarter project losing confidence and subsequent pledges to other such projects. Amazon has it as May 31st, a placeholder, but hey, given Miitomo's release date...
It took some button-mashing, but you can sign in to a Crunchyroll account — premium or not — through the Menu option (X or Y on Wii U, Triangle or Square for PlayStation). Not inuitive, but it exists here in the U.S., so maybe it's likewise buried for your units.
Currently stuck on Mii creation. I've only played the Tomodachi Life demo, so no QR codes (does the Move-In version allow this?), and my Mii had been set to no-copying, so outta luck there. Shoulda just made a QR from said Mii, but too late, so unless its copy status updates before then, I've got some six hours before I'm back home at my systems. Le sigh.
If this means that, without Nintendo Points or whatever faff, we can see price adjustments and/or sales down the line, count my breath baited. Shantae: RR FOR $13 USD when I picked it up on mobile for a pittance (or free) is a shame. Part of why I've yet to nab the only DSiWare-exclusive Mighty game, Milky Way.
#StillSanders, no matter how many rematches we need! If Clinton intends to take the nomination, she'll not be shifting center so quick before the Sudden Death.
Couldn't they just, maybe, leave the BAD ENDs in, but make them exclusive to New Game Plus, if such a thing exists in Second? Hell, I'm playing through Drakengard 3 right now, and its DLC Prologue chapters can't be played until having seen Ending A.
@ryando That's pretty much inversed for my sister and me: I go with Yellow (my first Game Boy was the bundle), and her, Blue, though when it comes to X, her copy is lost...prolly by me.
But as for Japan's numbers, I'd almost expect J-Blue to beat out J-Red, seeing as it's their "third version", prior to the "Pocket Monsters Pikachu" DX version.
Having not bought a DS VC title to date, can the run button be mapped to ZL (or ZR)? Putting it on a shoulder button could really free up your thumb for some face-button action.
After trading a Club Nintendo slot for EarthBound Beginnings back when that closed, I immediately (as in, right when I checked the eShop that Wednesday) got the heavy hitter. Kinda tempted by Breath of Fire, but sooo muuuch backlog...
It's a shame, I got Wii Fit U a couple months back, and saw the Balance Board was compatible with this. Almost tempted to get in on it in its twilight weeks... <painful flashbacks of PlayStation Home's closure>
Got myself Game & Wario, so now all the WarioWare games are under this roof (some multiple times over). Shame there's not a 3DS one; will be rustled if we see the next on mobile than the gimmickiest of handhelds.
Prolly gonna nab Wario Lane 3, but torn on Donkey Kong Country. It has a great pedigree, but do I reeeaaally need it?
I want this for one sole reason: Game Boy Player. Anything else, I can pop it into our Wii for progressive scan. But then, perhaps there's something to be said for this...
I'm tempted toward Star Fox 3D because of the Download Play (which Ninty really needs to add to the store page's tags) and spiffier graphics, but when its sale price here is higher than what it really oughta be under a Nintendo Selects banner...
But, I see myself getting Sin & Punishment (have Star Successor on disc), Mega Man Xtreme, and Gunman Clive 2. Maybe also MMBN1, but that only due to Ghost_Wheel's races with those games.
Theatrhythm Kingdom Hearts, but I'd imagine it'd have to come out after KHIII (or, since that requires outlasting the heat death of the universe, maybe after 2.8, as further promotion for the un-evitable).
I mean, I'd jam "L'Oscurita d'ell Ignoto" or whatever from 3D all damn night. And from the same game, its remix of "Calling" is was got me to buy the (less pumpin') original for TFFCC.
Really, for this debut title, what more I would want is a last round of Octo Valley. Perhaps a rebound by the Octarians, where it sums up with a balance and acceptance of the two races. But then, that'd feel like a setup for a sequel, but maybe we can work in a setup for such a resolution? Might work to drum up anticipation of a sequel.
My pipe dream: EU release on NA eShop, For all three of the SNES-era-ers. Especially for FFIVA, the EU versions feature the most bug fixes (FFIVA EU being based on the second, cleaned up JP release), AND multiple languages, AND the English script is lifted from the NA versions (with a bit of fixin' to, say, FFIVA's "Gilgamesh", more properly "Gil Turtle"...yeah?).
But, pipe dreams. And my wish SQEX would cast off their past idiosyncrasies. But then "Aeris" in the cheevos on FFVII Steam/PS4...
Since I'm gettin' sleepy, I'll just put this scenario in here: When Humble Bundle allowed you to designate which charity you can default your purchases toward, I set Able Gamers. While I think that deals more with device inputs, this would definitely fall under usability for all persons.
@rjejr Really like the idea of AI Octolings for map practice. Heck, playing on the updated maps, compared to their existence in Octo Valley... And, hey, with all these new maps, I could see for some more OV and Battle Dojo content! C'mon, a last hurrah for the offline components!
(And, above all, a means to play the online content after servers go down, and transfer progress to an inevitable sequel.)
Unfortunately, caught the end of the stream after seeing the Twitch e-mail that Nintendo was live, so any theatrics were lost on me. Didn't recognize the not-Bayonetta character right off, but by the looks and knowing Fates is coming, I all but groaned. All the undoubtedly interesting pics from the poll, and we get a n o t h e r FE.
EDIT: But, haven't gone back to see their reveals, either, so cannot fairly judge Corrin, or fairly HYPE on Bayonetta.
Just bummed I waited so long to finally get around to screenshooting the last Splatfest's results. Not even an hour past the start time of last week (11pm CST), and no news, and no Shells. One hour! All my procrastination, and my perfect Miiverse record, tanked in less than an hour. Was Team Pizza, but I got to Defender rank... As of I wasn't already sick, then that.
This is probably the one gen I still don't have as much investment in, far as the mainline goes — of the "sets", this is the oldest I haven't beaten one of, and past it only Black 1 so far. This was also around when I stopped keeping pace with the animu. Compared to the sharped-edges impressions I have of the RSE designs, the DPPt feel bulbous, and so a bit more manufactured for me. I'unno, hard to put impressions into words, especially if as you look more into what you're describing, you pick up more nuance and potentially lose what gave you that impression in the first place.
