If one is to believe the rumors of a “Switch 2” upgraded model, and being that we are a couple of months from its 5 year anniversary, it is hard to think it is not at least in its intermediate stage of design and production, I think the plan would be that MK9 is going to be a launch title to soup up sales, get the install base and continue getting some 3rd party support.

Re: Super Rare Games Has 18 Switch Games In The Works, And 'Secret Projects' Too

I know it is not an Indie game, but I would like a physical copy of Okami, but I also assume that would be done by Capcom, or whoever the big player is who owns the rights.

On the Indi front, I would like to see The Touryst, and still waiting on that elusive physical edition of Cuphead. Does anyone know what happened to that?

Re: Rumour: This Year's 'Budget' Switch Could Take The 2DS Route And Ditch A Killer Feature

I don't know much about this, and costs and all, but it would seem that Nintendo can lower the price point by at least $100 just by removing the included dock, rumble feature and removable joy cons. The dock sold seperately is about $85 by itself right? Keep it dockable but just don't include the dock. I have a couple friends at work on the fence about buying a second Switch for their family but don't need the whole setup. A console only option that can use the dock from their original purchase and I think they would jump at the opportunity. As far as from a sales point-of-view, some of these people may decide to buy a dock later for it.

Re: Enter The Dragon's Lair When The Classic Trilogy Arrives On Switch eShop Next Week

Not for me, I don't mind QTEs mixed into a game but a whole game tased on them is not for me. I did try it again when it was released on the WII and it didn't have the magic anymore. But wow, this game was so huge when it was released in the early 80s. I still remember the crowds around the machine and the long lines of quarters waiting to play.

Re: Feature: 17 Remasters We'd Love To See On Switch In 2019

Ste

Out of that list I would choose Skyward Sword, A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, Beyond Good and Evil, and Super Mario Galaxy, and would also like to see Eternal Darkness and Super Mario Strikers (although this one i would rather they made a new game in the series)

Re: Guide: Upcoming Nintendo Switch Games And Accessories For September And October

Salt and Sanctuary and Moonlighter for me.

I don't understand the hostility, for lack of a better word, toward a lack of games or certain games in particular for being rated as awesome. There are always going to be times when there doesn't seem to be anything for me, but i am sure other people are happy with the games that are coming out. And good for them.

Also, I'm sure every game on this list is considered awesome by someone, even if not me. There is no need to question NL rating a game as awesome if you don't think so. Especially since they seemed to have called all the games coming out awesome anyway

Re: Capcom Classic Okami HD Stalks Its Way To Switch This Summer

Ste

I never got around to playing it on the WII, so will probably pick this up at some point either here or PS4, would rather pick it up on Switch but like others above, would like a physical release. But if it sells well on e-shop i think a physical release will also be coming.

Re: Suda51 GameCube Title killer7 To Be Remastered

Ste

I liked this game but I don't see buying it again, the novelty of the story was what it was but I don't see playing through it again. There are other GCN games I would love to see like Eternal Darkness or Second Sight, and I would assume Beyond Good and Evil will probably get a re-make if and when the sequel comes out

Re: Switch US Retail Game Sales 'On Pace' for Nintendo's Best Launch Year Since 1995

Ste

Definitely a good sign, not as good as it sounds since we are comparing about 10 months for the SWITCH versus 2-3 months for other Nintendo consoles. On the other hand, except for the Wii-U isn't this the first console to have full disk/cartridge based game also available for download, so that helps, albeit not even out, the discrepancy in the amount of time counted as a launch year.

Re: Pure Chess Will Checkmate Your Wii U And 3DS Very Soon Indeed

Ste

I was expecting 9.99 here in the USA so the price is a pleasant surprise. Will probably get it but going to wait for the review. I know Pure Chess on the IOS is very barebone albeit free, and you have to buy the different sets, environments and even some of the skill levels, so it depends what all this comes with.

Re: Club Nintendo Rewards Updated for February

Ste

Considering getting Super Mario RPG, does anyone know how many blocks it takes? Also I agree that Nintendo shouldn't be making it look like a wii-U game since it would be played on the wii app. No problem with them putting wii games up for the coins but then advertise them as such.
