The patch is to fix the grab glitch with Diddy, yes. Not every patch removed replays though - only the ones that changed game balance. Most, but not all.

The game still sounds really fun and I will be buying it. It stinks to hear that you can't just play two players locally... which is what my wife and I planned on doing. I'll just get my 6 year old to join though, so it will work out for us. But for others, I can see that feature being a pain. Hopefully the game won't be too bad to play through on single player.

It's sad people read one part of this and jump into bashing Nintendo. Chris made a mistake, broke a very important rule, and was fired for it. He knew he should not have done it, and did it anyway. That's life and hopefully he will learn from his mistakes. I wish him all the best!

Can't wait! I just want a Harvest Moon (and Animal Crossing) game on WiiU. So this sounds awesome. Back to Nature was my 2nd favorite in the series (Next to Harvest Moon 64).

Guess people are forgetting that Nintendo has been announcing new games all year long. NWC2015 was part of E3 and Nintendo has a TON of games in development. They delivered.

I backed this game and even upped my backings. I'm going to have to get this nonetheless, since I do own those other consoles, but I'll be playing it mostly on WiiU.

EQ came out 5 years before WoW and is not a "clone" of WoW. lol. They're both MMORPGs if that's what you mean.

@Genesaur Actually EQ lasted longer - WoW just had A LOT higher player base.

I feel like EverQuest should have gotten it over WoW but WoW deserves it nonetheless.

Awesome! I really wish I could have made it... but even if there was a Best Buy close enough to me, I had a 256 player Smash 4 tournament to worry about. -_-

I'll probably just wait until it hits wiiU. I have Forza 5 afterall.

@Nintendo6400 As a competitive Smash player myself, I will say that I'm against anyone telling anyone else how to play the game. This article brings several things to light - for instance, a few of the guys I play with are jobless and are making their sole income from tournaments... which is good for them right now, but it's not very much. I love Smash as a whole; as a fun game to play with friends with items, the game modes, and the competitive side of it. I've been trying to help Smash 4 grow as much as possible with streaming, hosting tournaments, working with my team Smash Studios, and more... but at the end of the day - consistency is key. Melee has been around for a long time and is still growing... I don't think Smash 4 will ever surpass that but I think it will run along beside it for a very long time. Heck, EVO registrations are dead even, both breaking 1K for Smash 4 and Melee. Smash love!!!

Good point. Zero is the best Smash 4 player in the world for those that don't know. Smash 4 is doing very well for itself, and Melee is still growing even 15+ years later. Some of these comments though... -_-

It's been awhile since the New XLs came out and I am still stuck with the built-in 4GB card and it's very frustrating. It will not let me upgrade to a 16 or 32 no matter how I try it. Nintendo was unable to figure it out two months ago, so I'm going to see if they have a solution now. -_-

Very nice article! I own all of these still and played them all the time during the N64 era. WCW Revenge and WWF Wrestlemania 2000 were my favorites though, roster for roster.

Very good run! The new route made this possible. Sub 18 is now possible and I can't wait to see it happen. Here's hoping Cosmo comes back to run this game again.

Great write-up! Thanks for the info! I have yet to watch the videos, but I will in a bit. This is a day one purchase for me. I'm very excited over it. Seems like the game is going to have a competitive scene also, which I'm stoked to see.

In response to the Captain Falcon story: As a father myself, I probably would have just taken one from him and tossed a $20 on top of his knocked out body. This kind of stuff beyond makes me upset.
